I recommend getting one of their panini’s, they know what they are doing and most likely what they have on the menu is a really good idea.The place has a huge drink selection on the wall, a few shelves full of chips, and the menu is incredibly easy to read and it actually includes the ingredients which you don’t see anymore nowadays.The staff was super nice and took your order quickly, somehow the (I believe manager) remembered my order (Texas hold ‘em with grilled chicken) in just three visits.Sadly soon I’ll have to leave New York and won’t be able to eat here anytime soon, but I will remember this place.“

(There goes my diet) I ran across Layers from Uber Eats and googled the store to read the reviews which were great but I saw some bad reviews about the cakes being stale and not fresh. My cravings got the best of me and I ordered despite some bad reviews. Man oh man was I happy I did. The brownie was delicious and moist. I hate hard dry brownies this place did not disappoint. “The cannolis here are INCREDIBLE... 10/10!!! The cookies are pretty good, too, as they are not overly sweet and go perfectly with coffee or tea. However, their mini cakes are not the best, which is why I'm docking a star. I ordered a mini tiramisu which was dry and seemed to have a frosting layer rather than a creamy mascarpone, which was disappointing. Overall, awesome bakery! I would just say to avoid the mini cakes.“

One time we had a bad experience with delivery the guy really made the cookies disgusting I don’t recommend order this way but for pick up yes. Cookies was fresh and delicious!“

They have been using Sapienza for a long time and as my children were born and I needed there birthday cakes or any type of cakes I stood with them. “I go to Diane’s all the time for coffee and baked goods, at least once a week. I invited new moms and dads from the Roslyn school today for a gathering at Diane’s this morning to support local business. We had about 12 people. Sat outside at the patio where the shaded area was. Everybody all bought coffee and pastries. We arranged the tables and chairs in a long row so we could see each other. Later we were told by Diane, the owner, that she wasn’t happy that we rearranged her tables and sat together in a row. Why? The place wasn’t crowded with other guests. We all bought and paid for goods. I couldn’t help but thinking that because we were all Asians?! She could ask us kindly to put the tables and chairs back once we finish, which we did without being asked at the end. But with the unwelcoming remarks I will never come to support this business again. I don’t say this lightly but I felt it was discrimination in every way. I’m truly disappointed. I love Diane’s and the yummy treats but the owner was truly unkind. I share this post here because I don’t think this business supports diversity, which is a shame because this community is becoming more and more diversified.“
