“My lovely wife surprised me at Blooming Hill Farm for my day-after-birthday brunch, which also happened to be Easter Sunday, and I have to report, the food and experience were absolutely phenomenal. I mean in-CRED-ible. Erin and I shared the Spinach Salad, Maple Yogurt, Breakfast Pizza, side of Heritage Bacon, and Spring Hash. We were not able to decide what we liked most because everything was not just delicious and fresh, but one of the best meals at any restaurant we have had anywhere. The coffee and 2-Day Notice cocktail were both terrific, and Erin loved the House Bloody Mary. Our server, Katie, was spot-on, and the beverages and food were delivered quickly. If you haven’t visited Blooming Hill Farm for brunch, you should. First rate. Unqualified recommend.“

“We’ve been visiting The Cake Lady for a few years now, often stopping in for small treats—and the cupcakes never disappoint! They’re always fresh, delicious, and offered in such unique flavors.
For my recent bridal shower, my mom suggested we order the cake from The Cake Lady, and I’m so glad we did. I brought in an inspiration photo, and Sharyn immediately understood the vision with just a few notes. She was upfront and clear about the number of layers needed, the design details, and the cost. She also provided great suggestions for flavor combinations.
We chose a two-layer cake with one layer filled with strawberry custard and the other with a cannoli filling. Since the inspiration photo included flowers, Sharyn offered to decorate the cake with fresh flowers if we dropped them off the night before—which we did.
When my fiancé picked up the cake the morning of the shower, I was blown away by how closely it matched the picture. It was absolutely beautiful, and the cannoli filling was a huge hit—guests couldn’t stop raving about it and kept asking where the cake was from!
I’ll absolutely be returning to The Cake Lady for future events. Her work is stunning and the desserts taste just as amazing as they look!

“This place is amazing! We had 25 people coming from an Army game and called to see if they could take us all in an hour- they said yes and we are so glad they did! Servers Michael and Justin were incredible! We walked in, tables were set, water glasses filled and menus ready. They handled separate bills with ease, drink orders, soups, appetizers, meals and desserts with amazing customer service- and the food was a home run!! True comfort food with a flare! The Schwing burgers & Mac/cheese, deviled egg appetizers and skillet cookie were just a few of our favs! The list of beers on tap was long and something for everyone’s tastebuds for sure! Everything I have ever had from Chef James, from entrees to smash burgers to sandwiches and more, is not just great food... its artisinal. Lovingly made by someone who truly values great flavors, farm to table ingredients, and presenting his customers with something they simply will not find elsewhere. “Ever since moving to Newburgh, this has been my go-to restaurant. The menu is so varied, and everything tastes good. My favorite part is their consistency. It’s very hard to find a casual restaurant in this area that you can rely on for quality food. While I could nitpick that the pasta can be a bit oily and there is a lack of a good sandwiches on the menu, I love their cajun chicken alfredo, spanish style pizza, union taco salad, and they have some of the BEST nachos I’ve ever had. Plus the servers are so good at their job, so polite and friendly, and now they have turned into our good friends. Could not recommend more.“

“Wife and I were in from NJ and decided to stop for lunch. It was very good. the place is clean,great atmosphere reasonable priced .the food was hot, tasty and received it quickly. but most of all our waitress Jessica was nice and freindly, We didnt get the other lady's name but she was very friendly and they treated us like family. “The pretzels here are a million times better than auntie anne! They are very thick, super buttery, and have the perfect amount of salt. They also have a lot of different drinks that sounded really good and looked really good. We ate all of our pretzels by the time we got to our next store!!“

“This is a give guys same as all the others which is good when you have consistency. This one is a bit better because of the people working there. The tated young lady took my order, was very pleasant, and uphold me on a shake like she should. The order was fast and food was on point.

“Hailey Is one of the hard working person I’ve ever met. From warm greeting working as a host/ bartender/ waitress and buzzing the table / cashier. She is the definition of multitasking on the next level. And on top of that she continues to be motivated with positive attitude and composed. If I am the owner of this BareBurger I would be use Hailey as a model to my future employees. I would like to encourage the owner to hire more staff to serve more customers and potentially make more money. Plus Hailey should get a raise. “I told my wife, this is a “groovy” place. Love the combination of Puerto Rican, U.S and Mexican food blend. Their breakfast is delicious. Hard roll sandwiches, platanitos, tacos, and empanadas. “We had to go to my in-laws to help them and needed dinner so my wife found this place and I looked at their menu and saw the family size for us and thought perfect. Not only was the food good but I saved ten percent by ordering online which I liked. We live in Florida NY, but I’d be willing to go here again and try some other dishes.“
