We have enjoyed Graziano's culinary artistry for 30 years now, (since the days of Mary Ps), and he just keeps getting better. My wife had the shortribs, and I had the sushi grade tuna with mushrooms and we enjoyed every bite. The service and atmosphere are the best. I would highly recommend the Downtown Cafe for a delicious, relaxing meal and great hometown atmosphere.“

“We drive over weekly from Kingston because they have the best bagels, the best! Their bagels are true top quality NY/NJ top notch bagels. The bagels are always fresh, the spreads delicious and all other yummy goodies to add. Having grown up on LI and lived in NJ, my husband says I'm a bagel snob .. well he too will only get bagels, spreads and more from Lox of Bagels in Saugerties. Enjoy!“

Thursday was half-price margarita night and I had the opportunity to enjoy a perfectly prepared frozen margarita. The guacamole was among the best I’ve had and the quesabirria was meaty and cheesy and just delicious. Great vibe. Great food. Great people.“

“Great food service. I have never found a place that makes a better margarita. Most places make what I call “girly” margaritas. A true margarita is like a martini or manhattan. With the liquor the # 1 ingredient. Santa Fe makes a true margarita. The food is also very fresh and made to offer. Never found a place that makes better tacos.“

“My husband and I took a little day trip from Albany today with no real destination in mind, besides checking out Samuels Sweet Shop. As we drove through town, your restaurant caught our eye! After asking the sweet clerk at Sam’s how your food was, we decided to have lunch on her suggestion. And we are so glad we did! The interior of the restaurant is very nice and it was so warm and cozy as we entered. Your staff were wonderful. We each had a drink… I had a Bellini and he chose a beer. Our server was nice enough to look up the brewery his beer was from for us too (nice added touch that he didn’t have to do) We started our meal with calamari. The breading was so delicious and not heavy and the pineapple dipping sauce was a tasty surprise. I ordered the hot chicken sandwich and he opted for steak. My chicken was the perfect blend of hot and sweet and so good. My husband’s steak was perfectly and we both enjoyed the horseradish sauce it was served with. Both served with your homemade shoestring fries. Both, so good! We had a lovely time sitting and conversing. Your waitstaff checking in just enough to make sure we were taken care of and not pushy to get us out. Overall we loved it! We can’t wait to come back in warm weather and try your outdoor seating. I wish I had gotten our servers name, as he deserves the kudos for being so pleasant!“

Our menu included London Broil, Salmon, Ceasars Salad with Chicken and Vegetable Quiche with side salad. We had a variety of servings. Everything was sooooo good! Best restaurant in Kingston. We couldn't have chosen a better place.“

Not only were the burgers and sandwiches delicious and nicely sized, (had the classic, dirty bird, and lamb eater) the concept of adding more to the 'usual' is an understatement. And adding their enviro friendly mindset of aluminum trays and no need for paper or plastic plates that you use for a millisecond of your lifetime, topped it off. “I used to look forward to eating there. But the last two times I had the worst servers. One never came back to check after she dropped off my food. I had wanted a soda refill and another napkin, had to find her to get my check. Last night I came in and was told the kitchen was about to close so I needed to hurry up (I just sat down at about 9:25 pm). I ordered right away. An ice water and a coke and a meatball parm sub. I was lucky to get my soda with her attitude. No ice water was brought or acknowledged at all. I took a few bites of my food and she asked if I wanted a box. I was really irritated. If they told me to go only I would have been fine. But the way I was handled made me angry. I ate quickly and left. If I choose to get something again , it will be to go. Honestly, Caitlyn is the best server there. She is five stars. The others are not worth a dime.“

“This is the premier Mexican food in Dutchess county. When I'm here I'm transported back to Mexico. The food is fantastic. They provide bean dip and salsa with the complimentary chips. There's a great selection of different food even for vegetarians. Try the appetizer sampler platter to start. Their tortillas are fresh so if you get their fajitas you're getting quality food.
Great choice of margaritas on the rocks or frozen. The atmosphere is great with colorful decorations and music to move to. Lastly, great service and quick food arrival after ordering. Do yourself a favor and stop here.“
