“My wife was looking for a bakery who made eggless cakes and she stumbled upon this bakery by chance. She ordered a custom made gulab jamun flavored eggless cakes and. It was definitely one of the best cakes I had especially for my birthday. My folks also grabbed a few puffs - mixed vegetable and paneer puffs while they went to grab the cake. Those were spicy and delicious as well. We will be ordering regularly from this bakery moving forward. Definitely want to try all their different flavored items. Highly recommended!“

“Walked by the other day and ordered one of the croffle breakfast sandwiches and it was so delicious! It’s a great combo of sweet and savory and the cheese was a perfect blanket for the eggs and bacon. I also got two mochi donuts (green tea and purple sweet potato) and those were great as well!“

However, their mini cakes are not the best, which is why I'm docking a star. I ordered a mini tiramisu which was dry and seemed to have a frosting layer rather than a creamy mascarpone, which was disappointing. Overall, awesome bakery! “Legendary Brooklyn baker Don Paco López has finally opened a Long Island outpost. This is the same bakery that was immortalized at the Brooklyn Children’s Museum, and has a cult following for its conchas, tamales and milanesa and pierna tortas. The Westbury location is also tended by members of Don Paco López’ family so quality is guaranteed. The bread is fresh, made daily (by hand). I had an order or Bavarian cream-filled churros for a school event and they were a smashing hit. Give it a try, you won’t regret it.

Kid-friendliness: There are hand crafted piñatas on site, Mexican candy and sweet baked goods and pastries perfect for kids .“

“I go to Diane’s all the time for coffee and baked goods, at least once a week. I invited new moms and dads from the Roslyn school today for a gathering at Diane’s this morning to support local business. We had about 12 people. Sat outside at the patio where the shaded area was. Everybody all bought coffee and pastries. We arranged the tables and chairs in a long row so we could see each other. Later we were told by Diane, the owner, that she wasn’t happy that we rearranged her tables and sat together in a row. Why? The place wasn’t crowded with other guests. We all bought and paid for goods. I couldn’t help but thinking that because we were all Asians?! She could ask us kindly to put the tables and chairs back once we finish, which we did without being asked at the end. But with the unwelcoming remarks I will never come to support this business again. I don’t say this lightly but I felt it was discrimination in every way. I’m truly disappointed. I love Diane’s and the yummy treats but the owner was truly unkind. I share this post here because I don’t think this business supports diversity, which is a shame because this community is becoming more and more diversified.“

“The food was amazing, I got the Texas Hold ‘em but with grilled chicken and they did an amazing job. They cook the chicken/bacon right in front of your eyes, plus the food tastes incredibly fresh. I recommend getting one of their panini’s, they know what they are doing and most likely what they have on the menu is a really good idea.The place has a huge drink selection on the wall, a few shelves full of chips, and the menu is incredibly easy to read and it actually includes the ingredients which you don’t see anymore nowadays.The staff was super nice and took your order quickly, somehow the (I believe manager) remembered my order (Texas hold ‘em with grilled chicken) in just three visits.Sadly soon I’ll have to leave New York and won’t be able to eat here anytime soon, but I will remember this place.“
