“Nathans gave my baby a bowl of soup during the saddest day of her life first day of chemo. She came home all lit up that she had a bowl of soup and it made her so happy during the storm of a hardship. Wow I hope that God blesses this business ten fold and you have a new patron for life, me! there's never food at the Cancer Center just a snack cart and for people to sit around hungry all day is really sad I know I was one. I made her pack some snacks and a peanut butter and jelly sandwich because I was afraid she was going to be hungry all day at the hospital. God bless you really for thinking of those suffering and hungry. I cannot put into words how this makes me feel. thank you from the bottom of my heart.“

“The sweets here are usually very good. They have a good variety to choose from. Their brewed coffee is never that great. They do have the biggest selection of flavor shots however so that sometimes covers the taste. The drinks besides normal coffee are typically good as well“

“I can't share enough wonderful things about The Red Bird Cafe & Gift Shop! My Mom and I attended afternoon tea back in January and were blown away by the delicious, traditional English tea - cucumber and cream cheese sandwiches, chicken salad on a croissant, currant scopes, and an incredible dessert tray with macaroons, tarts, cupcakes, and soft bread dipped cookies in chocolate. Not to mention, The Red Bird was warm, charming, and cozy. Jo, the owner, was so attentive and kind - I knew I had to have my Bridal Shower Tea Party here. A few weeks ago, The Red Bird hosted my Bridal Shower Tea Party and it was perfect! We set-up the Welcome sign, gifts, and games in the lovely shop, and then had a formal tea party in the tea room. Jo and her team were wonderful about letting us set-up and decorate however we wanted. They provided the food, tea, linens, China, silverware, and seasonal flowers. It was fun, delicious, and unique - I received so many compliments. I can't thank Jo enough for making my Bridal Shower a special memory, we will definitely be returning to The Red Bird in the future!“

“We love everything about Java! The breakfast is so good! Many coffee flavors to pick from. My favorite is the Carmel Latte. It’s so cute and cozy I love it! “Enjoyed Antipasti salad which didn't have olives as listed on menu however was Very delicious and all cut nicely. The balsamic dressing delicious. Also had a side of tripe very good. Prices are higher than menu states should note that at register. Very good selection of 30 flavors gelato. Pleasant seating. Another patron ordered a sandwich and looked wonderful.“

“Very helpful pleasant staff and great coffee. They have places to sit and enjoy your coffee but this is not Starbucks. So if you want to work on your laptop for 45 minutes or let the Internet babysit your kids for you while you day- dream of what your life was like before they were born, then you might want to drive on. All the better for the rest of us who just want to enjoy some coffee in a quiet friendly space.“
