“When I first walked in I was not so sure of the place but then they brought out our dishes and changed my mind. Catherine was our waittress and she was very sweet and helpful. The food was really good, for reference I had the grilled chicken, with white rice, plaintain, and fries. The sangria was nice and sweet. Come and check it out. “Review by a half Colombian regarding authenticity… food was delicious, fresh and really big portion size. What I liked most is the picada in other Colombian places is usually all fried but here they grill the chicken and steak. The kids fries with mini hotdogs was also huge for a kid size and great priced, couldent recommend this place enough to all of you. I will def be back for more.“

“Stumbled across this restaurant while visiting the Flushing area today. The prices were good, 10-20$ for a lunch special. The portion size was large and the food was flavorful and delicious. The staff were very friendly; I'm learning Spanish and I was able to practice with our hostess, although they do speak great English. It was a bit hot in the store, and the music they were playing cut out while we were there for some reason.“

“I’m so happy that I ignored the reviews and ordered from here anyway. I’m Colombian, so if I think the food is good it’s because it is! Their hot chocolate was authentic and delicious! Their buñuelos are huge which is a plus! The portions of their dishes are perfect. I was extremely happy with my order. I’m so happy that I was able to order through seamless and they delivered to me 2 miles away. My food and drink were hot and fresh! “It was my first time trying Columbian food. My bf introduced me to it during my first visit to NYC. The restaurant was located only 2 blocks away from the hotel we stayed (The One Boutique).
It was very delicious! I loved the Columbian chicken Sancocho. The place easily became our go-to restaurant for all meal time -breakfast, lunch, dinner. When we didn’t know what to eat, we just knew we would get food from Los Marinillos. We stayed in Flushing for about 2 weeks, and I don’t remember how many times we had gotten food from this restaurant -ALOT of times because of how delicious it is. We dined in, take out and called for delivery.

Only thing, not everyone speaks English. One time my bf called to make a delivery order, and the girl had difficulty understanding what he was saying on the phone. We ended up walking two blocks and picked up the food by ourselves.

I might miss some, but here’s some of the food we had ordered from the restaurant:
Chicken sancocho, Philly steak, rice with chicken and beans, sausage roll, creamy soup, sweet fried plantains, empanadas, some coffee and mango juice.
All of them were delicious!
We highly recommend this place if you’re staying around Flushing.

“A perfect place to eat Colombian food again, even to bring bakery items from our country.
I gave it 5 stars because everything seemed good to me, although they charged me 3 fritters and only gave me 2 😅🤣🤣🤣
Oh surprise when we open the bag, I know that anyone makes a mistake, but try to be more aware of takeout orders..
For the rest, my congratulations to the waitress and the cooks.
Despite everything, I would go again, and without hesitation I would recommend it for my countrymen to go.

“This place was a godsend when I had a multi-hour layover in JFK after a long international flight early in the morning; it's very easy to get to by AirTrain and saves you from paying airport prices for the McDonald's breakfast menu when you're still on Asian time and in the mood for dinner - in fact it's cheaper than McDonalds' off-airport prices these days. The staff spoke English and were willing to explain what things were; I had a nice cup of coffee, some tasty empanadas and a fried croquette filled with minced shredded chicken and vegetables. It is a great choice for anybody that has a lengthy layover in JFK during a meal time, especially if you need to change terminals and leave the secured area anyway.“
