“My best friend lives in Queens so she and I come to the Onion Tree every other Friday night. I wish this place was closer to me. I live in Yonkers. The food is superb, seasoned extraordinarily. The chicken is fresh, soft and cut into small bites. I always order chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, or chicken tikka pizza. I have never had food that I enjoyed this much and I have tried all foods all over the world. I never get tired of this place. And the food is served quickly and piping hot. They’re opening a second place in Manhattan. We’re getting closer to Yonkers!! The drinks are awesome too. Barbra and Louis work behind the bar. They’re friendly and great bartenders.“

“The hostess tried to seat us in the empty private room in the back without offering a choice for the main dining area and we were forced object to this and were then seated on the floor. Based on the fact that both of our entre’s , filet, trout, were perfectly cooked and presented and delightful, a four star minimum is justified. Our side of brussels was undercooked and hard as rocks. The cocktails were perfectly done. No cheese cake after a steak? No coffee beans in the sambuca? The venue turned out to be a cut below. The pricing was fair in my opinion so on balance, an average dining experience overall. There are better options for sure.“

“Dinner for two on October 10, around $80. Newly opened, and everything about it says someone thought hard about every decision. The decor, the menu that arrives tied with a decorative ribbon, the plating - it's all considered without being precious.

My husband eats meat and I'm vegetarian, so we always order one of each. He had the farmhouse roasted chicken, I had the braised seitan, and they were equally good - which almost never happens. Most kitchens treat the vegetarian main as an obligation. This one doesn't.

The service is the part I didn't expect. Knowledgeable, thoughtful, and attentive in the way that comes from people who actually care about the room they're working in. It's an experience for the eyes, the nose and the tongue and at $80 for two, it's remarkable value for what you get.

“Had a great dinner at LA420! The highlight was definitely the Tomahawk Steak. It was perfectly cooked, super tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The portion was generous and perfect for sharing. Definitely a must-try!

I also loved the Shiso Q cocktail! Super refreshing, well-balanced, and had a unique flavor that made it stand out. It paired really nicely with the steak. The restaurant has a stylish yet cozy atmosphere, making it a great spot for date night or hanging out with friends. Overall, such an enjoyable experience with delicious food and amazing drinks. “We were three who visited The Meadows on a Friday afternoon in the summer. They were not busy at all. We chose to sit outside on their patio overlooking the golf course which was quite lovely until the bees and lantern flies became very annoying and aggressive. We then moved inside to their lovely dining room. The staff was very attentive and friendly and the food was very good. It would behoove them to try to get the bee situation under better control. Would recommend and we are surely to return.“

While on vacation we decided to patronize this establishment with 80 years of history. We stocked up on vegetarian friending fresh pasta and frozen prepared meals.

The staff were friendly and willing to engage in conversation. We purchased quite a few items and will update our review after we have had a change to try them all.“

“Went with my fiance before dinner for some drinks and lite bites. Loved the oysters which came with their house made cocktail sauce and vinaigrette - these were $34 for a dozen so not cheap. Recommend sticking to on menu drinks vs create your own. Cindy was great and so accommodating.“

“We actually never went to this location before, but had greatly enjoyed their prior second location in Port Washington. Expectaions were right on point. Food was excellent from appetizer to the main course. Maybe it's weird but I kind of respect even the small things like when a restaraunt offers to chose to serve in house brewed ice tea as opposed to something pre processed. The Brisket from todays specials list was perfect. This restaurant is 45min drive from home and well worth the trip. Thank You, we will be back.“

“Whenever we come to Hicksville, Piccolo's is always a place we visit at least twice. Breakfast and lunch sandwiches are reasonably priced and the food is delicious. I also love the Salvadorian selection of hot foods and pupusas. The owner is always very friendly and helpful. I have never had a bad experience or meal from here. “I love to travel, and Revel restaurant in Garden City, NY, is truly one of the best restaurants I have been to. The managerial staff were very friendly and accommodating, the food was excellent, and the service was impeccable. Melissa, our server, explained everything so well, and she took her time with us. The wait staff worked with her seamlessly so that everything came out on time, and our water glasses were always full. The cuisine offered so many different choices, even for vegetarians and vegans. The vegetarian dishes I tried were a myriad of flavors, and it was so nice to experience new creations that I have never had at any other restaurant.
