“While I love the restaurant, and look forward to having dinner here at least once a month, I have just one complaint: after-dinner coffee is served without a saucer. Just a cup on the tablecloth. There's something so incomplete about this that it's jarring; once you've stirred the coffee, where to rest the spoon? It can only go straight onto the white tablecloth, leaving a brown stain. So, why on earth put the coffee -- and if it's cappucino, it's a $10.00 cuppa! -- directly onto the tablecloth without the saucer? I know they have saucers, because they serve afternoon tea. I have taken to bringing my own saucer. If this seems petty, order the coffee after your Bear Mountain Inn dinner and try it yourself (avoid the cappucino).

Otherwise, this is a lovely restaurant with gorgeous views across the river to Anthony's Nose, the trains hurrying along the shoreline, the lawn. Dinner -- especially the half chicken -- is usually perfection. Just get a saucer under that coffee cup!“

“Just celebrated my husband's surprise party in the main dining room. Beautiful view of the golf course. Staff went over and beyond. Very attentive, friendly and accommodating. Our server Anna was so knowledgeable and helpful also. I lived in Cortlandt manor for 25 years and loved going there.“

“Our 10+ lb skirt steak for Christmas was a perfect cut. Loved it. So easy to cook when you have great quality steak. I also grabbed a rice ball to have for lunch from the prepared foods and it was awesome. Can’t wait to go back!“

“Noticed the truck over by bear mountain and decided to stop for an empanada! I was pleasantly surprised!! The tequila quesadilla AND the empanada were ON POINT!! The line aioli sauce was so delicious I wish I asked for extra! The empanadas were cooked perfectly!!! Definitely recommend 5 out of 5!!“

“The 19th Hole is a great local spot in Ossining. The wings were excellent—highly recommend the sweet chili. The pork bao buns were delicious (definitely ask for extra coleslaw), and the mozzarella wedges were a hit as well. “The experience was great thanks to Jeff. I needed help finding a macallan lumina whiskey which is hard to find unless it was on a cruise or duty-free shop. The process was easy by calling in to see if they have it in stock and to order it. They packaged it nicely and had no problem picking it up a month after the purchase.
