“Highly recommend Celtic chicken dish, it was delicious!! All three of us would definitely order again. My only recommendation is to have the mustard sauce on my side and ask for brown gravy for your mashed potatoes. The vegetables were fresh and cooked to perfection with a delightful seasoning. Adriana our waitress was attentive to our every request and took such great careof us we will be back on a Wednesday to see her again The restaurant was decorated with beautiful green lights for St. Patrick's Day creating a beautiful ambiance!! Visit Carneys you will be happy you did!!“
“Excellent food! The New Zealand lamb chops are the best I ever had. The spinach and mashed potatoes were also excellent. The waitress came to us after 25 minutes and no one brought us the soup. What annoyed me was that I was charged a $2.00 "S/C: CC Fee" which the waitress couldn't explain. This was in addition to the credit card charge, which I was aware of.“
“Simply amazing! Can't imagine how they do it, but the service was AMAZING!! Somehow I walked in and got a table on the 2nd busiest day of the year for an Irish Pub for 6 people and there was no wait! Except look at my picture the place was packed standing room only!! Just Amazing!Kid-friendliness: Kids are more welcome than adults!! lol they had all the accommodations for them!“
“Wow! What a fantastic experience! Celebrating St. Patrick's Day at this establishment with a group of four was an absolute blast. The atmosphere was electric, perfectly complemented by traditional Irish live music. Our taste buds were treated to an array of delightful dishes and drinks, with portions that left us positively stunned. And let's talk about the Shepherd's Pie—it was sheer perfection, setting a new standard for excellence. I cannot emphasize enough how much I would recommend this gem to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. Count on me to return without hesitation!“
“Attended a large party at the Irish Poet for my establishment's annual holiday party. For apps, there were chafing dishes of chicken tenders, wings, and pigs in the blanket. I preferred the chicken tenders as the wings and pigs got a bit soggy. Then we were presented with mains: salad, penne a la vodka, chicken franchise, and sliced steak (almost like pot roast), along with roasted potatoes and mixed vegetables. The highlights were the steak, potatoes, and vegetables. Most dishes were lukewarm at best. I like my salad dressing on the side, and a thicker vodka sauce. The salad had so much dressing it wilted the lettuce. For dessert, Italian cookies were served but there were hardly enough to go around. I realize a lot of people skip dessert but it wasn't a good look to be short. Overall, I think a few adjustments to the food should be made in the future. That being said, Amy was a fantastic server. In fact, all of the staff/bartenders were attentive, taking orders, and cleaning up.“
