“We frequently drive an hour and half round trip to pick up dinner from here. It is the best Mexican food in the area, by far, and is always worth the trip.Their tortilla chips are so delicious that we get a double (or triple!) order to snack on the following day. Some of our favorites are the QuesoBurros and the Mulas De Col Rizada. The steak tacos are very good. There are dairy and gluten-free options, which we appreciate. We were missing our favorite taqueria in East Palo Alto, CA but Upstate Taco is every bit as good. We feel lucky to have such a great place close by.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free and dairy-free options available“
“The staff make this chain a better stop than most. They are kind and friendly to kids, and the rest of us too but wow. Really nice and accommodating to kids. I saw 2 kids under 10 get service and help from 3 people who gave them the experience of being important customers and treated as though they were any other customer with kindness and respect as though they were an adult. It was refreshing to see good people give kids a chance to be "normal" and yet treated well.It may seem small, but it made me happy.“
“Black Dot is the best coffee shop ever. The quality and care put into their coffee and food is unparalleled in the Hudson Valley. Banana cake. CHECK. Lemon cake. CHECK. The best cappuccino? CHECK, CHECK. Yummy snacks? Forggetaboutit! They’re the best. They’re super friendly and it’s a great place for both locals and people traveling through- which is important up here! When I go back to the city I always miss it. :)“
“We stopped in while on a road trip from Delaware to Montreal. What a cool little place! It's a combination tea/coffee place. The person who helped us could not have been nicer. I had the Maple Rosemary Latte which was amazing! We would certainly frequent this place if we lived in the area. Check it out!“
“Best bookstore in Kingston! I'm not a coffee drinker but I do love their hot chocolate. I order the same thing every time I stop by ( Small hot chocolate and a cookie) .This place is super cozy with an awesome selection of books. If you can find a seat on a less busy day your in luck! It's a chill place to meet up with friends or get some work done. Staff is always friendly and helpful. If your new to Kingston definitely check it out it's one of a kind.“
“My wife and I came for a Friday night dinner. We made reservations last minute and glad we did as the place was packed. Service was high quality and the folks were very warm. The food and drinks was insanely good! The Rasta pasta was delicious and we enjoyed our leftovers so much. The jerk wings were so tender and the dry rub was spicy and flavorful. We were lucky to meet the chef Chris briefly and he was very kind. The cafe and provisions store is also really great. The coffee was tasty and the breakfast sandwiches were dope right before a hike.“
“Super cute! Everyone was so nice there and the cats were adorable. Very reasonable prices for drinks and to sit with the cats. All of them were approachable and comfortable around people. You can buy treats for the cats (bring quarters!) and they had many toys and climbing areas for them. Will definitely be returning!“
“Easy to get to/access with parking unlike some other coffee shops in town but that's just a bonus. The coffee is very good and the staff were friendly.Parking: 2 hour parking for customers. Shared lot with upstairs tenants and other businesses.“
“Great space for a date night, study session, playing games with any group or individual (2 player games and group games; family-friendly games; games based on difficulty), or a place to chill out. The atmosphere is laid back, friendly, and inclusive. The food is always delicious. The drink selection is impressive and every beverage I've ordered has been amazing.Dietary restrictions: vegan and GF options“
“Love this place. Best coffee around. The espresso is rich and creamy. Pastries are amazing every time. Also the service is perfect. I honestly can’t find another place like it. I would recommend getting an Iced Mocha Latte with oatmilk, with a raspberry croissant or an almond croissant.Vegetarian options: Few pastriesParking: about 6 spots right in front of the cafe.“
“A absolute must whenever I am in the area. Nothing else compares to this entire experience from their mastery of flavor to their respect for their local (and global) community. A healing experience and reason to have hope when nearly every other business manipulates us with greenwashing. Communities must support such treasures as Lagusta’s Luscious.I tried and loved:Marzipan cookie (was not aware my taste buds could feel this much)A peachy tea special with oat milk (AHHHHH! SO GOOD! I wish I knew the name but order literally anything and im sure you’ll be blown away!)“
“A really nice coffee shop off the beaten path in New Paltz. They have a good menu with all your typical drinks with some seasonal specials. I highly recommend the amaretto and campfire specials. They served baked goods and food and both are fresh and tasty. It is a smaller space with limited seating. I personally love the back porch. It is a bit colder outside, but the view makes it worth it. Service is decently paced unless it's Uber busy, then it could be a bit slower, but it's not anything too extremely long. Staff are quite friendly. Would recommend“
“Breakfast was absolutely delicious!! Very reasonably priced and food was made very quickly. Customer service was excellent. My boyfriend and I drove up from CT for our anniversary and we tried this place and were not disappointed. We will definitely be coming back to visit. We came on Sunday morning and didn’t realize they didn’t do breakfast, only pastries. We bought pastries to go for the ride home. We will definitely be returning!! Highly recommend“
