“Nice place for breakfast in Alexandria Bay. Wonderful location, gorgeous views of the water. The atmosphere was nice, large place, plenty of seating. Our Australian server was magnificent! The food fell a little short, with my eggs Benedict being practically raw, my husband liked his carnivore omelet though!“

The wings were cooked perfectly—crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and the sauce had a great kick without being overwhelming. Service was quick and friendly, and everything came out hot and fresh. “They have yummy ice cream and every kind of candy you can think of. They are usually very busy. We only went there once this trip. Most trips there are daily visits. This trip we stopped at a different ice cream shop once or twice! Is it any wonder that I bring some extra pounds back home with me?🍨🍦“

“😊I have eaten here many times, especially summer and deep into fall. We bring family. We bring friends from out of state. We find the menu consistently creative, lots of choices, many things to like. Hard to pick a favorite, but like fish tacos and paninis, plus apps. Some of the desserts can be just awesome. I'll be there again at least several times this summer. Always find the people nice and welcoming. I have had lunch (mostly) and dinner, and even met for business of a non-profit there. It is a favorite place on the river.“

“We stopped by for the first time today while celebrating our daughter’s birthday. Three of us each getting a different meal option, it was all absolutely DELICIOUS!!! Perfectly cooked and seasoned! Also? When you are done dont forget to fully indulge and order dessert (to go of course, you will NOT have room for it after your meal!!). We did so, and when we got home and opened the containers OH MY! Not only were our dessert choice HUGE but we snuck a little bite of each just to try. ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL! Side note, our daughter got the Burbon Caramel Fried Dough Fingers to go and they packaged each element of it seperate in order to sustain the integrity of the end product. Nice touch for sure, kudos!!! You will most definitely be seeing us again.“

“The old Hampstead restaurant in Alexandria Bay was superb. The staff is most friendly, and great address immediately. We ordered the lobster with spinach, lobster Florentine I believe, and it was absolutely delicious. We substituted rice for mashed potatoes. It came with a salad. We ordered bread and had a delightful dinner. We did sit outside and it was a lovely evening. When I visit Alexandria Bay again, it will definitely be on my list of best restaurants to revisit.“
