“I order Chinese style fried rice n pepper shrimp lowmein omg it’s was so good…excellent staff… great service…best food ever I had in the pass years …I highly recommended Caribbean food hut to everyone…trust me …n guys try them food..“
“I’ve been coming to Rolo’s since they first opened and they really never disappoint. The food just gets better and better. Everything is amazing but my hands down favorite is the shrimp. I’d say it’s easily some of if not the best shrimp I’ve ever had in my life. The whole menu just compliments itself from the Calabrian chili butter to the wagyu steak. Also, Sitting in the back of the restaurant is such a cool experience because you get to watch the chefs work their magic on that wood fire grill. This is definitely one of the best restaurants in NYC and in my top 5.“
“I came here for the 1st time during restaurant week & I cannot wait to return back to try the rest of the menu. The staff & atmosphere was friendly & welcoming, you could tell locals come all the time. Everything I ordered was tasty, but the star of the show was my main entree, Moqueca (Brazilian fish stew with tomatoes, pepper, onions & coconut milk) - It was both comforting and flavorful. The fish was cooked to perfection (soft, tender & flaked easily with my fork), the coconuts milk stew was rich & robust in flavor, with a smooth enough consistency to coat your spoon. In summary, it was chefs kiss! ?“
“The only good bar in the entire neighborhood, and great overall. It's the oldest bar in NYC (aside from one in Wall St.) - You might recognize it from GoodFellas.Worth going out of your way for the history, and worth coming to just because. They play the sports games with the volume on. Have to love it.“
“Early March my and wife and I held a baby shower there. They were extremely accommodating with us and our guest. They also were very friendly and it worked out very well. We had families and most of the ladies at the tables and we had filled the bar with our drinkers and younger crowd.Music was good/ food was good / service was great! Anne was such a great manager worked hand in hand with our coordinator to make that day such a great experience.Overall 10/10 would highly recommend your next event there.“
“This place has great food. The service was awesome, too. Parking can be difficult to find, however. What makes this place stand out is the waterfront views you get. The food items we ordered to try here were the spinach and artichoke dip, fried chicken sandwich, and a grilled chicken wrap. Everything was excellent. The dip had great flavor. My favorite of these 3 items was the fried chicken sandwich. Loved how it was prepared. But everything we tasted we would recommend. We had a fun time hanging out here.“
“CASH ONLY SPOT! A good summer/spring spot to hang out outdoors to have a nice beer with a nice view. Its self service, so you order your own drinks at the bar. Not a lot of seatings so I suggest getting here early if you want to secure a seat.“
“Unexpected stop at Abe's for a quick drink before Brooklan. Very cool laid back vibe. So when you sit in a seat like the one I took a picture of below no one comes up to you. That's the only downside to service. You'd have to go up to the bar and order. Drinks were pretty good for happy hour. The food was even better! Buffalo wings were sooo tasty and HUGE, which is so worth it. The chicken sandwich was also very good. I will say that salad blows all of it out the water! Not only was it all so fresh, it was huge! I just never expected Sugar Snap Pea, Edamame, Red Watercress, Pea Tendrils, Horseradish, Black Sesame, & Yuzu Kosho Ranch to be such a mind blowing combo! 10/10 recommend!“
“I tried the place for the 1st time around 1 week ago. I've been back again I really enjoyed the chicken wings and my smashed bacon cheeseburger I tried a beer called a Cloud in the Sky it was awesome I will definitely be eating there again“
“I have been here twice and both times I had an amazing time! The food here is great! I have had the brisket sandwich, the steak tidbit sandwich and the French dip sandwich, all comes with French fried that are so deliciously yummy as well. I will most definitely be coming back and trying out the rest of the menu! Stay tuned for more!“
“Delicious food once again. Chicken wrap was lightly toasted and stuffed. Took home half. Others in our party had Caesar salad w/grilled chicken. Very generous portion. And, turkey burger so thick and juicy it required both hands to manage. Recommend Doc Watson’s for food and service.“
“I love stopping by while I'm in Queens. Now that I have discovered they have an Elf mural and a resident (of sorts) French bulldog with his own barstool, this is a must stop while visiting this neighborhood. Super laidback and the drinks are cold and flowing. The staff wants to ensure a good experience! Live music when I was there on a Friday early evening. Cheers!“
“Your own little slice of Commodore in Greenpoint! Food is just as good and drinks are also. Cozy little bar with a ski lodge theme and a huge lit up screen of Glacier National Park behind the bar giving off those The Shining Vibes. Backyard and side walk seating as well. The Cadillac Nachos and Queso are classics, the Spinach and Mushroom Quesadilla is a newer addition but one of my favs. The Commodore is the classic Pina Colada. You can do a shot and beer combo with just about anything. Prices can't be beat.“
“I used to make fun of Tip Top when I'd walk by. Unassuming is an understatement. One night when we were already a bit buzzed we went here as a joke. I can't explain it, but... this bar is kind of magical? Incredible patio. Immaculate vibes. Now it's one of our favorite spots.“
“Second time at the Bayhouse and it was okay. Bayhouse is definitely a good place to go for a nice view. You can see the water from every part of the restaurant. I got the boiled seafood combo that contained flounder, shrimp, broccoli and potatoes. It was definitely breaded and topped with a lemon sauce. Flavor is definitely there, but I will say the sauce was very oily. Crème brûlée cheesecake was 10/10!! Overall the food was good. Although our server was nice service was very slow.“
“when we got to the front door of this place, the bartender came out and opened the door to welcome us. We were just going to stay for one drink, but we stayed much longer. Everybody was so friendly, and the drinks are really really generous. what a great dive bar!“
“Plug Uglies was formerly Bar Coastal which I never stepped foot Into. I came here for some belated birthday drinks. When I got there it was not crowded at all. I ordered a Moscow Mule and I must say it was tasty. I ordered a sierra Nevada Hazy IPA next. The bartender was very nice. The space is great has plenty of seating. In the other part of the bar there is a shuffle board game. This is a great bar to come gather with friends for some food and drinks for sports game or just a weekend of fun. They have a few tvs here too. They supposedly have great wings here too with many different flavors. I did not get a chance to try them out though. Maybe next time.“
“Seafood allergy havers rejoice you have finally found somewhere you can eat fried food!! Their wings are delicious, the mozzarella triangles are a must have, and if you like pretzels the giant pretzel is amazing! Justin, our server and the bartender, was incredibly nice. We will be returning regularly.Dietary restrictions: They have no seafood at all!“
“Always a great experience the wings are phenomenal and the service is amazing shout out to Jessica, Alexa, and Lee amazing Bartenders and the cooking staff is unbeatable. And the owners are welcoming and awesome. This place is a great find and will have my business for as long as they are open.“
“Love coming on here with friends, love the music, food and drinks. Great atmosphere hangout. When it comes to enjoying a great atmosphere and having a wonderful time, few things can compare to the combination of good music, delicious food, and refreshing drinks. The combination of great music, delicious food, and refreshing drinks creates a fantastic atmosphere for hanging out and having a good time at Tipsy.“
“Truly a gem in Harlem. Great lunch for a ridiculously low price. A cocktail was even included in the price of a burger! The live jazz music made this a fantastic experience. Highly recommend this place if you’re visiting Harlem!Vegetarian options: I had a black bean vegetarian burger and it was amazingly tasty“
“So this place is a neighborhood pub with surprisingly good food, well poured drinks, and a nice draft beer selection. The crowd is a mixed bunch of folks from all walks of life and friendly. It has been here a long time and is a popular hangout for good reason.“
“This place was such a treasure to find! Solid drink selection. The real gem though is that they have a good news bell for people celebrating! The bartender asked what brought us in and it was a friend’s birthday, but my partner and I are also engaged and getting married in April, as was another couple there with us that night. We all got a shout out, had celebratory shots, and it was so much fun! I absolutely love the good news bell. It’s also fun even if you yourself aren’t celebrating something to have those pleasant reminders of good things happening in others’ lives. I know it might sound cheesy when I say it like that, but it was really nice! They also have a nice patio in the back and shuffleboard in the main bar area. Highly recommend, will be back!“
“I had a great time at Chateau Yaffa. It's a cozy place with a nice mix of European and Mediterranean styles. The restaurant felt welcoming with its soft lights and ambiance. The food was amazing! They use fresh ingredients for their wide range of dishes. I had the Shish Kebab and Prime Ribeye Steak that smelled delicious and that was cooked perfectly. The service was also great. The staff were friendly, and helpful, and knew a lot about the menu and drinks. They helped me choose the best dishes and beer. For dessert, I had a Napoleon cake, which was the perfect end to the meal. Overall, this restaurant is fantastic. The food, atmosphere, and service are all top-notch. It's a must-visit for anyone who loves European and Mediterranean food.“
“Today I'll give them 4* , very fast delivery, they follow all my instructions regarding delivery and finally- food was amazing. Octopus salad was cooked very well, not like rubber, salad was fresh- cherry tomatoes, olives , everything was perfect paired. Also I ordered fresh pineapple juice and it's delicious. I would like to order it again.“
“My favorite bar in Queens! Great food, great drinks and always a good time. Juan (the owner) is always good to us and makes sure we are taken care of during crazy hours. If I had to choose 1 bar to spend my time at in NYC, Id pick sunswick everyday of the week.“
“i love this place! i live around the corner and often pop in for a quick drink or for food. the food is delicious (hello fries??) and the staff is friendly, they handle the double duty of bartending and serving attentively and kindly. can get busy on the weekends but always great vibes. great local spot!!“
“I go to a lot of places and love to drink Sangria. Sapoara is the only place where I know you cannot go wrong with Either Red or White Sangria. It is always made to perfection. Love this place. Fave food: all of the Steaks and Lamb chops on the menu.“
“Highly recommend their burgers. I got the Smoking Musket this time. The patty was very juicy. It goes very well with the texture of thick bacon. Love it! The pizza Margherita was also pretty good. I love the thin crust and the slightly sour tomato sauce.“
“We met for a birthday bite at West Bar and Lounge. Don't let the location fool you. It may not be as lucrative as dining in Soho, but it's still a great neighborhood, and it's quite easy to get there. When you first walk in, it's dimly lit, so don't complain. Your eyes will adjust. We went in a few minutes after it opened, so you'll catch the staff still prepping for the day.We were greeted by a waitress and seated. We ordered our drinks (they were great! I recommend the hurricane) while we viewed the menu. We decided on the crab dip with chips and crab legs for appetizers. For the main course, we ordered ribeye steak with smashed? (mashed) potatoes and broccoli and lamb chops with wild rice and asparagus, and a side of Mac cheese. Believe me when I tell you, the food was absolutely delicious ?. Every morsel was a delightful bite.Thank you to our waitress for great service. The bartender for outstanding drinks and the chef for the amazing food.“
“Great bar food in a great atmosphere. My husband and I end up here for dinner at least once a week and always have a good time. Bartenders are nice, we love the mug club, and the food is consistent.Kid-friendliness: We see lots of kids in here in the earlier hours of the day!“
“A nice local pub. The food I had before they replaced the kitchen was always on point but haven't had anything since then. The staff has always been welcoming and friendly. Drink prices and in line with the area. A good hangout spot to catch up with friends.“
“Libre Garden is a social establishment with a nice size backyard. Great menu and fabulous drinks. You can listen to whatever Your heart desires from the jukebox. The front entrance has sliding glass windows, sit and enjoy the sunlight. Libre is well known for private events. Check it out“
“A group of us went to celebrate a birthday and the staff was so accommodating, from the DJ booth with the bday shout out to the sparkle candle & free shot from the bar. We were only there for 2 hrs & it was awesome. The DJ was blasting hits and the bartender, Lauren was so attentive. We didn't order any food but the service & atmosphere was great. The cocktails were great. Thank you for a great time, Lauren and team! ☺“
“Very Friendly Staff and caters to all their customers. A wide open Concept inside and clean.. The food is good, Plantain chips are amazing. Price for Drinks and bucket deals are good. Dj's chosen for keeping everyone entertained plays different kind of music to everyone liking.“
“The food was amazing! Would definitely recommend doing the bottomless brunch where you can choose mimosa, Bloody Mary, or Margarita and it’s a good price. The chicken and waffles were my favorite dish but everything we tried was delicious. The restaurant looks a lot nicer in pictures and it’s more of a bar feel when you’re there. Also, it gets a little loud in there because the tables are pretty close together. But wasn’t a big deal and could still hold a conversation“
“Been coming here for a while now, prices are good nothing out of pocket. The events they have are fun depending what you into. Food is A1 their empanadas are amazing, so is their Irish nachos and shepherds pie. Their food specials are always good as well. Variety of beers and other beverages. Bartenders always nice and professional if you new to drinking and ask for their recommendations they never let you down.“
“Unfortunately the kitchen was closed when I got there. Jay, the bartender, was excellent sold the experience to me. Mind you it was a Monday. They have a full bar, food and hookah! ATM, clean bathroom and beautiful atmosphere this definitely the “third place” you were looking for! I will be back.Parking: Very limited street parking.“
“I had a very delicious French onion soup and an order of sliders, that were very filling. The service was very good. Each waitress who came by smiled and said hi ?. There was a small party in the backyard. It looks like a great venue to host an event. I would go back!“
“Great bustling place me and my friends found(friendship bbq lol) it was completely random night, looking for something to eat no research before hand. When we walked thru the ramp and then opened the doors we were so surprised how busy it was.Because of that the service wasn’t that great. We had no idea what we were in for. You order on an iPad then they bring out the skewers. We were completely clueless but once we started to eat, girlllll it was so delicious! The top 3 things I’d recommend are the corn ,Mongolian beef and fried rice. The raw beef is suppose to be eaten raw. We weren’t feeling risky enough to eat it like that so we ended up waiting a good while for them to cook(never again).Drinks weren’t so fueled with alcohol, i personally like mines strong. I saw the team sing the most epic happy birthday song! After we were done I went to the bathroom where there was mouthwash! Completely blown away. We got free dessert by the time we were leaving! I can’t wait to go back to try more things!“
“Super cute divey spot! Popped in for an afternoon drink and their food menu caught our eye - the kitchen is slingin' some serious heat! Our friendly bartender made us some incredible spicy palomas with a fermented serrano mixture that they make in-house, insanely delicious and well-balanced. A fantastic price point for the large format beverage as well! Ordered cheesy corn fritters that came with a nųoc chom reminiscent sauce that wasn't the exact same thing but same energy - a little sweet, little sour, little heat, little funk... a LOT of flavor. The sisig chopped cheese was KILLER too! Came with fresh cut fries that were the perfect texture. Order a side of their charred scallion aioli for the fries, it slaps!!“
“Came here last night for some drinks and dinner, was super pleased with the experience. We got there a little early, so the place wasn't packed. The drinks were delicious! Definitely hit the spot. The Mr Dre burger was huge and delicious. The chimi was on point and really large for only $6. The only complaint is that the chicken teriyaki was a bit on the saltier side. Aside from drinks and food they also have hookah and a DJ so the place is definitely popping on a Saturday night. Worth the visit!“
“What a blast at starlight tavern. Been for a birthday party , and for a relaxing December evening with friends. Although I did walk in on this freak who would not lock the bathroom door, and I did find a man passed out on the skee ball table (EMTs came, he was just catatonic after losing a $10 bet on the game) I always have a great time here. Helpful staff. Drinks sort of pricey but par for the neighborhood, 8 dollar drafts etc.“
“California rolled through and Brooklyn said SkeeYeee ?????✨???Update 9.22.23: I really love the community here. I learned some really cool music and I'm making great strides in my life back here in California. Thank you Richard's Bar for showing me a good time and showing me some true wisdom at the same time ??????Vegetarian options: Rice and beans. Also the salad is amazing - something good about that dressingKid-friendliness: Clean, safe and friendly environment. Very professional staff.“
“Cute neighborhood bar with a backyard. The bartender Lena, I believe, is quiet, but she's cool. There's plenty of space to throw a get-together as they were when I walked in. The drinks are good; I had the blue lagoon, the Tokyo tea, and a rum punch. My bf had the jungle bird, which was also good. There's a happy hour from 5-7 and $1 wings all night. I ordered the garlic parmesean and the sweet teriyaki wings. The wings were overdone and fried too hard. The garlic parmasean needed to be tossed in more garlic mixed in butter for the taste. There was a live singer and we thought he was there every Thursday but it turns out he was there for the party; he was good and we enjoyed the vibe. Mondays and Fridays are karaoke, and Sundays is Jazz night, we were told by Lena. They played good music after the live singer left.I will definitely go back now that i have somewhere i can hang near by. And I look forward to Jazz night on Sunday.“
“Good little tavern. Food was perfectly fine - good burger. Prices were as you would expect for a non-fancy bar in a non-fancy borough.Staff was friendly and chatty. The only thing that didn't go smoothly was that they take cards but only cash tips, and I had very little cash on me so I under-tipped. I wish they had told me when I ordered.Good place.“
“We made sheva brochas on 12/31/23 My first time there. It was set up beautifully, clean and enough space for 35 people The food was outrageously delicious and plentiful service was great polite and very accommodating. You should all try it you will not regret it.Parking: U will always find a stop“
“This is my go to spot in the east,Ray is the best and the atmosphere is friendly. Never experienced a bad vibe or nothing. Drinks are good and they have drink specials. Food is excellent, I like the fried whiting and fries, shrimps are good as well as the rasta pasta. Wings are my second go too.. Come vibe to some great tunes. Only thing I noticed is the female bartenders charging taxe on all my $10 drink specials even tho im paying cash which is kinda weird.“
“This place is a neighborhood gem and i will be back, the food and drinks are well within the budget for how great it was, i had the grilled chicken quessadillas which i fully recommend, and 6 bbq wings with my beer, the food was over the top good, the quesadillas werent sloppy messes filled with cheese and skimp on the meat compared to other places like calexico, the wings were juicy and tender with a delicious sweet bbq sauce, and above all the food was plated beautifully on premium white china like a five star place which i was impressed with, watched the cowboys get murdered by the packers on two big screens, the only down side is that in winter the space is pretty limited with the patio closed but if its an intimate sort of setting you want for a date this place is more than perfect.“
“We visited casually on a Saturday night and it turned into such a fun night! We knew they only serve beer or wine which is fine because the vibe they strives for is chill, laid back and catching up with friends. The owner Rick was so friendly and showed great customer service. They had a variety of beers to choose from which was great. My favorite thing and I know anyone who drinks beer will appreciate is how damn cold the beer was! Kudos for getting that right! Just picture an ice cold beer on a hot summer Saturday night, perfection! It is in my neighborhood and I will definitely recommend to anyone for a super chill vibe, hang out spot.“
