“Well, if you've been following any of my other bar reviews, you know I'm not a high-end kind of guy. I wouldn't say Captain Jack's is a dive... It's just very comfortable. Come as you are. Not pretentious at all. Love that. That whole little area by the bay has just got a really nice vibe. It's a great place to sit outside during the boating season. I may be a little bit partial because I play music and I've had the opportunity to play there. So yeah, they sometimes have entertainment. That's always a lot of fun. I'm not sure who my waitress was, but the service was absolutely outstanding last visit. Didn't wait or want for anything. I was surprised at the prices. Cost me almost a hundred bucks for lunch. But I spared no expense on the 4 excellent Prison City IPA beers, and two fish fries were pretty good. That was 77 and I threw in a 20 tip. I haven't had any problem with the food quality; the last two times I've eaten there it was delicious. Lots of choices. It's a nice ride to Sodus Bay. Check it out.“
“This is a country restaurant type feeling, the food is consistently good and their salad bar is outstanding. The salad bar is VERY fresh and immaculately kept, tons of variety, always a soup and fresh bread as well. You will be impressed for the reasonable cost, it is worth the drive. Last but not least, Wednesday they usually have a prime rib special that is a true value!“

“Always outstanding. Bay Street is a guaranteed great experience, not just a meal. You start with an extensive offering of martinis and Manhattans complimented by a remarkable wine list. The appetizers and entrées are far from the "bar and grill" offerings available elsewhere in the area. Everything is fresh and prepared to order. Intertwined with the food is truly professional service. Of course such an experience is not cheap, but it is worth every penny, especially when you have something to really celebrate. Make your reservation early so their availability can match your schedule.“
