“A nice buffet in Yonkers, right of Central Park Ave. so easy to access and since it’s in a plaza you’ve got plenty of parking. Not too big or as many offerings as other buffets but everything we had there was good, not to mention they’ve got an ice cream machine which is always a plus for me. Very clean, didn’t notice any spillage or old looking food, as they were turning it all over very quick since it was lunch time. Price was good, not sure if it was a lunch special but it was about 1 on a Friday. Will definitely be back for lunch another time“

“We were staying at the Tarrytown house estate and decided to visit Goosefeather for dinner, not having any idea about the restaurant other than that it was located on-site. As Chinese-style martial artists, we were pleasantly surprised to see the Cantonese -fusion menu options as we walked in. Unfortunately, we did not have reservations, but we were able to sit at the bar. What an auspicious turn of luck! The bar offers not only the full menu, but the chance to watch professionals at their craft. We were taken care of by Mariana and Sara, who were busy yet still highly attentive. They were very knowledgeable about the menu, and explained everything even before our questions had a habce to leave our lips. We started with some standard drinks (a spicy martini, and one of their mocktails with Ron Zacapa rum added in). Solid pours, balancing the flavors of the drinks with adequate alcohol to keep things fun). Next week ordered the spicy rice cakes and the potstickers. Each was perfectly done. The potstickers were crispy but not burnt, and paired with a just-right spicy Chinese mustard. There were four per serving, which served to whet out appetites while leaving us waiting for more. Next, we got the spicy rice cakes. These were just hot enough to let the tongue know, but the spice built pleasantly. The plate was pretty big, and the two of us had more than one or two helpings each. Finally, we had the Crying Tiger Tuna. The lightly seared and seasoned tuna was paired with avocado salad, pickled gooseberries, and sweet goji berries. Delicious! To cap it off, we switched up our drinks for two of their signature cocktails. Sweet emotion is a pumpkin espresso martini with a smoky bubble of deliciousness in top. Love in an Elevator is a wild rum ride of flavors I'd never think to blend, such as apricot, chocolate, and lemon. Overall, while pricey, the experience, the food, and the atmosphere made it worth it! As a bonus, we were watched over by a really cool portrait of Bruce Lee!“

“Decided to stop by after driving by on my way home from work. I have often passed this location and wanted to stop by and I am glad I did. I was drawn in by the inviting decor and clean interior. Cuisine is tasty traditional Chinese served in a contemporary setting. I opted for take out as I was on my way home but will definitely dine in to enjoy the sit down experience next time. I took home their sesame tofu with white rice. Takeout is carefully packaged and prepared with the diner in mind. (A much appreciated upgrade from typical restaurants that just throw your dish in a container and toss it in a bag for you.) The menu has classic favorites as well as some more trendy takes on popular dishes. Definitely an upgrade from your typical Chinese restaurant. Come check this place out! 🤩🤩🤩“

“Extremely delicious and authentic Chinese food. As a white person who grew up in Fuzhou, China, this place instantly reminded me of my hometown. The flavors dance on my tongue like a beautiful ballet and my mouth is enveloped in heavenly textures. I seriously recommend this to EVERYONE. “This is the most horrible restaurant place I've ever ordered from. I ordered and picked up in store. I ordered "Roast Pork with Chinese vegetables" I specifically asked if the vegetables included bok choy and was assured that it did. When I got home with the food the only vegetable included with the Pork was celery. Just a container of pork and celery, another time I ordered BBQ Ribs and it was a very small order and some of them were burned. When I questioned the counter person he answered that they had run out. Then why did they sell, and charge me an order? Don't order food from this place, If you want to enjoy it, it is BAD and they.“

The extra drive is absolutely worth it. Portions are “old school” big, prices run about $2 to $3 less than other places, and they always throw in something extra for free. The egg rolls taste just like the ones you remember as a kid, and the boneless spare ribs were superb (IMO). My wife, who usually gets headaches when MSG is used, had no issues here, which says a lot.
