“Emma's continues to be a local treasure! They are consistently the most accommodating restaurant with a genuinely wonderful waitstaff. I never write reviews but after last night I'd feel very remiss. I had a “girls night out” with my 4 1/2 year old granddaughter! Emma's was her personal choice. As a grandmother, nothing could have disappointed but there are very few restaurants in Westchester who take a reservation for 2 on Saturday night and shower you with so much attention. I need to call out our server, Richard D. because he personally attended to the dining comfort of a child on a busy night. Our female busser was also so sweet and friendly. Thank you, Emma's! “I was with some friends for a bit of a reunion. I honestly did not know what to expect from Haven but all I can say is that it is a wonderful, friendly and cozy place. The lite bites were all tasty, but the tap list, the whisky...and whiskey list were outstanding, but the cocktails...oh my! Everyone in our party thought the cocktails were truly outstanding, different, and creative. And priced fairly. I have paid more at several places for cocktails that were nowhere as good as at Haven. The owners are delightful and made us feel at home and next time I find myself in Port Chester, forget anywhere else...I know where I am going. Thanks Haven!“

“I love their happy hour that starts at noon as well as their beer selection but allow me to say this about their outside seating service: it is dam near nonexistent except for a tall beautiful black woman from a few months back and a young man named Norie who served me last week. These two people were the ONLY ones that were attentive to me in all the times I sat outside to drink. I was actually surprised how much Norie checked in with me, because aside from him and the aforementioned, I was often treated as an afterthought. Very often i would even go inside to the bar myself to get my own refills!
Again, they have a fabulous happy hour and i do like the out of the way location with my bus stop across the street. The food is decent if a little overpriced for bar food but at least its not as bad as The Bronx Public. Again, if you sit outside then hopefully your assigned server is Norie!“

Opinions about this Mamaroneck institution are as strong and mixed as their cocktails, but as various bars open and close all around it, this place stays true to itself. It's a neighborhood dive bar of the sort that are ubiquitous in my native Wisconsin, but rare gems in the NYC metro. Craft cocktails and small batch IPAs will not be found here, but simple mixed drinks and domestic drafts are always on hand. Darts and a few other bar games are cheap or free, and the beautiful original window storefront opens up wide to let the warm air in on summer nights. I have had some great memories here and it always feels like a sip of home.“

“It is hard to believe to have this old school Irish bar in the city. The warm cozy ambience is amazing. Joe is nicely communicative. I don't know how to call him correctly - a bartender or mixologist because my cocktail and my friend's mocktail were on fire. We told him what we wanted and he made them perfectly, no disappointment. It's not easy to have that match. If I was living in the city, this place would definitely be my go-to bar.“

“I went with a group of friends for my birthday last night. It was AMAZING. The service was great, everyone was so friendly. The place itself was so clean and cute, really cool vibe. The Apps were great, Hush Puppies and Fried Calamari, yum. I did a make-your-own Seafood Boil. OH MY GOD. The New Zealand Mussels, King Crab and Dungeness Crab was out of this world in the Cajun Butter Sauce. I HIGHLY recommend this spot and will be going back.“

Now imagine that bar was plucked right out of that place and put in the middle of Rye. That's The Pub. It's a hole-in-the-wall dive bar that's perfectly out of place in Rye. The bartender has a heavy hand, the drinks are cheap, and it's the ideal location to catch up with an old friend.“

“The Tapp is the quintessential local bar. The staff are very friendly, the burgers are phenomenal (as is everything else on the menu), and the prices are more than reasonable. If you find yourself in Tarrytown for shopping or seeing a show at The Music Hall, make a stop at The Tapp a part of the experience. Better still, make the trip just to visit The Tapp alone. It really is a great place to hang out with friends, catch a singer, play Tuesday Night Trivia, or have a terrific meal.“

“My visit to Arepa Mania Bar & Grill in NY was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely amazing the Reina Pepiada arepa was packed with flavor and perfectly prepared. The chicharrón was crispy and delicious, and the natural passion fruit juice was incredibly refreshing.

The atmosphere added so much to the experience. The indoor garden-style decor is really nice, giving the space a cozy and vibrant feel that makes you want to sit back and enjoy your meal even more.
