“Famous pizza has always been our go-to place for pizza and more, for many years! Most recently, Perry and his staff were able to accommodate a group of 9 for a birthday celebration - when the kid wants Famous, you get Famous. The staff had a large table set up and reserved (on a Saturday night) and our pizzas literally came out of the oven as we walked in the restaurant! We were checked on frequently and well taken care of. Another reason why Famous is truly the best in town!“

“I recently left a negative review. I immediately received a phone call regarding my review which welcomed me to let them know if I was unhappy with my food as well as a credit. I thought that was excellent customer service, not too often found anymore. I went this evening and not only received my credit but an additional pizza as well. “Food is always amazing, and I will never stop going there, but one thing confuses me. Every time I order a gluten free meal for takeout, there is a giant hunk of bread in the bag. With the gluten free meal. After calling and indicating a gluten allergy. So my wife has to remove the bread and clean the container before I can eat. It's worth the trouble, but it seems like a no-brainer that when someone orders gluten free, there shouldn't be bread in the bag.“

“Gisellas has been our favorite go to Italian restaurant in DANBURY since it opened. Food is always delicious and consistent and the wait staff couldn’t be more accommodating. Unfortunately last night we had a different experience the moment we walked in the door. Hostess was very unfriendly and dismissive, no eye contact and acted like she was doing us a favor seating us! Thankfully, like always, the rest of our dining experience was amazing!“

“I’m a tenant in the 400 plus units at Abbey Woods - just a mile from the restaurant and definitely NOT in favor of your delivery policy.
I have to meet your driver 3 stories down at the front door because they will not come in the building to deliver/ your place is the restaurant in town that has this ridiculous idea of how to do business! It definitely affects me as to where I’m going to order from as I’m sure other tenants feel the same way.
Having said that - I think I just had the BEST meatball grinder that I’ve had in years.
I think I would use you more often if only you allowed your delivery folks to use the elevator 🤔🤔“

“I have not dined in at Wonder, but I have ordered from one of their restaurants, Hanu Poke, using Uber Eats many times, and the portions are always very good and the food is always fresh and tasty. My only issue is that whenever I order poke, it always seems like they are out of ingredients, and I find myself not ordering exactly what I wanted because I have to substitute so many things. Even at times and days of the week when you’d think they wouldn’t be that busy, it seems like there is always something that they are running out of here. I understand that in having so many different options in one place, it can be difficult to keep ingredients in stock, but oftentimes the amount of food that they do not offer on certain days is very disappointing.“

“Just left a crazy Thursday night at IL Forno. What a fun and enjoyable evening we had. We walked in with no reservations and the manager snuck us right in and we even got to the listen to an amazing singer. We have been here a few times, this was by far the most fun we had. Everyone was laughing. The staff which seems to be plenty was having a good time. The manager and Owners kept walking around and making sure all was good and everyone was happy. We all know there’s two things that make a good pizza, dough and sauce, and Joe’s has both nailed down tight! My other big favorite is grandma‘s meatballs, they have an extraordinary flavor. It’s obvious that they take an unmatched pride in their work. The staff is always kind and attentive. You don't get that kind of value anywhere close to here, and that's why they just locked me in as a customer. Lots of working people passing by on their way or to and from the next gig. “TakeOut Pizza. I am a real foody. Come from NYC. This is the closest thing to NYC pizza I've had since moving to Putnam, then Westchester, and now Fairfield county. Always on time for take out. Pizza well made. Any issues are resolved without difficulty and with apologies. LOVE IT. I have not tried any other meals since I am a home chef and eat this pizza when in a pinch.“
