“All I can say is AY DIOS MIOOOO!!WOW this brought me back to my island. The alcapurria was outstanding, empanadas perfections, sorrullos delicious, rice and beans yummy! Everything tasted like it was made with love. I am so happy I found a restaurant that really depicts what our islands flavor is made of.Ive been going to island empanada for many years, and decided to give this place a try and wow blew them right out the water! Will definitely order again???“

“I ordered the pork plate and was delighted with every part of it. They do not skimp on flavor or portions! The rice and beans would have been perfect by themselves but paired so well with that juicy pork. Also, you can't go wrong with maduros! I was offered to get a part of the crsipy skin too, which was soo nice as it's one of my favorite parts! I finished this fantastic plate with a heavenly guava and cheese empanada. If I'm ever back in the area, I will be visiting again.“

“Family owned, the empanadas I ordered from Island Empanada were absolutely divine. The service was quick and the people were more than friendly. Their selection was large and I could tell that every empanada was prepared on-premise. The quality of the meat was superb. I go here every so often when my stomach desires something delectable. Believe me when I tell you that you will be satisfied.“
