“Good sandwiches (especially roast beef, corned beef, Italian Combo, VC club) and delicious potato salad, but I am frustrated because the bread is often very stale. I would say this has happened with 1 out of every 3 sandwiches I have ordered there and it ruins the sandwich. I feel like I'm taking a risk every time I order. I have also had a really hard time ordering by phone as it's extremely difficult to hear the staff on the other end. They are usually pretty fast, but I would really like more consistency. It's too bad. With a little more quality control, it would be an awesome spot to frequent.“

The only downside is that the wait time is sometimes a bit long (20-25 minutes even when I call in beforehand for cold sandwiches). My wife is from Peru and got to experience Ecuadorian food for the first time here and she loved it. I’ve been to Ecuador before and I can say that this is pretty delicious and authentic food. Definitely check this place out when in Peekskill.“

“always always happy with their BEC sandwiches. they only have a *tiny* amount of room for dining in, so it’s mostly/mainly a take-out/pick-up spot. food is always delicious though. if you commute or have a train trip or whatever then it makes way more sense to get food from here vs. the other nearby options (there’s a whole entire restaurant/bar at the actual old Peekskill station, but its a lil ‘foo-foo’. THIS spot which is right across the street has much better/more food options).their menu prices are very reasonable, and the food quality makes it totally worth it.“
