Fortune Hawaii

The food is the most authentic Chinese food in my area. My family and I usually get the lunch specials which are pretty cheap and comes with a soup or soda, can also get fried rice I stead of white with no extra charge. Only issue is that the more expensive dishes have really small portions of meat. My pepper steak only had 9 pieces of meat with mainly rice to fill you up, the cheaper chicken and broccoli had double the meat

Starting off with the positives. I have been a returning customer of Fortune Hawaii for over 15 years and it is a pleasant, cozy place to dine in for a dinner in the Midland area. It was great coming here Friday evenings with a few family members to enjoy some tasty, traditional-styled Chinese dishes. My favorite dish of all time from here (pictures attached) is a toss-up between the Flaming Volcano Steak and the Dragon Phoenix (shrimp and fried chicken) plate. We had a great brunch. It was very full on a Saturday morning though. Not sure how much social distance was being done inside - it looked pretty packed. But they have a patio area with heaters that is more social distance friendly. Food and drinks were very good. Our server MONTREAL was amazing!
