“We had a delightful lunch on the Castaways deck yesterday during our spell of perfect, warm weather. No complaints at all regarding the food, drinks or service. There was one annoying yellow jacket that we eventually dispatched. On the whole, it was a wonderful outdoor, autumn dining experience.“

“I’ll preface this by saying that I’ve had garbage plates from Dogtown & Nick’s (the OG). I got a half-plate, which was still a huge portion weighing probably four pounds, with mac’n’homefries and cheeseburger topped with the cinnamon (mild but tasty) meat sauce and “a little bit” of onions, mustard, and ketchup. This was BY FAR the most delicious garbage plate I’ve ever had. I will ABSOLUTELY be coming back here. And it’s less than a 10-minute, quick’n’easy drive from Rochester General Hospital (so skip the Wolfgang Puck despite the convenience). I will add that the young woman who took my order was kind and friendly. The meal “to-go” was ready in less than 4 minutes. And the food was delicious, not at all greasy—literally PERFECT“

“I go to Hedges generally in the evening for drinks and to watch the sunset. But Friday night we went there for dinner. And I have to say we had a great time, the chef prepared us a delicious meal,my hats off to him. Not to mention the service was incredible! Looking forward to going back soon“
