“I ordered the chicken with string beans and rice and while it wasn’t quite what I expected I could tell a lot of effort went into preparing the meal. The flavors were unique and it’s clear they’re trying something a little different which I can appreciate. The portion size was generous and everything was hot and fresh when it arrived. I’m looking forward to exploring more items on the menu to find my favorites. Thanks to the team for their hard work!“

Prices are very fair. I think these are the best Chinese BBQ ribs in the area. The wonton soup is also good and can really satisfy a cold. There is a slight black pepper taste to it.

“My wife and I are long time residents of Somers and last we ordered out from Q’s was about a decade ago. Not so good back then…excellent today. What a difference! Our food including soup was exemplary - tasty, not salty and most importantly, fresh! Many thanks and we surely have a new go to for Chinese food.

“Ming Hing is the absolute best Chinese food in Mahopac! I have been going here for over 20 years and I have tried just about every Chinese restaurant from Carmel to Somers to Yorktown. Ming Hing is consistently delicious! I can always count on them for great Chinese food and great service, even when they are extremely busy. If you haven’t tried Ming Hing yet, give them a try!

Parking: Just park across the street in the lot because it’s hard to get street parking.“

“It’s a bit unorthodox, but it’s not a bad place. It is a solid four star Asian cuisine takeout restaurant. Nothing more nothing less. I believe now they offer Thai cuisine, which makes it that much more bizarre. They should put more focus on their rice, which is actually really really good! :-)“

“Recently we stopped at China Wok on the way home to pick up something for dinner. It seemed to be new Owner or Management. It was a Takeout order, I found the food to taste very fresh, the Vegetables and rice were delicious. The chicken was tender as well. The service was fast and friendly. I'm guessing that the majority of their business is takeout, that's why I rate the atmosphere 4 star, there's always room for improvement, for a takeout place it was acceptable, at least it was clean. I would definitely eat there again.“

“Favorite food here is shrimp fried rice. It is freshly made. Plenty of shrimp and vegetables. Shrimp and broccoli, general tso chicken, ribs excellent. Egg rolls a little greasy. Staff professional and hardworking. Prices are not bad. Large shrimp fried rice $8.00. This is a regular spot for me. Place looks plain but clean.“

“We needed a quick bite in between touring West Point and this was the perfect spot. The food was fresh, flavorful and delicious. The chicken fried rice was cooked just right; the chicken was seasoned well and the portion was a plate full. The Mongolian beef had plenty of meat and fresh vegetables, it was served with steamed rice. The chicken and broccoli was served with a brown sauce and plenty of chicken and vegetables also served with steamed rice. The service was quick and friendly. Drinks are sodas and waters served in cans and bottles.“

Our entrees were the Hunan Special, a spicy dish of jumbo shrimp, crab meat, chicken, pork, black mushrooms, and vegetables, and the Happy Family with similar ingredients minus the spicy kick. “I took a day trip to Cold Spring via the Seastreak ferry. The restaurant caught my eye initially because of the clothing and gift items that were displayed outside. I found a beautiful reversible Shanghai Tang embroidered jacket, and took it inside to purchase. Inside the restaurant were more gifts and clothing for sale. The owner was very pleasant. The restaurant smelled great, so I decided to order food. I had the spicy chicken, pork and beef with white rice. It had the right amount of spice, and the portion was large enough that I had leftovers. If you find yourself in Cold Spring, I highly recommend a visit to New Ming Moon. You may just find a hidden treasure.“

“BEST LO MEIN IN THE WORLD!!! This place is something special. The noodle options & quality are unrivaled. The chef is so incredible & talented! Any other Chinese restaurant leaves me disappointed. I’ve been going here for 15+ years and can’t recommend it enough.

Vegetarian options: I used to order beef lo mein, but have switched to vegetable lo mein/just the noodles. It still tastes absolutely incredible and is so flavorful. Staff is kind and will modify orders for you where possible so that there isn’t meat. I have also eaten here with vegetarian friends.“
