“Good sandwiches (especially roast beef, corned beef, Italian Combo, VC club) and delicious potato salad, but I am frustrated because the bread is often very stale. I would say this has happened with 1 out of every 3 sandwiches I have ordered there and it ruins the sandwich. I feel like I'm taking a risk every time I order. I have also had a really hard time ordering by phone as it's extremely difficult to hear the staff on the other end. They are usually pretty fast, but I would really like more consistency. It's too bad. With a little more quality control, it would be an awesome spot to frequent.“

“This is by far the best deli! They have the best food and staff always so attentive and quick to take and make orders, so friendly and they give huge amounts of food with your order and are not even close to skimpy. They even remember you and your orders and really just makes the experience positive. I go here everyday that I can! Thank you for the best service!“

“This deli has the best sandwiches. I ordered a ham and cheese wedge and they were very generous with the meat. I also purchased 3 beef empanadas and OMG they were the best I ever had. The potatoe salad was home made and also delicious. The staff was very nice and enjoyed speaking with them. I would definitely recommend BrightSide Deli.“

“always always happy with their BEC sandwiches. they only have a *tiny* amount of room for dining in, so it’s mostly/mainly a take-out/pick-up spot. food is always delicious though. if you commute or have a train trip or whatever then it makes way more sense to get food from here vs. the other nearby options (there’s a whole entire restaurant/bar at the actual old Peekskill station, but its a lil ‘foo-foo’. THIS spot which is right across the street has much better/more food options).their menu prices are very reasonable, and the food quality makes it totally worth it.“

“Absolutely 10/10. Came in on a whim after saying “Gosh I need to try them” for a long time. Don’t be like me, TRY THEM NOW! I’m writing this review mid-sandwich because it just couldn’t wait. There are just some places you can tell take pride in the kind of product they’re putting out. Delicious ingredients and care make for the best food, every time- something they have perfected here. Country deli’s staff were friendly and everyone seemed to have a genuine smile. One of their regulars walked in behind me- they knew him by name and began making his sandwich before the door was shut behind him. Rest assured I will frequent enough to be known by them from now on. Fighting myself on going back to order another sandwich right now.“

“They have great sandwiches. I'll pick them up before going sailing and they're a very satisfying meal. The only downside is that the wait time is sometimes a bit long (20-25 minutes even when I call in beforehand for cold sandwiches). I think it is justified though since they are often very busy and that makes me happy that they have so much business. I like the Bomber sandwich a lot if I'm in the mood for a hot one! Totally recommend, but if you're in a hurry during their daytime hours you might need to account for a little bit of a wait.“

“One of the best delis I’ve been to! Place is very clean, staff is very friendly, and the food is awesome. I myself am just a white guy who can’t handle spice, so I just got a simple bacon egg and cheese, not thinking anything of it - and WOW. It is the BEST breakfast sandwich I’ve had in my life!! I would give them 10 stars if I could. The selection of snacks and drinks is also very big so everyone can find something they like. Absolutely would recommend this place if you’re hungry and looking for something quick in the area!“

My wife is from Peru and got to experience Ecuadorian food for the first time here and she loved it. I’ve been to Ecuador before and I can say that this is pretty delicious and authentic food. “I’ve been coming here for a few months now and it is the best!!I always get a wrap or sandwich but I’ve been craving a salad and I went for it since I saw many reviews raving about them.I never order salads from anywhere because 99% of the time they are ALL lettuce and minimal toppings. Waste of time and money. BUT THREE BOYS DEFINITELY CHANGED THAT.I picked up a Caesar salad and wowwww I was totally surprised. All the portions were perfect, nice amount of everything!I will definitely be getting more salads from here.Not to mention, the two guys running the counter are so nice and work very quick.All around this place is def five stars.I got all my colleagues into this place too, it’s nice to have a place like this in Rockland.“
“Love this place! My mother lives nearby and when I’m in town, I pick up food for her because she loves their pasta, meatballs and chili in addition to bagels and other items. I just discovered their thinly sliced and breaded eggplant, which is amazing on a roll with mozzarella and roasted peppers.“

“Lous corner have a big variarity of sandwiches and some hot food and all was clean and delicious. Employees are so nice and they have a very large variety of food (hot and cold) and salads.Management changed no long time a go, but no body noticed because all employees still working there and the food still having the same quality and flavor.All types of sodas, beer, coffee and many more to drink.In a few words, you can find there all you need for a breakfast, lunch or for your reunion at home with friends to watch any sport on the weekends.“

“Probably the best bagels in Clarkstown if not Rockland County as a whole. Great staff who is friendly, good value, and great all around cleanliness. My only suggestion to customers is consider calling them in advance because at times they can get a decent line due to popularity during the morning rush. Keep up the great work!!“

“I have lived in Verplanck for the past 12yrs. now. My situation is as such that I don’t have a car so getting back and forth to the Grocery store is difficult for me. Jimmy gets what I need in his store and I am so grateful to be able to shop there. Jimmy and his sons are pleasant, respectful and welcoming whenever I go there.“
