“Great bar, with a good atmosphere to just hangout and drink, everyone is so friendly, the staff are very welcoming, the food is amazing, the cook is awesome. They also have a lady that does a craft night every month, which is cool, I've done 2 so far last two we painted gnomes, tomorrow we'll be doing a buffalo bills snowman porch leaner. Definitely recommend if you don't want to drink at a bar with drama, and want to just meet nice people.“

“I’ve been to pretty much every Mexican restaurant in the south towns and I can say with confidence that Don Juan is my favorite. The food is consistently a step above what I’ve had everywhere else. I’ve gotten take out here several times but never dined in, so I can’t offer much of an opinion on the service, but everyone I’ve dealt with during the take out process has been helpful and very friendly. “Went there for st. Patrick’s day. Couldn’t be more pleased. We had a reservation and got seated immediately. Service was fast and friendly and the food was out of this world. I think I’d sell my soul for more sticky toffee pudding. If you want an idea of their service I watched a man straight up slap a glass of beer out of the waitresses hands (he was a hand talker and it was an accident) and into the wall. She was super kind about it and someone (a manger or owner) came over and immediately changed out everything and cleaned everything up while the server got a new beer. Everyone was kind and quick about it and had I not happened to catch it out of the corner of my eye. they were so discrete Idt I would have. As a table we tried the Sheppards fries, the corned beef and cabbage, corned beef sandwich and sticky toffee pudding and all were incredible. Definitely will be back!“

“Went for a Sunday brunch and got the Huevos Rancheros and was pleasantly surprised by how good and delicious it was. I also had the Gypsy Juice as my beverage, along with some Pastelitos (beef) shared for the table. Those were just OK to me and I've had better elsewhere. My party and I sat outside for a nice day out on the patio and some people watching, and despite being the only ones out there while we were dining, we still had great service from our server.“

“Have been there twice now. Jimmy the bartender was awesome both times! Highly recommend. I’m not exactly sure what nights he’s out and about but we’ve been on a Sunday and Monday evening, and I’m very glad I’m moving to the ward so I can become a regular and have him as a bartender more regularly. Conversation always great, and he engages multiple groups if there’s more than one group so that everyone can get to know each other. They have magners, my favorite cider and Tully, my favorite whisky so I’m a happy camper! Thank you jimmy! “I love this place! It can become a little crowded sometimes but I definitely think it’s worth it for the atmosphere. The staff are super friendly and it’s always very clean! I live in the area and it’s nice to not have to travel far for a good tap. The only thing I really think they need to improve is the parking lot. There are about four parking spaces and on a busy night there is no street parking.“

“Went there for the 2 for $7 chili and bacon dogs on a Thursday around 6pm. Was surprised at what a good time we had. Bartender was very nice and helpful. She made us some amazing slushie drinks. I didn't know they offered those. I saw the machine hiding in the back and asked lol. They should advertise that a bit. Hot dogs were great and well worth it. We had a blast playing the MANY pinball machines. I loved the variety of stuff they had. It's not just a pool hall! The whole vibe was great and we will def be back. 4 stars!“

“My husband and I went to the Dog Bar last Thursday. The person who returned my call for a reservation gave us a very nice table - I had wanted a quiet table for two. The waitress, Anne (I think I got the name right), was fantastic with a nice personality. She answered any questions about the menu perfectly and her timing with the courses was spot-on. The steaks were cooked as requested. The atmosphere was nice and cozy and there were so many interesting things to read and look at on the walls that if conversation isn't your thing, you could amuse yourself by looking around. All-in-all, we had a really nice time and we both enjoyed our meals. Thank you to the friendly staff and good chefs at the Dog Bar!“

“Blue Fire BBQ recently catered a large family event. Our order included pulled pork, pulled chicken, jerk island chicken and mac & cheese. Everything was delivered exactly on time and included serving utensils. It was all delicious ( esp. the bbq chicken!) and there were many compliments! We will definitely be calling again for the next party.“

“1st time was Sunday afternoon, silo nachos, and chicken tenders, the silo nachos knocked it out of the park, chicken was good. They have guiness nuff said, the bartender was very friendly and gave us some of the history, also had a lengthy conversation with the owners son who seemed to be really into the who silo city .

“Maybe we were overhyped. Everything I heard and read said this place was legendary. But the menu was limited: beef on Weck and buffalo wings... or if you want a pizza, you can get the same options but on a crust with cheese. Otherwise, fairly standard sports bar apps.
The inside seemed too dark for a lunch, and the 'outside' area with lots of snow was crowded. Service was polite, but slow for such a small menu. We're told the place always gets a wait by noon and yet it takes 25 minutes to get your food even with so few options for entrees seems uncalculated and unnecessarily slow.
Food was good, but I'd say I've had equal quality wings and sauce at a bit fairer price. And the beef on weck seemed on par with Charlie the butcher, but comes with a handful of chips, not fries, at $15 for just the sandwich? I couldn't go 5 stars. Cost of business, I suppose
