“We often stop in for delicious Italian food, a pizza lunch and/or dinner. For my mother in laws 100th we decided to cater dinner at home. Most who know us know how we love to cook, and eat, but it sure was terrific to spend time together, relax & enjoy, with limited clean up.
Food was delicious. Eggplant parm, Penne a la vodka, Chicken Marsala, yummy garlic knots, pasta with escarole & beans, fabulous!
When they found out we were celebrating mom's 100th they sent best wishes and complimentary cookies to have with our espresso & desserts.
Food delivered was warm and fresh. On time. Driver helped us set up.

“Baked clams were so fresh and fulfilling. They have a full clam in each half shell for starters but the stuffing and sauce was so original and flavorful I can't wait to get another batch. The chicken Francese dinner was a beautiful thing as well. I highly suggest Sal Anthony's if you are looking for some authentic Italian/Sicilian food. Fresh bread and wonderful fresh salad with the works as well and a nice balsamic. Pricing was fair as well. I could go on but I'll let you decide. Get in there you won't regret it.“

“I have been loving Colosseo pizza since jr High school. Thats over 40 plus years and somehow they have not drop a notch in greatness. In todays time, there are so many critics of pizza being so widely loved, but these guys are a Long Island staple.

Inside, its very clean and moves quick in all respects be take-out, by the slice or sit down in their back dining room. Nothing super fancy but your coming for their great pizza!“

“Sept 2025: 5 star review. sat down inside and was treated perfectly. It was three of us. The waitress was so nice. The food was absolutely perfect. The garlic knots were the best knots I’ve ever had. Cheesy and garlicky perfection. Would order these every single day. Ordered 16” Paulie’s pie with pepperoni. It did not come out burnt. The taste was perfect!!! Also order buffalo and garlic parm wings. The buffalo sauce was out of this world. The garlic parm was average but still tasty.
I have to say I would return.

The grilled chicken in the Greek salad was very moist and soft. Loved their 6 slice pizza too-great cheese and perfect amount of sauce that’s way less acidic than other local pizza, maybe partially because they use less sauce. Staff were very kind too. The pizza is fantastic and gets the full 5 stars.The middleaged gentleman working counter, however should get 1 million stars.Someone in my car got sick as we pulled up to park, and left a little mess infront of the store, and may need urgent care.I went in and told him what was happening, and asked if he had a bucket, so I can clean it.He did not blink an eye, and insisted I take care of my matters, and he would clean it.He offered me towels, napkins, whatever I needed.His only concern, was for me to attend to ourself, and he would do the rest.I travel to St. James 2x per week for the unforseeable future, and I will be stopping in for lunch frequently.SIR, I didnt get your name, but I cant thank you enough.You are a model of what every human should be like.Thank you“
