“The sauce for the Filet Mignon Banh Mi was too sweet. The server explained that most American customers like sweet sauce. So I exchanged my sandwich for a Vietnamese Shrimp Summer Roll. The shrimp was clean and fresh, but the noodles were soggy.I will be back to try the Short Rib Banh Mi with a low sugar level. The service here was excellent!“
“I ordered some chickens and sides last Sunday. Food was good except the sweet potato fries that was overcooked. The original extra crispy chicken was 5/5. It was good with mild Sweet and spicy sauce on the side. The soy garlic wings was 3.5/5. It is because wings were too small. The chicken thighs was 4/5. I didn't like that chicken thighs were chopped in small pieces. Also, extra crispy breading would've been better than the original breading.French fries 5/5, mochi cheese donuts 5/5, Onion rings 5/5, Sweet potato fries 2/5.Overall, I would definitely reorder from the Pelicana, Plainview for sure. Hope they do better on Sweet potatoes fries next time.“
“We came on a weekend nightWe had shrimp tempura 3/5Shrimp dumplings 3/5Shrimp gyoza looking 1/5 (not sure if it’s gyoza, but it was fried)Fried calamari 5/5 must tryShrimp udon 3.5/5Scallion pancake 5/5 must tryChicken Katsura bento 3/5Everything was good but the fried ahrimp gyoza looking onesWe were so hungry that I wasn’t able to capture everything.Staff was ok, I usually rate the bathroom but didn’t see it when we visited. We’d return and try other things and get the calamari and scallion pancake again“
“Hidden in the Corner Mall and found it by mistake but what a hidden treasure ! Best in the area ! Great Drinks A+ Owner pays special attention to service: I don’t go anywhere else for sit down Asian food (Split Menu) Won’t be disappointed:-)“
“Great Desi style chinese food. The lady in the front is very nice and friendly. Cook is amazing , specially the Chinese dishes, Desi dishes are also good. Price is perfect, portion is good. Can’t go wrong with this family owned small restaurant. Their quality is consistent.“
“Every restaurant has some bad days and the food was not up to par when our party of 9 came in for dinner. What we appreciated was our server who was amazing, very kind and attentive. The manager, Natalie who was genuinely concerned about the poor quality of food, timing and flat beverages went above and beyond to fix the situation. Excellent manager, because of her we will return.“
“So I'm in this shopping center often but this is my first time at Kirazu Sushi. There are about 3 dine in table plus a few seats at the sushi bar. I sat at the sushi bar with my husband. It was a busy night, lots of takeout orders and all tables filled. I really liked the vibe of the restaurant-fun music playing you want to sing along to. All other customers were returning customers, the owner greeted many by first name. Lovely waitress who was kind and the sushi chef was non stop making sushi for everyone. The staff running the restaurant said it was a busy night so the sushi might take a little longer. It wasn't an issue at all because it was so nice listening to the music they had playing on a stereo and we ordered and enjoying our night. Once the food was served, I thought my sushi was great. I'm a lover of a dragon roll and sushi sandwich and the sushi chef did a great job with the ratio of all ingredients and flavors. I was really pleased with my meal and so was my husband. Overall, it's a great spot for a casual sushi dinner for locals of the neighborhood to enjoy. I will be back!!Thanks for a great experience“
“If you're on the lookout for the best low-key sushi spot Long Island has to offer, look no further. This hidden gem exceeded my expectations with its unassuming charm and exceptional sushi. The laid-back atmosphere complements the outstanding quality of the sushi, making it a go-to spot for those who appreciate great food without the fuss. A true hidden treasure for sushi enthusiasts on Long Island.“
“A true dining experience in an amazing & calming aquatic underwater atmosphere. We came early to sit at the bar before dinner. Jillian and Nader attended to our drinks, and the owner Syed even visited us to chat. The Manager, Michael, introduced himself and spoke with us for awhile! This restaurant treats you like family, the food is outrageously good, and the Servers will fall over you from all different directions! WE WILL BE BACK SOON!!! VERY SOON!“
“Came here on a Friday night craving sushi with my wife. We ordered the 3 classic rolls plus an additional which came with one soup. We ordered miso soup with it which I was going to give to my wife. But he came and brought us 2 soups! One free! He was so kind and service was amazing. Will DEFINITELY be coming back. Also love the interior of this place so nice and cozy!“
“This spot was where I had the most delicious ramen I’ve tasted in my life, from all the ramen places I’ve ever been to, and that’s a lot.The fact that I could choose the noodles and condiments I wanted made the food spectacular. I tried another ramen spot and wished I had just come here instead. And it’s cheaper too!The only con would be the restroom unavailability. Other than that, it's a cute spot to eat in or take out. I did the takeout.“
“Been a while since I've been here and was pleasantly surprised how good everything was. Sushi is very fresh, had smoked salmon which was excellent. Chicken Satay was grilled perfectly without any over seasoning. Service was great to go with a beautiful internet. 4.5 stars Will return“
“Recently moved into the area. Having been trying to find a Chinese place with edible food. This must be the fifth place we tried. I wish it was the first. The food is tasty, and the restaurant is clean. Will be my go-to Chinese food from now on. Now, if I could just find a solid bagel place and pizzeria in the area, I'd be set.“
“Our family loves Masa. We order talk out all the time and have dined in . Everything we have ordered is outstanding. It is our go to for Japanese food. It blows Mito out of the water.Best Japanese in Babylon.Excellent service inside restaurant and with delivery.“
“First time going here, walked in and placed a decent sized order ($110.00) and was told 40 minutes. On the expensive side and long side of wait times for Chinese food, but ok. Wound up waiting 57 minutes for food to come out. They seem to need more help. All that being said, all the food that we ordered was fresh and delicious. On the expensive side for the portion size, but I would definitely go back as well as recommend this place.“
“I always enjoy dinner at akebono. The sushi has always been great, as is the service. Patty makes each visit special. You can't go wrong with any of their rolls. As for apps, we always get the spicy tuna tartar, but recently we also tried their garlic edamame. It was delicious and we'll probably be ordering two appetizers from now on.“
“The sushi quality here is very good along with a super aesthetic plating. Everything we got was good and we left no crumbs. We ordered Chirashi, sushi deluxe, spicy tuna roll and a panhandle roll. Good place but restaurant is not very large but has seating. Over all cute and good quality restaurant. Will definitely come back!“
“Food was amazing and still hot, Xiomara was so nice, my card wasn’t going through and I was starving so she gave me a pass and gave me the food because my debit card was declining and the people there were so nice and respectful so I recommend coming “
“We met with friends at this spot for a meeting. we heard about this spot from many people. Well, it was a winning. The staff welcomed us with a smile and we felt fantastic. The meal was tasty. We enjoyed every moment and we will definitely return to this restaurant. We recommend this place to all.“
“This place is phenomenal. It’s Valentine’s Day (and Ash Wednesday) it’s swamped. I ordered take out and once I get home the bag split and my sushi went all over the floor. I was shattered at this point because I was moments away from have a perfect night with my partner. I called them and without hesitation they remade my order as quickly as possible. Thank you so much Liki for accommodating me on one of your busiest days of the year. This place has amazing food and great service. 10/10 recommend.“
“Such a wonderful spot in the south Huntington / Melville area. The staff were all so inviting and the restaurant was beautiful and clean. The food was great. Started with the lobster tacos. Really good amount of lobster, good crunch, and the sweet mango sauce was a good combination. For my main, I got the Farmingdale roll. The combo of the spicy yellowtail, and the pepper tuna and pepper salmon worked so well. I really enjoy the peppered fish. The sauces on top weren't overpowering either. This really is a nice spot to go. Great for a casual sit down or even a date night.Parking: Lots of parking.“
“State of the art professionalism!!I have always called-in to make custom orders that have come out right each and every time. Excellent quality ingredients that are utilized.??Customer service & quality of food both get 10 out of 10 for sure from myself??“
“No its not only a sushi restaurant. We didnt have a single sushi but whatever we had was sumptuous, delicious and extremely carefully made. I will run out of words. We had walnut shrimp with chicken and beef negimaki. They were soooo good.“
“Stumbled across this wonderful place because many surrounding sushi places weren't open at 1 on a Sunday. So glad we ended up here. The food was delicious top notch service. They overheard we were celebrating a birthday and they brought out an ice dessert with a sparkler! It was a pleasant surprise. We'll definitely be back!“
“I am a regular at Taka and there’s a reason for it. The sushi is consistently top notch and the service is excellent! I’ve had almost everything on the menu and there wasn’t one dish I did not thoroughly enjoy. Amy, the owner is always hands-on and definitely knows how to run a restaurant as good as anyone does.“
“One of the best tasting, freshest sushi spots I've been to yet.I order out here at least 2 times a month, and I've never been disappointed by ANY of the food. The regular rolls are great, the special rolls are perfect, and the appetizer or small plates are fantastic. One of my absolute favorite rolls was the pepper tuna. Try it, you won't be disappointed.Parking: Small lot at the restaurant and extra night lot across the street.“
“Best hibachi around lately, just be aware they have a lot of birthday parties so the lights will occasionally go dim and they'll start playing birthday music and all that. If you can get past that the food is great, a decent value among hibachi restaurants, and very generous proportions, especially with the fried rice.“
“Hands down my favorite spot on Long Island. Yes, out of everything. The food is out of this world amazing, like a Japanese gastro pub sushi hole in the wall; the staff are incredibly welcoming, attentive, and knowledgeable about the dishes and sake; and the place just has a great vibe. I highly recommend the omakase "Arata Sushi." Just go all in and get the 10 piece. You've never had anything like it. Perfect 10/10, and 11/10 with rice.“
“The food is good, the music is just too loud . Because the server is wearing a mask, with the music so loud. We can't hear her, and she didn't understand us. But when we got it together, the food is good. They give you a lot for the money.“
“The manager Cindy is sweet, personable and extremely accommodating as is the waitress also named Cindy. Their sushi is always fresh and the amount of fish in the nigiri and rolls are amazing!!!!As a sushi lover and a personal chef, I highly recommend this secret gem. They are located on the west side of Broadway/Greenlawn Rd., on the same side of the street as 7-11, within a small group of stores. Not to be confused with the other Japanese across the street. That's a completely different story.PS. They have a sushi roll special that's really amazing as a quick takeout.“
“4.9/5.0Been looking for a very good Chinese takeout place near home. We finally found it. We will be regulars here.Beef with Garlic sauce - 5/5. Beef is a bit thicker cut but still tender. Flavors are spot on 5/5.General Tso Chicken - 4.9/5. It’s long strips of white meat chicken surrounded by a thick batter approximately 3-4mm thickness. It’s too thick, should be lightly coated, half meat and half batter. Outside is very crispy. The sauce is a bit sweet than I like.Thai Curry Chicken - 5/5. I usually don’t like this dish, my wife loves it. But with this dish, I couldn’t stop eating it. Flavor is 5/5, one of the best I had so far. Sauce is thicker than usual but I think it works for this dish, more flavor instead of the liquidity sauce other takeout places make it.Egg rolls. 4.0/5. Very crispy on outside. Flavor is 4.5/5. What makes this dish rated poorly is the filling, it’s mushy. Had far worse egg rolls but wish it wasn’t mushy. Flavor is certainly there. There are 3 tables for dine in, two 4 seaters, one 2 seater. If you dine in, you’ll get thick Dixie/Walmart generic quality disposable plates, not the flimsy pizza paper plates or styrofoam plates like many other places serve. Utensils also nice decent quality that you can actually use to cut meat with, not the thin plastic flimsy knives that bend.Service was top notch considering for a takeout place, guy brought out the food twice on a tray as it was ready. Other places just simply say food ready for pick up.“
“I love the food at Wild ginger. Tonight I order the crunchy salmon roll, hibachi fried rice shrimp and a sex on the beach. The drink wasn't the best but it wasn't bad either there not really known for their drinks. The service was pretty good and efficient. The restaurant isn't super big but it accommodates everyone. I also like the atmosphere in the restaurant.“
“We recently catered an event with Cotillion, and both we and our guests were delighted with the service. The food was not only fresh and delicious but also featured a wide variety of dishes, including live-grilled options and fresh Naan. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the meal, and we highly recommend the Cotillion restaurant.“
“I have come here about four times in the past two years since moving to the area. In all those visits I find it hard to see how this restaurant isn’t rated even higher.Every time they have been nothing but nice, courteous, professional and great service. Their restaurant has an amazing chill lounge type atmosphere, beautiful decor, with their own original music playing. All the dishes we have ordered are always on the money, fresh and delicious. If I could make one criticism it would be their portions are slightly small. Thats being said we always leave their full, satisfied and happy,… just with no leftovers which is probably better off calorie-wise anyway lol.Note: If you like spicy flavors, ask for their hot spicy oil on the side. Has to be the hottest Asian hot oil I have ever had. But I love that stuff so bring it on!Definitely worth a try if you haven’t yet! The trendy layout of this place would make for great parties too!“
“Wow what an entirely pleasant surprise pit stop for a little bit of wonton soup tonight which happened to be amazing just a broth in itself amazing I followed that up with some sauteed bean sprouts and some shrimp shoe Mai made fresh to order so delicious I will definitely be visiting them again. Not just kind service but reasonably priced and a very clean kitchen“
