“I love the service. The food is ALWAYS delicious. I’m a sucker for their omelettes. I love a good window seat and to write while I’m there. It’s always clean and everyone is friendly and I love watching all the families and regulars come in with their kids or grand parents. The coffee is good. The parking is endless and they have a ramp for anyone needing the use of it. Desserts galore in tall fridge as soon as you walk in — you can always grab that to go after you finish your meal. Large portions. Excellent prices. I love the place!!“

“Absolutely wonderful experience! I took 12 employees out to celebrate the holiday season and see a show in Albany. From the time we called for a reservation, right through dinner, the entire staff, and especially our server Casey were so welcoming and accommodating. The drinks, food, and service were all superb! Casey made us feel like we were the only thing that mattered in the restaurant, while the kitchen and bar handled some special requests with ease! In a world where the meaning of hospitality seems to have been forgotten by so many, this restaurant still knows what it means, and executes flawlessly. “Went on international donut day, donuts were good but a bit of chewy texture. Only thing that was disappointing was the cinnamon roll, it was dry and hard. (Edit) So I came back after the owner asked that I retry the cinnamon roll, the 2nd time it was definitely better and fresher but maybe I just prefer a thicker roll but wasn't dry. The fudge fancy was decent but on the smaller side compared to other local bakeries. The Lobster tail wasn't bad just have never had a custard filled so it has a different taste and it's very crispy. The Maple Cream Bacon Cronut was amazing and made the trip worth it.“

When we found other establishments on New Scotland Ave closing their dining rooms by 9pm on a Saturday night, SakeCafe was graciously open, serving delicious food (we tried a little of everything from sushi to Udon) and with the best tableside service I've experienced in literally years. “As a Taiwanese foodie, here are my little thoughts. The noodles in the beef noodle soup were too soft and mushy, and the broth lacked depth of flavor. The beef itself was nicely cooked and tender. The popcorn chicken was crispy, but I wish the chicken had used more five-spice powder when marinating it. The spicy wontons were tasty. Overall, the food was good, but the noodles and broth could use a bit more work.“

Unbeatable cocktails made by real mixologist's and a rad atmosphere! They have events and live music scheduled regularly and more people need to check this place out. I'm pretty sure the pizza is smuggled in through a prohibition era brick tunnel that connects DeFazio's to Albany Distilling. Go get some tasty pizza a few cocktails and support a unique local business.

“Had a late lunch/early dinner yesterday. I ordered the “Langosta El Mariachi”. OMG!!! It was beyond delicious! The lobster tails were stuffed with shrimp and scallops with a creamy white sauce and cheese... the green beans seasoned perfectly with fresh garlic, the rice was cooked to perfection. The meal was perfectly plated and resembled a piece of art. I enjoyed every morsel. The lobster,shrimp and scallops were cooked perfectly. The staff is very friendly. The restaurant has a wonderful and warm ambiance and it is very clean. I highly recommend everyone to experience their own dining experience here. You won’t be disappointed.
