“Being a Bronx Italian girl, let me tell you this place is the place to be. I’ve been here 3 times and they do not disappoint. I met the owner the first time I came in, he was a chef in Westchester and it shows. Chicken parmigiana was thin, crispy and amazing. Penne aldente. Grilled chicken arugula salad fantastic. Garlic knots so good. And the zeppoles, let me tell you, the most amazing zeppoles ever. I have an allergy to shellfish and the owner (who is the chef) made sure he cooked my cutlet seperate. I appreciate that more than anything else! I don’t live in Carmel anymore, I live in Dutchess county but work down here and will keep returning. I hope they do well!“

“I’m trying to put into words how absolutely incredible brunch at @jlawrencect was. If I had to rate from 0 - 10, I’d give it a 10 without any hesitation. @jlawrencect just recently opened so their space is brand new and beautifully decorated! The drinks were perfectly made, the food was delicious (seriously the tastiest brunch food I’ve had yet!) and the staff made our experience and time there wonderful! My top picks Drink - J. “The vodka Sicilian pizza is where it’s at!!!! I mistakenly only ordered one pizza and now I’m left with none because my sons ate it all! That’s my favorite slice from there and I grew up in bethel eating Famous, I love the owners! They’re super humble and friendly, love to see them doing well ?“

“The food was very good but the service was not! From past experience we knew that the entrees at Siena were served much too quickly after the appetizers so we requested that the process be slowed down. The waiter agreed. However, sure enough, before one person in our party had finished his salad, the entrees appeared. The waiter apologized. One can only conclude that the chef has a mind of his own and does not know proper dining etiquette. This experience was in addition to the assistant server removing a cocktail from the table before the person was even finished. He wasn't asked if he was done. She just moved in, swiped the drink, and took off.“

“Love this place, when my father was around this was the only place he would eat pizza from. We recently celebrated the 12 year mark since his passing and my family gathered here and flooded the place in memory of him. They were able to accommodate us and it was greatly appreciated! The pizza is also incredibly good delicious. Anytime I’m around bethel I take a pie home!“

They called to tell me it was a mistake and they stopped delivering already, but when I explained that it was for my kids and we didn't have other options because we were heading home from the airport, they graciously agreed to make the food and deliver it to us! “Gisellas has been our favorite go to Italian restaurant in DANBURY since it opened. Food is always delicious and consistent and the wait staff couldn’t be more accommodating. Unfortunately last night we had a different experience the moment we walked in the door. Hostess was very unfriendly and dismissive, no eye contact and acted like she was doing us a favor seating us! Thankfully, like always, the rest of our dining experience was amazing!“

“Just left a crazy Thursday night at IL Forno. What a fun and enjoyable evening we had. We walked in with no reservations and the manager snuck us right in and we even got to the listen to an amazing singer. We have been here a few times, this was by far the most fun we had. Everyone was laughing. The staff which seems to be plenty was having a good time. The manager and Owners kept walking around and making sure all was good and everyone was happy. “My wife and I stopped here in Oct 2021 on our way up to Connecticut after a 5 hour flight from Las Vegas to JFK and battling NYC traffic after getting the rental car. After a full day of traveling, she and I were both exhausted and hungry. The restaurant itself and the pizza were absolutely awesome. “We had our daughter’s confirmation at Lucia’s at the end of April. I was very pleased with the attentiveness as we planned the party and decided on final touches. During the party the food and service were above par. The staff was friendly and attentive and the food was delicious! I highly recommend celebrating your next event at Lucia’s.“

“This is the definition of a hole in the wall pizza shop that truly delivers on quality. There are a few spots to sit and eat but we were on the run so we took it to go. Here’s how it went. Garlic knots had a lot of flavor in them. I appreciate that they give it way more than usual dob of butter and garlic. There are so many herbs in the oil that I devoured all of them instantly. The pasta fagioli was again super flavorful and freshly made. The lasagna was another fresh flavor bomb on a plate. They had my favorite type of pepperoni for the pizza, a bit of spice. The dough wasn’t thick and just the right amount to ensure the topping didn’t go for a ride without taking away from the flavor. Plus the bacon was NOT that bacon flavored flavored but junk. It was the real deal. This was definitely an awesome meal. You definitely need to add this to your takeout list!!!“

“This place was really great! First time I'd ever been since they changed the name. Went for a fun night out with my nephews fiance. She's not from the area and I'd really hoped to show her some cool spots. This did not disappoint, even on a Tuesday. We got the loaded tots app and green monster pesto pizza. The tots were a but spicy, but nothing that burned our mouth. Just gave us a few hot flashes and some laughs. But really, the food was Excellent. We were there pretty late, saw the kitchen going home. Even as we were the only 2 ppl left, we'd asked the waitress if we were holding her up and she was so sweet and accommodating, never made us feel like we had to leave. I did tip well as a result. Would absolutely return!!!“

The real attraction at Dante's are their fresh scrumptious cookies if you ask me. I'd definitely drive out of my way to buy more of those!“

“Pizza crusts are phenomenal. Slightly blackened, soft, yet cooked through. Toppings are inventive and great tasting. But they're only getting 4 stars.Why? The service is slow, and poorly managed. We waited too long for our pies to arrive. Initially we were given the wrong pie and then waited another 10 minutes for the correct pies to arrive. We also noticed another table of two patrons had only one pie arrive and then they had to another 10 minutes for their second pie. Our waiter seemed to want to talk cocktails and work the bar rather than return to our table. We had to ask another waiter for the check... and then take our payment.Bad night? I'm not so sure. On a prior visit for take-out, my phoned-in order still wasn't ready after the 45 minutes that was suggested.... And it took another 15 minutes for my pies to be cooked. They seem to have a real issue with scheduling and timing - which is difficult to understand - they have a pizza oven and they're making pizza, they're not stabilizing the Leaning Tower of Pisa.I'm torn. Pies are great, but the waiting, er, grates.“

“Was looking for a pizza place in town that had wood fire pizza ovens with thicker crust. This place is awesome! The pizza was delicious, we had the mushroom pizza (New England) I think? And then we had the fried calamari and the crispy cauliflower, which was my favorite! It's not a huge restaurant though, it's smaller but they do have a patio as well. The service was friendly and quick. We will definitely come back again when we are in town!“

“Joe's has the best pizza in Connecticut! I always get a small "NY Style Cheese Pizza" with Pepperoni that can easily feed two people. RéNapoli (Margherita Pizza) is a second choice fave pizza in Connecticut. I'm unsure about Connecticuters' love of Connecticut Hot Oil Pizza at Riko's, and Sally's Apizza or Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana but not my taste.“

I live in Phoenix az and they packaged my order so I could take it home on the plane and then when I ordered for my family for valentine's day they separated the portions to go to 2 different places for me. “Came in off the highway and the pizza is NYC style and quality, and they offer a baked ziti pizza that I can't find outside of the NY metro and exurb area. If I were to give this place a review based on only my most recent experience it would probably be 3.1 stars all around.Not sure what’s happened, I definitely feel the quality is no longer the same. I ordered pizza a few days ago, and it was nothing like it used to be. Whenever I used to order pizza from here it was always very crunchy and tight, but the most recent pizza I got had the toppings all over the place, it looked like a soup in the middle so all the toppings would slide right off - super greasy also, way past what a pizza should be.I don’t like to judge a place based off of one experience so I will be ordering again soon and editing my review with the results.
