“I've visited several times and overall it's been good. A bit pricey, but the food is fresh and high quality. They've got a varied menu of sandwiches, wraps, smoothies and hot dishes. While I wouldn't go so far as to say the service is rude, it certainly isn't friendly or inviting. Just very matter of fact with no personality. Limited space but they do have a few tables and a "bar top" to sit and eat. On street metered parking.“

“I love a good wine with my meal. That being said outside of a high end restraunt I have been no place in the area where the house sommelier picks the selection of wine like Saints and Scholars. You would have to buy a bottle if even then to get the quality of their house serve alone. I could write a book on the menu, not a bad choice to be found, but I will stop here. If you adore a good glass with a beautiful dinner/ brunch with exceptional service. Look no further.“

“This dive bar is simply the best. It is not a flashy, new concept type of bar. When I walked in, I had this bizarre, deja vu experience where it felt like home. It felt like I had already been there a thousand times before and everyone was an old friend. The drinks are cheap and they are served with love. Kinda wish I lived closer so I could visit all the time.“

“Came on a Friday evening. The food and service were good. The DJ was spinning good R&B. The restaurant is small and a little unorganized when it comes to waiting for a table. I get that it's a neighborhood spot, and everyone knows each other, but if it's a restaurant, treat it like one. If it's a lounge, change it to a lounge and not a restaurant.“

“I love their happy hour that starts at noon as well as their beer selection but allow me to say this about their outside seating service: it is dam near nonexistent except for a tall beautiful black woman from a few months back and a young man named Norie who served me last week. These two people were the ONLY ones that were attentive to me in all the times I sat outside to drink. I was actually surprised how much Norie checked in with me, because aside from him and the aforementioned, I was often treated as an afterthought. Very often i would even go inside to the bar myself to get my own refills!
Again, they have a fabulous happy hour and i do like the out of the way location with my bus stop across the street. The food is decent if a little overpriced for bar food but at least its not as bad as The Bronx Public. Again, if you sit outside then hopefully your assigned server is Norie!“

The cuisine was not only delicious but also fresh, and I was pleasantly surprised. ​On the food front, the Chicken and Waffles were absolutely delicious—crispy, savory, and sweet perfection. My brother also really enjoyed that they serve hookah.
​Now for the constructive criticism: while the vibe is great, the music is extremely loud, so be prepared for a high decibel night. More importantly, the pricing for the drinks outside of happy hour is ridiculously high for the small size you receive. I also found the pictures of the drinks on their digital menu to be quite deceiving in terms of actual size and presentation.

“My brother & I went last Wednesday evening to celebrate my birthday. Our server was so wonderful ( & I am so sorry I do not know her name!!). I had a shell steak ( took a chance) that was amazing! Arrived at our table a sizzling 1 1/2 thick thing of beauty with a massive baked potato and veggies. Exactly as I ordered. The soda bread was warm & fresh. My brother could barely finish his burger that had to be at least a half pound of meat, perfectly cooked. Even the coffee was delicious. We split the chocolate cake, (to die for) that the server generously said was on her for my birthday. The atmosphere was cozy, uncrowded, quiet enough to talk, and the prices are very reasonable!. “We had lunch on a random Tuesday here. There was only one other table being served while we were there, so you'd think that maybe they wouldn't have their A-team in the back. But the food was surprisingly delicious. Our group ordered tacos and a turkey burger. The turkey burger was actually flavorful, and the tacos were fantastic: tasty soft tortillas just a bit crispy on the outside so that they didn't get soggy; steak and chicken both full of flavor, but the chorizo was particularly great. Guac and chips were good too (but I wish there were a few more chips!). The only thing that disappointed us was the calamari, which was a bit fishy and not very crispy, but everything else was great.

“Delicious as always. I went yesterday, with a friend and I got to say, your prices have gone through the roof! I mean doubled by $8-$10 per meal. We also got there at 4:30 on a Saturday afternoon, the dead of August, we wanted a hightop table. We were told that they were reserved and That people would be coming in within the next 45 minutes, and they didn’t wanna have to switch us again. By the time we left at 7:30 there were still 2 high tops available/empty. I’ll still be back because it’s a Broadway but those two things definitely bothered us“
