“We came here on a thurs even around 6pm...Was pretty crowded but got a table in the middle..The sound level is pretty high at 3/4 capacity but somehow you seem to flow with it because of the atmosphere... People enjoying good mex food are more enjoyable to be around for some reason..anyway...lighting as with most place is difficult to read menu but once the order was in,alot of fun...I noticed the food to be very FRESH...I immediately tasted that in the beans on my Mexican special and the Flautas,chimichanga etc were all delicious stuffed and perfectly cooked!..Fajita steak was so nicely marinated and charred but med inside..Perfect!..Wait staff were all very pleasant....I enjoyed my visit and will defin visit during a slow day,maybe lunch for a lil more quiet....“

“Very nice inviting decor. Service was just ok. The server was basic, didn’t tell us it was happy hour? Nor did she mention and food selections. For a new establishment I guess I was expecting a bit more … maybe ask if we had been there before? Check back to see how our food was( it was outstanding), we got more help from the water girl Had to ask to clear table. Had to ask for check from the water girl? The server had much support. Seems she took our order and disappeared. But the server assistants were on point. Dinner was really good. We will go back… because of the food. Even the manager walked pasted us a dozen times. There were 6 tables.. perfect time for manager to mingle… just saying. Place is very nice, great menu too. Just left feeling ignored. Nice music too. Maybe the server was having a bad day? “Have ordered many times from Ole’s. The food is delicious and service friendly and warm. Today, decided to eat in so we could try the nachos crispy and warm in the store. They were amazing!!! The other items were also great, my kids loved all of it. At the end, we had a chance to meet one of the owners, Manny. He was very friendly and warm, chatted with my boys and then surprised them with a warm churro. Needless to say, we’ll be coming back even more frequently now. Yum yum yum.“

“Its not the regular-cheap price Mexican restaurant, but the food is really good and the restaurant is beautiful. The frozen margaritas are excellent! Good portion of food and drink and we had the lucky day of going when the margaritas were buy one and get one free !!!! Wednesdays! Guava and passion fruit were my choices! “Went on a Tuesday night and I loved the surf and turf tacos. So much flavor and it was made with steak and shrimp.

Listen the service was so fast. The drinks were great, nice vibe and the music was very mixed and nice from hiphop, reggae and Latin music.

“#1 most important thing for me is cleanliness if i dont see them using gloves or if they operate the register then serve you the food thats a big no no for me. But none of that was going on they are clean! They have lime and steak, pretty good little spicy. I get the cilantro rice in a bowl 🥣 with toppings extra cilantro steak and some chicken. You know I need me some protein. Children meal includes juicy box and 2 adult bowls like 30 bucks split the boll and you have an awesome deal, lol. Lines are short but when it gets busy it moves fast. Can't tell you the condition of the bathrooms, though never had to use them. You can dine outside they play music . It's safe area and when your done you can hit up Starbucks, it works out. Good management I'm sure.“

“Island Grill is a 10/10 spot!! There are a few seats at a wall counter but other than that you come here to pick up your food and eat elsewhere. The prices are fantastic and the portions are great as well! The quesadillas are small sized and priced accordingly, you can get one for $3! This is a great place to come for a cheap lunch or to order large portions for a big group dinner. I do both often. You absolutely have to try their bourbon chicken, you will not be disappointed!

“Booked our wedding reception here at the guac shop. We wanted something small, low-key and hassle free for our big day and our brother stumbled upon their party room! We received an informative tour and we’re able to book our date and time easily! The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and so helpful!! The day of, they made it really easy for our florist and wedding planner to set up and the space complimented the celebration in an unexpectedly beautiful way (especially their preexisting floral wall piece)!! The food was hot and ready for us and the party attendant was so friendly, helpful, attentive and just so much fun to have celebrate along with us and serve our dear guests!! “Azteca Deli in Westbury is another excellent authentic Mexican restaurant. You may have seem my past posts about other Mexican food establishments in Westbury. I've also reviewed Azteca in the past but all those times I was picking up food. Today I finally stopped by for lunch inside the Deli/restaurant. The sitting down experience totally kicks ass!!! I love the vibes here. Fast paced happy Mexican music called Norteno blasts from the speakers above. The Aztec themed colors and artworks are on the walls. There are gods myth and legends in this place as the very friendly owner spoke to us about less known Mexican travel destinations. The complimentary starter appetizers of sliced cucumbers, radish, and Tortilla chips show off the authenticity of this Mexican restaurant. We ordered Birira Tacos, Pancita (menudo) tripes soup, and a Chucharrone Guisado which is a stewed simmer down deep fried pork served with rice and beans with green sauce. The hotsauces, salsa, pickled onions, and condiments are so good here. We had these $7 huge drinks of Horchata as well as Jamaica(Sorel) very delicious and generously presented.
The festive Mexican music here adds happy touch to the delicious experience.
