“Lemmie tell ya somethin’. These fellas have the best plates we’ve had in a long, long time. Heaving portions, great meat sauce. Honestly I was questioning if I could even finish it. The patties are big and quality. You know when you are getting good stuff compared to a lot of garbage, pardon the pun, on the westside! Kinda pricy, comparatively speaking, but you know where that extra couple dollars are going. So pay no mind. They doordash, which is now dangerous for us. Gentlemen, thank you. I am a convert!!!!“

“Ok I dig this place. It is homed in an old gate check building at the entrance to this address. As you approach you will see the signs. It is very small. You walk in and will see the large menu board on the wall. To the left will be the register and the kitchen area. And to the right will be the 2 tables you can eat at if you wish and they are free.

This is not a place to plan to sit down with a large group and eat. It seats maybe 8 people. And often people get their food to go. This shouldn’t stop you though.

I came in after I donated blood up the street at the Local Police Union. I was hungry and wanted a big burger. On the board I see the Buddha Burger.

This burger has 3 beef patties, three slices of cheese, a round ham slice similar to what you’d get on an egg McMuffin, and bacon.

I added banana peppers, tomatoes, and pickles.

The burger patties are not hidden behind a super high fat content which I love. If these burgers were 80/20 I’d be very surprised. It keeps the flavor of the meat without drowning it out in grease. I was worried that the burger taken to go with three patties would soak through the bun but it did not.

When I got home I could see this thing was big. I opted to cut it in half to make eating it slightly easier. You can see the photos below.

“Really disappointed in our order tonight. Chicken fingers had a stale chemical taste. Hot meat sauce made my cheeseburger plate inedible as it was strikingly hot from previous experiences on plates. Bacon burger also had an odd taste. Not sure what the deal is as this is not the norm for our experience there.“

“We recently had a delicious lunch here. The staff was friendly, helpful and professional. It was lunch time so my hubby and I split the fish fry dinner. It was a good sized meal! The fish was huge and cooked perfectly. The cole slaw was so good and the gave you a decent amount, too. All in all, we will visit here again.“

“I absolutely love Bill Gray’s and I moved away six years ago. I was so looking forward to my cheeseburger, onions and hot meat sauce. We got six meals to go. All that ordered meat sauce did not have any when we got home. I was crushed. Good thing I have a much love for Bill Gray’s to forgive this huge oversight that really disappointed me.“

“The only fast food we ever purchase is the occasional Impossible Whopper with cheese. Sounds simple, right? But not all locations deliver the same level of care and attention as this one. “I did not catch the name of the woman working there today. She was the only one there and she worked so hard Not only taking every order, but cashing everybody out and making everybody's food and packaging it up.She definitely deserves recognition or even a raise. I've been to other Burger King locations where they had plenty of workers and the food did not come out in time or was not fresh.Not only did she make my order correctly, my food was hot and fresh and she was very kind about being the only employee there.“

“Have been coming to custom house for almost two years now. Service is awesome and the friendliest people you will meet in Brockport. Atmosphere is equisetic and homey and filled with cute little knickknacks all around the restaurant. Food is super reasonable especially for college students that are looking for a night out in the town. I have ordered a variety of meals from here and not once have I ever been disappointed in the food or presentations. If you are located in Brockport or looking for a new place to try I would highly recommended Custom House for your next night out!.“
