35 Best Barbeque Restaurants near Scarsdale

“I've driven by this place a billion times and never once gave it a second thought. I'm also not a food truck kinda guy but wow did I just find a new spot to frequent.

Prices are so reasonable considering today's absurdity and the food is great. I had the brisket and pulled pork sandwiches, both tasted great. My foodie fiance loved it as well and she's a tough crowd.

If you skipped this place before, turn back and give it a shot. The guy who helped me was very polite, which is rare to see good in person customer service these days. Trust me, this joint should have way more than 30 reviews.“

“Excellent service and excellent food!“

“great local spot love it here“

“This will become your go to place for BBQ! Highly recommend. We had some amazing food. Pastrami is my go to and I have had it at over 50 places this was a favorite. Everything is homemade and you can tell the chef is passionate!! All sauces served on the side so you can choose your own sauce adventure. I never thought I would be equally as excited about ketchup as I was the fries but here we are. It was so laid back and there was no pressure! This place has very knowledgeable staff. I can’t wait to go back and eat again.“

“Omg the food and service are impeccable! I love this restaurant and the staff. My favorite meal is the Pasta Pasta (Rasta Pasta) with shrimp and my favorite side is the cabbage! Can’t wait to go again! Thanks Helen and Quincy🥂🎉🥂“

“Amazing bbq, much needed for the lower Westchester area! We got brisket, pulled pork, a sausage and the last chicken thigh that was left. Everything was delicious. Try the sides too (not pictured here). We had mac 'n cheese, beans and salad. Will go back, many, many times I am sure!

The sitting area is on the smaller side. 3-4 tables. But we didn't have to wait since most people were doing takeouts.“

“Never had a bad meal here and have visited Otto's since they opened. Enjoying the Chinese pop up tonight !“

“What an amazing meal!!! A must try for all BBQ lovers!!!“

“One of our church members had a wedding reception on Saturday and used Westchester picnic. What a great experience! They arrived on time and brought everything for the lunch. They even provide their own garbage bags and containers. In addition, they take away the garbage. But most of all, the food was delicious! The wedding service was a little late in getting started but they accommodated us by staying later. The servers and staff were amazing. Please don't hesitate to use their service. I highly recommend them.“

“我想問如果要坐輪椅。有沒有升降電梯的“

“Actually ate at Sam's. Newly updated, renovated space looks great! As always you feel like family when there. We started out at the bar and chatted with Ron then moved to a booth for dinner. Food was fabulous!! Chef came out to talk with us as well. Lovely evening!“

“Placed the order over the phone yesterday afternoon. Roasted corn and jerk chicken was a really good value for 2ppl. The gentleman there was kind enough to accommodate my friend and I with plates and utensils. He also offered us extra pieces of bread for free.Call ahead of time, wait time may take 15min-20min. Great customer service!“

“This place is so cute! I ordered a veggie burrito during lent, and it was so good I’ve been back 2 more times! Today I got the tacos de bistec Mexicanos and they were 10/10. I work in the area so I’m happy to have found a nice restaurant with food just as amazing as their customer service💗 I highly recommend.“

“BBq the best...................“

“Probably the most beautiful steak you will ever see eevr was made here. I had a sirloin with bacon mashed potatoes and corn and till today I'm still thinking about it. The service was great also and the bread is to die for. Looking forward to my next visit.“

“The red and yellow capsicum as well as the purple cabbage were a surprise, but the ingredients were prepared separately and it was delicious. Generous serving was large enough for 2. Small but authentic menu!“

“Good chicken that doesn't quite get to great chicken. That doesn't mean don't eat here, just set your expectations appropriately. The name? That's great.

The grilled chicken was fine. It might have been slightly over-roasted, and wasn't exploding with Maillard flavor the way a great fire-roasted chicken is. It comes with two sauces, one a bbq sauce and the other buffalo sauce. Both had very heavy vinegar notes. The mac and cheese could have been cheesier.

Service was fast and pleasant.

Would I eat here again? Yes. Would I go out of my way to do so? Probably not.“

“I live upstairs from the deli but that doesn't make me biased thay have really good sandwiches I have had both hot and cold sandwiches... The first sandwich I had from them was a grilled chicken on a roll it was good then I had Honey turkey on a wedge it was very good but then I had a breakfast sandwich yesterday and it was probably the best Bacon Sausage egg & cheese I have ever had the roll was grilled on both sides it was well cooked and seasoned I thoroughly enjoyed this sandwich the most.“

“Visiting my brother and we ordered from Carlos and Gabby’s. This is not the first time as we usually order from there when I’m here.
The food is always great. Their brisket is always tender, the sweet potato fries are spot on. Never had a bad dish so I highly recommend Carlos and Gabby’s whether you’re just visiting the area or are a local!“

“Tudo delicioso ! Atendimento 10❤️ Great food and nice people!“

“Update: used to be good food and service, However, my last visit here was absolutely horrible. Waited an hour and 45 minutes for cold food. 2 out of my party of 4 were served cold food 30 minutes before cold food was horribly presented to the remaining 2 guest. No explanation was offered as to why the delay occurred or why the workers seemed disinterested. I'll probably rethink before returning...“

“This spot is my preferred one. I eat in many restaurants but to this restaurant I keep coming back again and again. The team is very amicable and the food they offer is so flavorful. I never miss an opportunity to have a nice dinner here. I recommend this place with pleasure.“

“Great warm food for a bad weather day“
