“We have been coming here for years, and Jimmy and Andy always treat us like family! We drive from Orange County and are never disappointed. The sushi is amazing, among my favorites are the Mango Tango roll, Tiger roll, Tri Color roll and Tuna Amazing! The appetizers are small enough portions to try everything without waste!! It’s All You Can Eat, so easy to order more of what you like! But perfect sized appetizers so you don’t fill up before the sushi arrives! The sushi is always fresh and plentiful and the staff’s attention to details is unmatched. When the owners truly care about their customers, it shows and is appreciated! I have sent at least 20 friends to their restaurant who are now loyal customers on their own!! Thank you AJ’s for going above and beyond!“

If you’re looking for the best Sushi in the area, and you’re not sure where to go.. go to EPOCH! I tried their food a couple years ago and it was amazing! Recently, they changed up most of their menu… and finding this out I was skeptical. But let me tell you, the sushi was the best I’ve ever had from any Sushi place in like an hour radius.
The environment inside this place is very warm, and relaxing. Good music was playing. Staff were so friendly. My 3 friends I brought with me, also said it was by far the best sushi they’ve ever had yet.
I and my friend will be back for sure!

“After a very long day, I came in get a bite to eat before I went back to traveling. The food is delicious. The staff is incredible. They will go the extra mile for you (literally). After ordering and eating entirely too much delicious food the couple who owns the restaurant gave me a ride to the bus station. The woman who served me was kind and kept me company while I was alone. Really one of the best experiences I have had in the entire state of New Jersey. Thankful for people like you.“

We always ordered lunch Bento box came with many combinations like Miso soup, salad, california rolls are great. The salmon teriyaki, chicken tonkatsu, shrimp teriyaki and shrimp tempura for the other time were yummy, everything was tasty—truly reflecting professional, high-quality preparation. “We had dinner at Matsu on Friday......its a little gem in Hillsdale. We were pleasantly surprised, by the quality and quantity of the food. The Staff went out of their way to accommodate us. They very friendly and warm. It was a most enjoyable dinner. We have ordered food to takeout but hadn't been inside the restaurant since the pandemic.... We will definitely go again soon. “Great assortment of fresh raw fish- mackerel, white n red tuna, yellowtail, in sashimi sushi platter. Friend had pine box- chicken teriyaki, spring roll n sushi- comes with soup n salad. Food was served quickly and food was delicious.
Crowded on weekend night- does tremendous take out business. Bring your own. Staff is friendly and eager to please.“

“Masa is our sushi place. It’s like home. We had to go to another sushi restaurant because masa was all booked up. I wanted to cry because these other places just don’t compare. Masa is the real deal. High quality fish. Great menu selections. Welcoming and friendly staff that we’ve come to know and love. Everything they make tastes fresh and delicious. “The food was delicious, loved the miso soup and the shrimp tempura especially. The salad was also really good, it had some ginger paste and normally, i’m not a fan of ginger but this was so good!

The service was amazing. The staff were super attentive and friendly. We came for my sister’s birthday and they sang so well.

The atmosphere was really pretty and comfortable seats. Loved the place and it’s definitely a go to spot now! 1000000/10“

“If you get an urge for some sushi and want to go, pick it up and head home, this is the place for you. The sushi is pretty much restaurant quality and nothing like the sushi you get from any of the supermarkets. The place is shinny and new and the staff are all great. Good local spot for lunch.“
