“My schools has their prom at The Pines, and it is such a lovely, beautiful space with kind owners and staff. The grounds are lovely. The food is great. The location is serene. The atmosphere is moody, woodsy and cozy. Hoping to come back for my own date night soon!”

“The restaurant and the comfy bed was the best part of our stay!! I will admit it’s my fault I didn’t notice that it stayed that all room are on the 2nd and 3rd floors but their stairs are insanely narrow. We chose the double room and that’s pretty much what it was…. A double bed with a sink and an end table. Then what looked to be an old closet was the shower and toilet. The whole room was at a slant and to sit on the toilet was very tight to say the least as well as the toilet having the same lean. Again, the bed was super comfy and my hubby and I were forced to chat as there wasn’t a tv in our room oh, and no phone. The walls are paper thin as you could hear the people not only talking next to us but below us too! We are at the restaurant downstairs which was amazing and if you’ve had the fried chicken, I don’t need to say anymore, it’s fantastic! The lady that checked us in was nice also. I will make sure to read all amenities and look more closely at room pictures.”

“I ordered the whole wheat sourdough in NC. This bread is absolutely delicious even though it’s shipped so far! So glad I found bread alone for a great tasting sourdough with only real ingredients and a great price!”

“After being talked out of sitting outside we were then talked out of another table in the dining room only to be seated next to the napkin station. We ordered drinks and told the bread was coming. After 3 requests the bread came with the entrees rather than with the appetizers we ordered. The food was very good and one round of our drinks were good the second round were not. When spending $275 for a dinner for 2, I think it's fair to expect excellent service to compliment the menu and create an elevated experience all around.”
