“We came here on a thurs even around 6pm...Was pretty crowded but got a table in the middle..The sound level is pretty high at 3/4 capacity but somehow you seem to flow with it because of the atmosphere... People enjoying good mex food are more enjoyable to be around for some reason..anyway...lighting as with most place is difficult to read menu but once the order was in,alot of fun...I noticed the food to be very FRESH...I immediately tasted that in the beans on my Mexican special and the Flautas,chimichanga etc were all delicious stuffed and perfectly cooked!..Fajita steak was so nicely marinated and charred but med inside..Perfect!..Wait staff were all very pleasant....I enjoyed my visit and will defin visit during a slow day,maybe lunch for a lil more quiet....“

“Very nice inviting decor. Service was just ok. The server was basic, didn’t tell us it was happy hour? Nor did she mention and food selections. For a new establishment I guess I was expecting a bit more … maybe ask if we had been there before? Check back to see how our food was( it was outstanding), we got more help from the water girl Had to ask to clear table. Had to ask for check from the water girl? The server had much support. Seems she took our order and disappeared. But the server assistants were on point. Dinner was really good. We will go back… because of the food. Even the manager walked pasted us a dozen times. There were 6 tables.. perfect time for manager to mingle… just saying. Place is very nice, great menu too. Just left feeling ignored. Nice music too. Maybe the server was having a bad day? “Have ordered many times from Ole’s. The food is delicious and service friendly and warm. Today, decided to eat in so we could try the nachos crispy and warm in the store. They were amazing!!! The other items were also great, my kids loved all of it. At the end, we had a chance to meet one of the owners, Manny. He was very friendly and warm, chatted with my boys and then surprised them with a warm churro. Needless to say, we’ll be coming back even more frequently now. Yum yum yum.“

“Went on a Tuesday night and I loved the surf and turf tacos. So much flavor and it was made with steak and shrimp.

Listen the service was so fast. The drinks were great, nice vibe and the music was very mixed and nice from hiphop, reggae and Latin music.

“We cannot possibly rave enough about Fat Boy’s Burrito. We waited for them to open and since they finally came to our area in 2022 they do not disappoint. Previously, most of our experience was with dining in at the restaurant and picking up take out orders. The food is always a home run. You cannot go wrong no matter what you choose. The staff are friendly and appear to enjoy their work. We recently hosted a party and ordered catering- there was an abundance of food that was delivered hot, set up for us, and the quality matched the presentation. Our guests left full (and with to go containers). Placing the order was seamless and any question we had was answered immediately and with care. We will definitely be placing future catering orders.“

They treat you with respect and dignity. When you order triple chicken, they give you triple. They do not scrimp.

This is the only Mexican chain restaurant that I will go to. The other one's portions are disrespectfully small.

“Wow what a fantastic find! We decided to try this new Mexican place, and it did not disappoint. Every single dish was packed with flavor. The tamale was perfectly moist and savory, and the taco Pescadero was fresh and perfectly seasoned. We also devoured the steak quesadilla, which was cheesy and full of tender steak. Don't even get me started on the empanadas—both the chili empanada and the chicken and cheese empanada were phenomenal. We can't wait to go back and try more!“

The day of, they made it really easy for our florist and wedding planner to set up and the space complimented the celebration in an unexpectedly beautiful way (especially their preexisting floral wall piece)!! “I had stopped coming here for a long time as The kids working here had a very bad habit of shaking all the food off the spoon sort of like chipotle does now. I recently gave it another try, and I have to say the food was prepared Generously, the place was very clean, and the service, unlike before was now friendly. “Island Grill is a 10/10 spot!! There are a few seats at a wall counter but other than that you come here to pick up your food and eat elsewhere. The prices are fantastic and the portions are great as well! The quesadillas are small sized and priced accordingly, you can get one for $3! This is a great place to come for a cheap lunch or to order large portions for a big group dinner. I do both often. You absolutely have to try their bourbon chicken, you will not be disappointed!

“Azteca Deli in Westbury is another excellent authentic Mexican restaurant. You may have seem my past posts about other Mexican food establishments in Westbury. I've also reviewed Azteca in the past but all those times I was picking up food. Today I finally stopped by for lunch inside the Deli/restaurant. The sitting down experience totally kicks ass!!! I love the vibes here. Fast paced happy Mexican music called Norteno blasts from the speakers above. The Aztec themed colors and artworks are on the walls. There are gods myth and legends in this place as the very friendly owner spoke to us about less known Mexican travel destinations. The complimentary starter appetizers of sliced cucumbers, radish, and Tortilla chips show off the authenticity of this Mexican restaurant. We ordered Birira Tacos, Pancita (menudo) tripes soup, and a Chucharrone Guisado which is a stewed simmer down deep fried pork served with rice and beans with green sauce. The hotsauces, salsa, pickled onions, and condiments are so good here. We had these $7 huge drinks of Horchata as well as Jamaica(Sorel) very delicious and generously presented.
The festive Mexican music here adds happy touch to the delicious experience.

This was the most delicious I have ever had! I’ve had this dish both in a burrito and a bowl, both were exquisite. Order a margarita (or 2) and thank me later :) The service is 5 star, and the family is soo sweet. The owner even gave us an order of churros on the house. We can’t wait for our next visit!“

“Anytime I've ordered take out from this place its been fresh and delicious and usually always ready by the time i get there. I must say I haven't been too crazy about eating in there cause there service really isn't the best. Waiter/Waitresses don't really have any personality and my waiter tried to charge me extra for rice and beans that was suppose to automatically come with the shrimp dish i usually get from there. Besides the dining in aspect, I will return for take out cause I do enjoy the food.“
