“been going there for centuries and then Chris to over the store and it’s still awesome like his chicken Parm loves my favorite or the cheeseburgers chicken noodle soup. There’s anything that I can’t eat from there. I’m there all the time fresh vegetables mashed potatoes specials during the week are great and if you want something different, he’ll make it for you. Chris is awesome and his staff is very very helpful.👍👍👍👍👍“

“This is by far the best deli! They have the best food and staff always so attentive and quick to take and make orders, so friendly and they give huge amounts of food with your order and are not even close to skimpy. They even remember you and your orders and really just makes the experience positive. I go here everyday that I can! Thank you for the best service!“
“This deli has the best sandwiches. I ordered a ham and cheese wedge and they were very generous with the meat. I also purchased 3 beef empanadas and OMG they were the best I ever had. The potatoe salad was home made and also delicious. The staff was very nice and enjoyed speaking with them. I would definitely recommend BrightSide Deli.“

“I have lived in Verplanck for the past 12yrs. now. My situation is as such that I don’t have a car so getting back and forth to the Grocery store is difficult for me. Jimmy gets what I need in his store and I am so grateful to be able to shop there. Jimmy and his sons are pleasant, respectful and welcoming whenever I go there.“

“Absolutely 10/10. Came in on a whim after saying “Gosh I need to try them” for a long time. Don’t be like me, TRY THEM NOW! I’m writing this review mid-sandwich because it just couldn’t wait. There are just some places you can tell take pride in the kind of product they’re putting out. Delicious ingredients and care make for the best food, every time- something they have perfected here. Country deli’s staff were friendly and everyone seemed to have a genuine smile. One of their regulars walked in behind me- they knew him by name and began making his sandwich before the door was shut behind him. Rest assured I will frequent enough to be known by them from now on. Fighting myself on going back to order another sandwich right now.“

“Tacos were very good, This place looks run down but their bathroom is nice.
This place gives off gas station vibes but I did not get sick eating their food. I ordered 4 steak tacos and they tasted delicious and did not leave an onion taste/smell in my mouth which I am very grateful for!“

“They have great sandwiches. I'll pick them up before going sailing and they're a very satisfying meal. The only downside is that the wait time is sometimes a bit long (20-25 minutes even when I call in beforehand for cold sandwiches). I think it is justified though since they are often very busy and that makes me happy that they have so much business. I like the Bomber sandwich a lot if I'm in the mood for a hot one! Totally recommend, but if you're in a hurry during their daytime hours you might need to account for a little bit of a wait.“

And also open til 2a.m which is very convenient for people who get out of work late and need something local to get whatever is needed for your home. When they were cooking the food was amazing. “Delicious!! We were up here on a mini vacation. And anytime we're in New York. Whether it's Manhattan or New York State, I always grab a few bagels to take home and freeze. If you're wondering if you can freeze bread, yes, yes you can. I grabbed a few and so did my friends and we all agree that this was the best bagel we've had in quite some time. Agree that this was the best bagel we've had in quite some time. I am in Philly and they live in South Jersey. If you're in the area, go here, this is a must, grab a bagel or a dozen (I kind of wish I bought more lol).
My go-to is always everything bagel however, I saw an onion pumpernickel, wow just wow is all I can say.“

“This place is really great for an impossibly cheap and delicious meal. It’s half market, half eatery. My wife is from Peru and got to experience Ecuadorian food for the first time here and she loved it. I’ve been to Ecuador before and I can say that this is pretty delicious and authentic food. Definitely check this place out when in Peekskill.“

“always always happy with their BEC sandwiches. they only have a *tiny* amount of room for dining in, so it’s mostly/mainly a take-out/pick-up spot. food is always delicious though. if you commute or have a train trip or whatever then it makes way more sense to get food from here vs. the other nearby options (there’s a whole entire restaurant/bar at the actual old Peekskill station, but its a lil ‘foo-foo’. THIS spot which is right across the street has much better/more food options).their menu prices are very reasonable, and the food quality makes it totally worth it.“

“I’ve been coming here for a few months now and it is the best!!I always get a wrap or sandwich but I’ve been craving a salad and I went for it since I saw many reviews raving about them.I never order salads from anywhere because 99% of the time they are ALL lettuce and minimal toppings. Waste of time and money. BUT THREE BOYS DEFINITELY CHANGED THAT.I picked up a Caesar salad and wowwww I was totally surprised. All the portions were perfect, nice amount of everything!I will definitely be getting more salads from here.Not to mention, the two guys running the counter are so nice and work very quick.All around this place is def five stars.I got all my colleagues into this place too, it’s nice to have a place like this in Rockland.“
“Love this place! My mother lives nearby and when I’m in town, I pick up food for her because she loves their pasta, meatballs and chili in addition to bagels and other items. I just discovered their thinly sliced and breaded eggplant, which is amazing on a roll with mozzarella and roasted peppers.“
