“dirty matcha here is really good! it was a perfect balance of sweet, smooth, and bitter. the matcha and coffee both came out in the flavor profile but the oat milk and sweetener grounded the flavor. loved this little spot and will be coming back when in town :)“
“We were absolutely thrilled with the stunning wedding cake created by KatieRose Bakery for our wedding day! From the first tasting to the final slice, the entire experience was a delight. Katie’s attention to detail and creativity truly set her apart. She sat with us at our tasting for almost an hour, talking us through each of our tasting requests and working with us closely with us to design a cake that not only looked beautiful but also tasted incredible. Each layer was moist and flavorful, and we even got to mix and match our layers to reflect each of our personal preferences! The cake itself was so beautiful and exceeded my expectations. On the day of the wedding, I left flowers at the venue for Katie to decorate the cake with, and the final result was stunning. The fact that she was willing to do this to match the flowers of our venue was a detail I will never forget. Katie’s professionalism and expertise gave us complete confidence that our cake would be nothing short of spectacular, and she absolutely delivered. We could not recommend this bakery enough and look forward to visiting KatieRose Bakery in the future!“
“We went looking for a gluten free lunch and they had a great menu strictly for celiacs. The place smelled like heaven and the food was great. The people were very friendly too. All in all highly recommendDietary restrictions: They had a gluten free and vegan menu.“
“Have been coming here regularly for pretty much since they’ve been open. I have tried pretty much every breakfast sandwich in the Hudson valley and hazel rose takes the cake. Their brioche buns are fantastic. All of their breakfast items are amazing. They make delicious cheesecakes as well. Definitely best little spot in the area.“
“I went for the first time today and Stella helped me pick out some treat for our company’s marketing efforts. As soon as I walked in, she had a smile on her face and truly was so friendly! She helped me make the perfect selection! So friendly and quick, I’ll definitely be back again. Treats were also great.“
“Wow! The food is amazing! I didn't expect this when I went in. They were recommended to me and I said sure why not but wow impressive. Presentation is amazing, real baristas, extremely cordial and the deserts go so fast I was asked to buy when I get in versus before I leave because they run out! Great seating and WiFi is good.“
“I gave this place all my money in a matter of two days ???As a celiac, places like these are a gem. The food was incredible. I loved the variety of sweets, sandwiches, quiches, and more. Everything I tried was amazing. Even my non gluten free family members loved it. Highly recommend.Dietary restrictions: 100% gluten freeAnd many many vegan options“
“A cozy small candy/ice cream shop, with rare candy, is how I describe this place. I do enjoy when places branch out to have rare candy not found anywhere but the internet, plus have their own brand of sweet delights. Got a few treats here, to go since it was not crowded when I was here. Honestly the stuff I got was incredible and I will definitely have try here again to try the ice cream and more of chocolate selection.“
“This is one of the cutest shops, with great bubble tea options and delicious and unique macarons.Dietary restrictions: They have sugar free options, perfect for this on low sugar diets.Kid-friendliness: My teenage kids live this spot and enjoy picking out interesting cookie flavors and bubble teas.“
“We thought we would miss our local deli when we moved up here from Brooklyn. Turns out we were moving closer to the greatest deli we have ever known. Unbelievable sandwiches and gf bread cannot be rivaled.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free bread“
“By far my favorite bakery!!! I’ve been baked goods from them for years and everything is amazing! Best Gluten Free around! They even did my wedding cake and it exceeded all my expectations! Super friendly and easy to work with for custom orders.“
“Simple burger spot in Beacon - stopped by to eat a well deserved burger after a long hike. I got the single Dutch Burger ($11) and some fries ($3.50) to go. I loved all the veggies in the burger; lots of spring salad mix, tomatoes, slivered onions and lots of pickle slices. It was a pretty messy burger though, lots of water was on the bottom of my to-go container and the toppings kept on falling out. I thought the patty was a bit on the smaller side and the fries were way too soggy, but overall a decent spot!“
“We got our wedding cake from the Pastry Garden and it was easily the most delicious dessert I’ve ever had at a wedding! The flavors, frosting, and decorations were scrumptious and exactly what we wanted. They had unique flavors for us such as Bailey’s and made the day that much better. Every one of our guests complimented us on the cake and their empty plates showed how much they enjoyed it. The tasting process was quick and easy and their prices were great. We would recommend them to anyone!“
“The best Thai food in Poughkeepsie. Compared to Thai food in a real city like NYC, it’s bland, as is usually the case with suburban/small-town Thai restaurants. But it’s way better than other Thai places in Poughkeepsie (or the Hudson Valley, really). The owner is awesome and she really takes pride in her restaurant. If her clientele didn’t demand such mild flavors, I’m sure she would amp it up properly.“
“Oh my god. What texture. What an experience. A haven for taco lovers. My boyfriend described it as "homemade Taco Bell" and I couldn't agree more. Just go. Don't wait. They are open until later than now so we may go back.“
“Such a cute little coffee shop! Plenty of seating with different chair options, couch, stools, and chairs. They also had seating outside, but we went on a snow day so everything was covered. The workers were extremely friendly and the coffee was also delicious!“
“Pamela's is a hidden gem of Newburgh. With places coming in and trying so hard to be trendy, Pamela's reflects real local charm. Amazing food, personalized service and a view that is unmatched by any place I've been in the Hudson Valley. I have had several events there over the years and recommend Pamela every chance I get.“
“Beautiful clean restaurant! Great staff and huge selection of desserts! Andy and his wife are great people who run a neat operation. Sauce could use a bit more flavor nice portions but it made my dads zuppa pesce a bit bland and my veal parm look better then it tastes. Chicken tiramisu was a great dish and scarp was very good.“
“A parking lot is available. The waiter was attentive and knowledgeable. I visited on Saint Patrick's Day hence the special green menu. The regular menu was quite extensive, but I thought I would save them for another day. We were a party of three and we all enjoyed different entrees. I would definitely and order off of the regular menu. Inside and out, it had Traditional diner decor. The food was good; the drinks were good.“
“I have been coming to this establishment for years. Being a very particular person ( picky) this restaurant never fails. I get what I order and of course they exceed my expectation. I’ve tried other pizza in the area and none compares. Thank you!“
“Really nice experience. Ate alone after dropping my kid off at college. Very friendly staff…and good food. Had the penne aka vodka (delicious) with a green salad. Inexpensive for what you get. Large portion. Very satisfying. Not fancy…but clean and comfortable!Parking: Tons of parking. Located in a strip mall.“
“I really don't know how or why we stopped visiting Perkins, after so many years but after our wonderful breakfast this morning I know for sure where our next breakfast will be at they still have a real breakfast menu, very enjoyable it was as if we never left thank you back to stay.Parking: Very well situated, ample sitting and friendly atmosphere.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: Space well for wheelchairs.“
