“First time ever at the Ale House on Friday 1/5/24. Been driving by it for years but for some reason we never went. Now I’m mad it took me so long to get there! What a hidden gem. Very small inside but also comfortable. The bartender/server was Erin and she is awesome. Very very nice, fun and on the ball when you need a drink. I didn’t count the exact number, but they have 20+ beers on tap and also have a very extensive whiskey selection along with all your other favorite liquors. And the food? Absolutely delicious. We had the weekly special pizza which was a white garlic base, topped with spinach, diced tomatoes, diced onions and a balsamic glaze. Amazing flavor and the dough was cooked to crispy perfection. We also tried the grilled chicken sandwich with a spicy rub. Also grilled to perfection, great flavors with L/T/O on a soft Roma’s Bakery roll. Our friends that we were with each got a different burger which looked awesome as well. Not to mention, a bunch of other different menu options I saw come out to other tables looked fantastic. All in all I would highly recommend the Ale House and I believe my wife and I will be regularly customers from now on?“

“This place has a friendly neighborhood atmosphere with attentive bar staff & great drink selections at reasonable prices. You feel the stress start dripping off as soon as you walk in! They always have a few bites to eat on the menu for the day, including a yummy steak sandwich. Check out that big screen TV for your favorite game & the amazing bar top of thousands of pennies! Love to stop by here whenever I'm in town!“

“Friend's Diner has good diner food and good service.There is a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere.The diner first opened in 1983.On my first ever visit. I had the sausage biscuits and gravy with hash browns, toast, and coffee.The sausage biscuits and gravy had a nice taste to them.If you're looking good food at reasonable prices, give Friends Diner a try.“

“I have a long history with this building and it's previous owner, who is respectfully memorialized with a mural (RIP Hack). Used to be called The Pine Lounge. People who used to go to it now own it, so while the name has changed and some required changes have taken place (RIP the old record jukebox!) it spiritually feels like the same friendly place, with a new outdoors and a great local vibe. Not exactly for BU students, but not exactly NOT, either. They don't mind much who comes in as long as you're respectful. Buy a shirt. Make it your local spot if you live nearby, or if you want to escape the chaos of downtown. The pizzeria next door is actually pretty good too. Enjoy.“

“Great food! I got the Harry's Favorite chicken sandwich with tater tots. The sandwich was excellent and a bit messy. They also provided Frank's Red Hot for the tots (I'm not a fan of ketchup). Great service and highly recommend.“

“I frequent this bar when I visit JC because of the bartenders and the very reasonable prices. The bartenders especially Bob are friendly and efficient never having to wait for a drink. The food is really good as well and they have nice specials.“

“Just had a Christmas lunch with 15 people, the service and food were excellent. The service was friendly and efficient. As each person arrived, their drink order was taken and filled immediately and once everyone was seated, the food orders were taken. The food showed up shortly after.“

“I came to The Beef with a coworker on a work trip and found it via Google search. It was an excellent choice! The service was fantastic, food was great, and the pricing was surprisingly affordable. It's a perfect spot for business travelers keeping an eye on their budgets.We had the 6oz filet mignon and the baked haddock.The only "con" was a 20 minute wait while we could see open tables. That was a bit confusing, but we had a beer in the bar area while we waited. Not an inconvenience.Parking: Parking is behind the building and is a very small lot. It seems to be shared among surrounding businesses. There is also street parking nearby.“

“man i just had a texas bbq burger from this place just trying them out from a uber eats coupon and this was literally THE BEST burger i think i had in my entire life. and what you get for the price is way too good. gotta try in person cause i bet the rest of the menu is fire too keep doing whatever ur doing ur doing something right “

“This place was recommended to me while traveling in the area. All around a 4 star experience. We got right in as a party of 3 thankfully because it looked busy from the outside.Initially our server was attentive but it soon faded, it wasn’t busy at all. It took a lot of time to get the check.The burger we ordered was really dry and the bun was cold. The taste of it was ok, not the best I’ve ever had like some of the reviews say. The shrimp tacos were- very unappealing and nothing to write home about. The wings were excellent though, that is what is getting most of these 4 stars.“

“This little dive bar has cheap drinks and a nice atmosphere. It's like a dream walking in just something you only imagine in your mind. I enjoyed my visit locals were super friendly. The bartenders bday is 1/25/2022 stop in to wish her well.“

“Super fun dive bar, apparently has been open forever. Went for a Halloween party and made tons of friends, hahaha. Would go again! Drink prices are super reasonable. I wanted to get the "Gouda-est burger" sounds like a burger of the day name from Bob's Burgers... and also sounds delicious!! Would deffinetly go back, even though the bathrooms are suuuuuper outdated, the stall doors are wonky, and the toilet leans to the left...Parking: Lots on both sides.“
