“I've been trying to keep to strict social distancing due to my son's grandparents that he has interaction with due to his father being an "essential" worker. I am healthy and at minimal risk but my worry for others has kept me home for most of this. But, my poor son had a serious case of cabin fever and has been begging for Jersey Mike's so we ventured out. Thankfully your online ordering is painless and I was able to pay online which limited the contact ✔. When I got there, I left my teenage son in the car to limit his contact and I didn't think I'd need help running in and out, as the order was already ready. 👍I was greeted by the same friendly faces in this particular building (I'll drive extra to go to this shop because friendliness and courtesy are a very big deal to me). 😃 I had ordered drinks and on instinct I reached in the bag to grab them..with the gloves I had worn to go inside. I stood there for a half second in slight panic when I heard the gentleman behind the counter. He offered to replace the cups because he had seen my reaction. He insisted even though I tried to deny the offer because it was my own silly fault. I got my son's favorite root beer (one of the other reasons my son loves Jersey Mike's lol) and practically sped all the way home. While this all seems trivial on a normal day...the kindness and awareness that gentleman showed helped me through my anxiety through the situation. Normal is no longer "normal" and his job is stressful I'm sure...But he still paid attention to his guests, he quickly addressed an issue before I could even register it was one fully, and he made my day. I couldn't give him a hug, and nobody wants to see a random lady crying in the middle of a sandwich shop...but I wanted to make sure the store got the recognition it deserved. Thank you for making my stress a little less stressful and for being a place I can trust in the midst of this insanity.“

“I work in the mall for 4+ years and I think Charlie’s the best place to eat compared to other options. A beautiful worker, Sonny, has been there what feels like everyday. Every time I go she always has amazing energy and slides an extra sauce! She goes out of her way to make someone’s day. They always have good deals and an expansive menu, def recommend on a shopping trip!“

“I have been going to this Subway since the day they opened in 2003 when Alper first acquired the business. The food is good, it’s always fresh and the staff is friendly. One thing I look for in any business is how well the owner(s) treat their employees. Al treats his staff well.

“This was my first time to this Subway. I've been to bad ones before where I've gotten sick so I stopped eating it for awhile but I had a random craving for Subway today. I came in around 11:30 am. There was one man ahead of me. The clerk finished with him much faster than I expected. I noticed the store was very clean. The atmosphere was comfortable. I happened for some reason to look at their prepping boards and they were pure white which actually calmed my fear about getting sick. I ordered a philly cheesesteak with provolone cheese, lettuce, onions, sweet peppers, pickles, black olives and jalapeno (like I said random craving) He made a joke when he rung up my order and said $125.40 instead of $12.54 I laughed and asked him his name. He told me his name is Rocky. He printed my receipt and said if I do the survey on the receipt I could get a free cookie. I went on the website right then and there and answered the questions. Rocky even helped me and I got a free cookie. Rocky had great customer service. He made me feel welcomed. Oh and the sanidwich? was awesome! Perfect amount of toppings to complement the steak. I recommend it. Thanks Rocky! Would definitely come back.“

“I visit this Subway regularly. I have never had any issues with service or food quality. Friendly staff clean restaurant and good amount of seating. I've noticed over the years that it may have changed ownership a couple of times but still no issues and was a seamless transition. I would recommend this location to others as one of the better stores as I have been to a few which do not stack up as well. It is a convenient location in a strip mall with plenty of other shopping nearby.

Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetables here. More than one person could want. The combinations are endless limited only by your imagination.

Parking: Parking is reasonable. Being tucked in a strip mall makes parking abundant. Handicap accessible parking is available too.“

“Stopped in for a sub, fell in love with the environment. What a cool place, the manager is the sweetest person. He let my son get behind the counter and make a couple subs for customers! That little bone head kept getting the orders wrong so the business probably lost a lot of money due to refunds, but those were the best 5 hours of my kids life. Sorry about breaking the soda machine I really didn’t know about pushing all of the buttons at once.“

Relieved to find that it was open and was greeted by an amazing associate that I came to title “Mr Jersey Mike “ as he was a rockstar! He looked like a very young Michael J Fox ! As I said it was my first time and I was accompanied by 2 disabled gentleman that I was treating for dinner. It was Saturday early evening June 1st and I’m hoping you can check your payroll records and give recognition to this incredible helpful knowledgeable and polite dude ! He knew his stuff and made recommendations that were fabulous! The staff working with him were a great team and I left a good tip. Please acknowledge these young men. Their work ethic and professionalism with disabled adults is really worthy of notating! The world hasn’t really had a great work ethic since Covid and these dudes are changing that ! “I've decided to ditch the Subway app. I don't find this app to be of any great convenience and it's too time consuming to get them to work properly. I'm hoping I can get a gift card that I can use for points purposes. Besides the app, I think Jersey Mike's is stiff competition for Subway as far as portion size goes and the amount of meat/cheese on sandwiches. There are some Subways that will not accept coupons like the one in Central Islip on Carleton Ave. I walk out and won't patronize that location. Otherwise, the Subway experience is good.“
