“DBC is so consistent with their amazing food and service that it makes it hard to go try other places when you know you will get consistency here. Great and tasty beer. Amazing burgers. So delicious fries! Appetizers all yummy. I came recently on a night with my wife and something that stood out for me that visit was when I watched one of the owners clearing a table. I made sure to make to tell them how admirable that was but so often you will see managers in other restaurants telling others to clean while they stand and watch them. The fact that the owners help out on the small tasks means how invested they are with their staff and business. We just asked my 4 year old last night what his favorite restaurant is and he said with confidence Dutchess Bier Cafe! Not sure if you’re aware but 4 year olds are picky eaters and he loves their burgers, fries, and makes sure that he can get the malt vinegar aioli! Thank you for being consistent but truly amazing!Kid-friendliness: My boys 4 and 7 love going and eating their Lil Dutchies!“
“Just had breakfast at Underground this morning. They have been closed in the morning since Covid but now have new owners. The coffee was just as good as it used to be and the breakfast was much better. It’s great to have a good coffee shop and breakfast spot again in Highland. I did stop in for dinner when the new owners had just taken over but they were out of a lot of things and hadn’t gotten their liquor license yet. It looks like they are still working on getting beers in tap but they do have cans and bottle of beer and wine now. The breakfast really was very good. The best spot for breakfast in Highland now for sure. I’ll leave another review the next time we go for dinner to see if they have gotten all the wrinkles ironed out. We got the eggs Benedict with spinach and the breakfast tacos.“
“Food: 4.75 Ambiance: 4 Service: 4 The pizza is amazing! Thin crust, crispy, great flavor. 5/5! My husband got the Sabrina sandwich which was off the hook.. Crispy fresh bread, thin chicken cutlets, pesto, balsamic.. *chef's kiss*. Where I went wrong was in ordering the Thai chichen salad. I knew better, but I was in the mood for some fresh greens. Well... The "salad" was 75% noodles and heavily covered in dressing. Stick with the Italian food here, as the name suggests, and you will be happy! The place looks gorgeous on the outside. In the inside, the decor is nice and sophisticated. Deceivingly to the outside, it's got more of a dressed up bar vibe than I expected. The service was friendly and did all things right, though they seemed a bit distracted. I never knew the makers of planet wings could make such great food! I'll definitely be back.“
“We happened to stop in on Easter Sunday without a reservation. Luckily enough we were able to sit at the bar, which was amazing. Luke, the bartender steered us in the right direction for food and their amble beer selection. Will not only be back but will tell anyone heading in that area to go.“
“Great Food and Service. The bad Loud Country Western Music deflated the experience. We did ask the waitress to turn down the volume and they did, but the annoying joke was where is the Mechanical Bull in this upper quality dining experience?!? The next time we are in town I will call in advance and if the same loud country western music is the ambience, then we will look for other options to spend our money.“
