The highlight of the night was Lourdes the cashier/ attendant. She was so friendly and welcoming and attentive. She was able to recommend things on the menu and elaborate on the options.

While I was eating she kept checking in on me and my guest and walking around cleaning surfaces and tidying up the space. Amazing customer service from her. Would absolutely recommend this place and I hope anyone that stops in gets to meet Lourdes.“

“PROS: I had a great experience add Jersey Mike's. It was very quiet and calm workers were super helpful and overall it was a really chill and easy experience. The sandwiches were very fresh including the vegetables inside. The atmosphere inside it was great, there were many nice posters along the walls and it is in general very clean on the tables. It's usually quiet inside and I would recommend eating there even though you can definitely take your sandwich outside as it is comfortable to eat it on-the-go. When I went, my friend was vegetarian and it was a great experience for him as the workers were very accommodating to his dietary needs. A+ for that!

CONS: The sandwiches did get a little soggy after a few minutes, however it was fine as you can eat it pretty quickly. While sitting outside is sometimes available, it doesn't feel right. There are very few chairs and it feels a bit out of place. Perhaps if they added more chairs and maybe some umbrellas it would be a lot more comfortable to eat outside.“

It is a takeout place so don't expect the ambiance of a restaurant. However, the owner is super friendly.

The focaccia bread and mozzarella were homemade and taste it amazing.

“This place is what you make of it. They have everything you could possibly want. They can make to order (if you slow down and communicate clearly) - better for less busy hours. You can get their pre-made food or select their established sandwiches - better for busier hours. Choose your own adventure and enjoy a day off from cooking!

They have a few seats in back - great for rainy days or to stop and slow down or have a home for a bit between classes/activities.

“Emmanuel and his staff are the pinnacle of excellence. Always polite and respectful, energy is always positive, and they treat their customers like human beings. They don’t seem bothered to be there and they’re glad you stopped by. In repetitive conversation (that comes along with multiple visits), you see they are exceptional human beings. The service is top notch and the food is great, always fresh. Clean store too. If this location isn’t his/theirs, I hope they franchise their own location soon. They deserve that and more.“

I don’t know about food quality.
But two guys who work there always nice with me. Orders always ready for pick up, drinks always fixed in the cart box.
Pick up counter always clean.
Sometimes I’m using a restroom (I’m sorry): it’s always clean.

“Wow, if you want some late night Halal that is super fresh, this is it! Don't be confused by the restaurant name and the food I got. This place sells sandwiches as well as Halal, it's a dual spot called Blimpie & The Gyro King. I got chicken over rice on three different occasions, and each time, it was so fresh (cilantro makes it bomb), service was super friendly, and it was prepared so quickly. When I'm up there again, I'll be back!“

“I brought 2 blimpies best sandwiches. I was so happy when I realized there is a blimpies 2 minutes from Montefiore hospital. I haven't had my favorite sandwich in years. Blimpies seems to be housed in other stores. Before this time, I found it in a twin donut on 161st and it was 16 dollars. The one on Gunhill and Bainbridge Avenue is in a store named Tasty Picks and was the normal 13 dollars.“

“I love this spot because not only because the food is accurate every time (and yummy) but because of the workers there. They are so nice!!! I would have given 5 stars but they do not open at 830am like this says(or their door) they always seem to open by 10am. No complaints just would like that to be updated if its not accurate. Please update the sign, its clearly causing people to get mad in your reviews and is affecting your rating.

“This is maybe the only subway I've ever gone to that regularly seems overstaffed, not horribly understaffed. This place will get busy but they work hard to keep it moving. Always ready with pickup orders and have a good track record for accuracy. This is a solid franchise location.“

“Crystal is a true leader and customer experience ChAMPION! Ordering online was challenge. I was ordering for 14 people.. I called the location for help. The man that answered offered me his bosses cell number as my order was to BIG to take during the “lunch rush” hour . I was placed on hold and Crystal joined the call.
