“Visited alone to try the pizza and watch some of the Jets game - the former was delicious and the latter disheartening. My fellow diners and the bartender were all remarkably welcoming of a non-islander and even gave me a free Jets x Captain Morgan can which I used as a cup for a year. They might have handed that out just because they didn't want to associate with the Jets anymore. Who knows.“

“We ate at the Point Tavern this past Saturday night after reading other reviews. We were seated promptly. Ordered two appetizers; hush puppies & street corn shrimp. The bang bang sauce was very tasty on everything. I loved that they were served on cast iron pans (nice touch). Then came out roast beef sandwiches, one with a pretzel bun, other the ciabatta. OMG. The best, savory, melt in your mouth flavor bomb roast beef we have ever had. We will definitely be going back!!!“

The owner, Kim, helped us with the menu, was totally delightful and you can truly tell she enjoys her customers and being there. I am going back .. soon. “Service is always great. But the quality of the veggie burger has gone downhill :( They use a different type of veg patty now that isn't as tasty. And always seems to be very overcooked or undercooked to the point that it's inedible. I really hope they bring back the old ingredients because it used to be my fav dish to order!“

“I just recently moved back to Bay Ridge after years away. Going into Bean Post I was welcomed and felt right at home on my 1st visit. The Food is fantastic and the mixed drinks they know how to pour them in Brooklyn. They offer fantastic meals especially there Thanksgiving meals you can pick up. My girlfriend had major surgery about 2 weeks ago. It was not possible for us to cook a Thanksgiving meal. WE ordered 2 Thanksgiving meals and the portions were amazing and a value we could not find anywhere else. The Turkey Dinners we purchased and the joy we had sharing Thanksgiving together with our dinners from Bean Post made it a Wonderful Holiday. We are now looking forward to ordering Christmas dinners from Anthony and his family. They treated us well. THANK YOU!“

“Great cocktail bar… martinis… negronis… top shelf! Wine??? Meh… chintzy pour of just average wines…$14!for a 4 oince pour of a “ Super Tuscan” ? Steer clear… not worth it.
Food… tomato sauce is top shelf… but if you are featuring your sauce and you fill a dish surrounding 2 small pieces of eggplant( which was cooked perfectly BTW) you need to provide some BREAD for dipping… not everyone likes garlic bread ( at $10) avoid the “ wood fired” artichokes… they are “ canned” and nothing special at $14! The Short rib plate with butternut squash is amazing… a little on the sweet side… but something special for sure.
The Meatballs…. Ypu can make better at home small orbs of deep fried beef… very little flavor very crunchy…. Not a good choice!!! Food is a mixed bag… some good… some not so good… we will return for the cocktails…. Wine? No way!!! Meatballs??? Eat a tennis ball!! Artichokes??? Make them yourself at home! Music is WAY too loud…. Pretty pricey tab for 7’out of 10 food. Pizza was made with top shelf ingredients but bottom crust was “ flubbery” needed a few minutes in a hot pan. This place is among the best choices for cocktails in Sayreville… but needs work to be worth multiple“

“Stumbled upon this welcoming pub after a long working day during UN Week in NYC. As my hotel was near Carteret was able to hop off the NYC bus and stroll right in. Trivia night was on and that was a welcome diversion - as was the prompt and friendly service and the cold beer! BTW, $5 Happy Hour is Monday-Saturday 5-8pm. I’m a wing snob so didn’t give them a high ranking but definitely in the zone of tasty and comfort food! Highly recommended!!!“

““Great Servers” are few and far between. HOWEVER; Lucky 7s has New Jerseys finest hands down. Then!!!! The amount of Sports to watch here is unmatched. They accommodate when possible for fans to watch theirs teams. The label of “Dive Bar” has been mass produced in the recent years. Yet! “I was recently in New Jersey for a concert and staying at a hotel for a few nights. My friend and I were looking for a quick bite to eat nearby. We decided to go to this place on a whim and it turned out to be one of the best decisions ever. The atmosphere was incredible. Everyone in there was so cool and the bartender was fantastic and very helpful. She recommended the Jack Daniels burger so we both went with it. When I tell you we both dreamed about this burger for our entire trip. We ended up going back to this place two more times. It was such a great local place with great people. I can’t recommend it enough. If you’re ever in the area go there and get the Jack Daniels burger. Talk to the locals. Have a pint and enjoy the vibes. 5/5. 10/10. Incredible.“

“Oh my gosh! What a gem!!!! Landed in NYC and spotted Walkers and just had to go in. A fabulous bartender, Eugene shared a bunch of his favorite restaurants. And of course, his famous Presidents’ Day costume. The burger was great but the guests and the staff - out of this world!!! We will be back!!!“

The servers working are attentive and friendly. All of this is a 10/10, but I need to talk about the food. The wings at this spot are by far the best wings you will ever have in your entire life. When you are listening to some of the best songs you ever heard, while receiving the best service you have ever had the pleasure of receiving, you will be sitting down eating the best wings you have ever had in your entire life. These wings changed my life. I have a new answer to my "what would your last meal be" answer after consuming the wings at this pub. “I stopped in to have a couple of drinks prior to going to see the Christmas lights in the neighborhood.

This is such a great little cash only dive bar in Dyker Heights. My bartender (whom I didn't get his name) was fast and friendly. I got a couple of Bloody Mary's as that is one of my main cocktails, and they were very simple and tasted great.

I really liked the vibe of this bar where it wasn't too noisy with loud music. They also have several TVs displayed if you want to watch a game.

The prices for drinks are super cheap as my Bloody Mary's only costs $8. As far as food goes, I believe the only food offering they have is pizza.

Overall, I definitely like this place, and I will most certainly stop in again for a drink or two or three the next time I am in the area.“

“Solid sports bar with good wings. We ordered three traditional wing flavors: buffalo, O'Hara's special sweet and spicy, and parmesan garlic. The O'Hara special flavor was by far the favorite of the group. I would not order the artichoke dip again as it was quite watery and tasted about the same as a frozen option from the grocery store. Although they have a great beer menu I was disappointed that my two preferred beers were unavailable to order (Blue Moon and cold snap). All things considered, I'd come back for the wings and the sports bar atmosphere.“

“As a Union Beach Resident, I just have to give a shout out to this awesome local pub. Although I visit there often and it has become like a second home where you visit family when you enter, the NYE celebration last night was so fun! The pre fix menu was full of options and the pricing was so fair. The drinks are always served cold and well prepared. Renee and Courtney were up beat and on point and made the evening even more enjoyable. It would not have mattered though who was behind the bar as the rest of the team there are all amazing and professional! If you are in the Bayshore area and are looking for a place to visit stop by and check them out!! BTW, the burgers are really the best in the area !!“

“I highly recommend Beckett’s for many reasons! The drinks and service were great and really admire the ownership and any management. I hosted a private event for my birthday and everyone had a fantastic time and my experience was so positive from the planning to end. I filled out an interest form initially and Noel called me in the same day and provided all details I needed. He was also very flexible when it came to coordination of attendees and food/drink options really making it a stress free organization. During the event we had Grace as our bartender and she was fantastic and helped with everything upon setup and flexibility for the night. The drinks were great and were able to make this a special night. “We can't recommend Salty Dogs party room enough. It's absolutely stunning, spacious, fantastic service, amazing and delicious food (as quoted by my sons for their Communion party the best mozzarella sticks, pizza, chicken fingers and crispiest fries in Brooklyn). It was big enough for all our guests to have room to move around and not feel crowded, the buffet food option is amazing, everyone can have a taste of anything they want and there was almost a never ending amount of food.“
