This restaurant went above and beyond, to accommodate his allergy. The service is at level that is unparalleled, and I haven’t seen in years. - They helped with my mobility issues. For example like- going way out of their way to accommodate with their ramp, tbh just so extremely friendly service. There’s interesting decor inside, with tons and tons of local memorabilia on the walls. ... (Ask about their gas station ⛽️ sign conversation piece - that would make the tv show “American pickers” proud) When we had a question about the place - the owner himself came out, and answered it to us directly. - Unheard of nowadays. “Dinner with my daughter. She had balsamic chicken and I had chicken parm with spaghetti. I was surprised at how much water was on my plate. It really made it sloppy. The dinners didn’t seem as hot as I had expected. The brownie sundae came with a delicious and warmed brownie. The peanut butter pie was super sweet like you’d expect. Worth the $83 price? My sisters 5-year old twins celebrated their birthday with 2 younger kids in tow, and as someone with a long history in the restaurant industry, this is an image that makes servers run for the hills. BUUUUUT, he handled our group of 8, with 4 kids with patience and grace and did a really good job. Attentive and timely and the kids loved chatting with him and complimenting their experience as well. We made sure to clean up our destruction from the table and made sure to tip extra because a party of 8 with 4 kids is tough. (Let that be a note for other customers!) Breakfast was good, they even brought an extra egg to our table as one of the yolks was broken. That to me was exceptional customer service and not expected. Portions are big. Friendly staff.
