“Everything about Sal’s is amazing. The atmosphere- cozy, welcoming, classic and untouched. Also, everything was very clean. The service- friendly, warm, attentive and helpful. The food- these are the BEST chicken wings I’ve ever had. We had four flavours, all incredible. Garlic parm and medium hot were the best. All come with blue cheese. Couldn’t recommend more! We went here with friends before dropping them off at the airport. Please, go to Sal’s.“

“We had our diaper party here and can’t say enough great things about the experience we had and the staff that helped us. From the very beginning Scott, Beth and the rest of the staff were kind, helpful and very professional. We had been coming here long before it was 16 Ellicott and have to say how great the inside looks, how nice the staff is, how good the food still is even after the ownership change. If you’re looking to host a small party, go out to eat or even meet friends for a drink this is the spot!! We so appreciate everyone who helped make our party such a fun day!“

“A bit of a rocky start. Reservation was made for 6:30, but table was available at 7:00. No worries. Once we were seated, service was outstanding. The wine card is robust as well as the cocktail selection.
The entrees were delicious as were the deserts.“

“I always have an absolute blast every time I am here. The drinks are delicious and bartenders are absolutely amazing. Their upbeat personality and remembering what I am drinking really made me feel welcome.
They have seating at the bar and a few tables near the bar, and had a band play in the back room which was really interesting. They also have outdoor seating which is great in warm weather.
They offer food which I did not try but everything looked and smelled amazing.
The only negative is it is not handicapped accessible.“

“Went there before a play for dinner at Shea's Buffalo. This place is on the Chippewa bar strip, so we were not expecting much. Walking inside, it looks like a typical party/cocktail bar, brick walls, long bar, and tables opposite the bar with plastic chairs and Formica tables, so you are sitting in the bar. At 5:30PM on restaurant week before a nearby playing of Hamilton, we were the only diner's there (and only 4 others at the bar). Now the good part.... one of the best meals I have had in a long time!!!!! Waitress/bartender was prompt, attentive and friendly. The special for restaurant week that we had was $35 for soup/salad (I had soup), Duck with asparagus, yams, sprouts and and pie for dessert. This meal was fabulous! Perfect portion and perfect flavor. The caramel/peanut butter pie was luscious! On top of all this, we were there during happy hour, so $3 a beer. I highly recommend trying this place to eat, just don't expect a cozy, intimate atmosphere. You won't be disappoints, and you won't be broke.“

“I'm hesitant to post this place because I want it to stay secret. The prices for Friday fish is unmatched for the quality of food and amounts. It's my go to for lent and always ready in 20 minutes. Old style neighborhood tavern looks may be deceiving.“

“I alway enjoy whatever cocktail I get from Ballyhoo, and my last visit there was no different. One of the best bars in town in my opinion with very reasonably priced drinks and excellent customer service. Not a very large bar space, but definitely worth checking out. They do serve a limited food menu as well, but I have not tried any yet.“

“Got stranded at Christmas 2022. This hotel staff is absolutely amazing!! Very accommodating, super helpful. Other hotels are running out of food and these guys are making breakfast and a dinner for everyone. It’s truly an amazing crew. They are stranded with us and dealing with all the stress yet have a smile on their face!! A can not recommend this place enough, just because of the staff. “First time in the area for a Bills game- From Toronto, Ontario..was trying to find a place that was open for some food for after the game. Stumbled upon Kettles. We called from the car asking if we could do an order for pick up. They initially said they usually don’t do that on game nights and prefer people to dine-in. We mentioned that we were driving back to Toronto that night- agreed to make the wings and could pick them up in 20minutes.Did not realize they were a cash only and explained that I didn’t know if my bank card would work in their atm being from Canada- the lady that I was dealing with offered that I could venmo her the amount (Canada doesn’t have venmo) ATM worked. Wings were paid for. Service was great. Staff was very friendly. Wings were AMAZING. Will be a for sure stop every time I’m back on American soil.“

“As 49ers fans on game day we were welcomed with open arms during a snow storm and enjoyed great food, decent music and a few games of pool among strangers that didn’t treat us like such. It was a nice break from the snow while waiting to go to the stadium. Thanks for the great advice on footwear too!“

“lol this place isn’t “allen st bar & grill” or whatever, it’s The Pink. and i’ve heard their food is great (never eaten there because i’m a vegetarian). but one time when i was there i asked if there was any vegetarian food & the bartender served me some pickles, which was great. and drinks are cheap. great place to end a fun buffalo night. also if you’re a femme, you’ll make temporary best friends in the women’s bathroom every time. can you even say you’re a buffalonian if you haven’t been to The Pink? no. the answer is no.“
