“I was there at Jian Nan Syosset, Long Island. Everything went great!! But, those took the orders needed to be more educated to understand each dishes. We were a fairly larger group than standard party size. Some dished were small and some dim sum served with small quantities, like 3 or 4. Those who order for the large group, should give suggestion to order multiple orders for the same dish. So, each one in the group can have at least one.“

Plenty of parking spots as well and the area is nice for a walk around.“

“The food is here is by far one of the more reliable places to get Asian Cuisine. The food is not overly fried or heavily seasoned. We come here occasionally after the dog park visit, and we have yet to be disappointed. The wonton soup is a must have, better than anywhere else I have tried. The prices are also very good. Normally I have something criticizing to say but I genuinely appreciate this place for a cheat night. You won’t feel guilty with the fun of take out. The place is small and there isn’t anywhere to eat if you wanted. The customer service is good, however you will need to wait in your car because there isn’t much room to wait inside and no where to sit. Give it a try. Photo is my wife pounding down one of their egg rolls because she can’t wait till we get home (Not oily at all). As healthy as Chinese food can probably get in NYC.“

“Kenko is a great place to grab some good Vietnamese pho and bahn mi . Staff is very friendly and they are super quick with orders. I recommend the grilled pork bahn mi spicy. And the Pho of course . Prices are reasonable if you’re in the Merrick area be sure to check them out. They’re located right on the corner of the Merrick train station .“

“I should have reviewed this place years ago...given the fact that I have been coming here for over a decade when the place was a hole in the wall. This place has expanded and has stayed standing for a reason. Their sushi is ALWAYS fresh, their staff makes it a point to get to know you, and it's probably the best sushi I've had in all of NY....and I've had a lot. I will continue eating from here at least once a week (yes, I eat here at least once a week) until they decide to close their doors (which I hope is never)“

Wound up waiting 57 minutes for food to come out. They seem to need more help. All that being said, all the food that we ordered was fresh and delicious. “ordered off uber eats, got the oxtail egg rolls and rice and peas. egg rolls were amazing, tender oxtail and lots of it. also came with maduros/sweet plantain which were delicious if you like them soft. rice and peas were very bland, they gave me a whole lot for $5 so i assume they wanted to get rid of it. the peas were undercooked/powdery and overall just needed some salt. amazing otherwise don’t let the fake negative reviews steer you away“

“Aki is a Japanese restaurant with an elegant environment and convenient parking. The previous owner of Aki was Japanese. The decoration design of the store is rich in Japanese style, and the food is authentic Japanese cuisine. After the epidemic, the store owner was changed to a Chinese, but the taste of the food has basically remained unchanged, and the price has not changed, and if you pay in cash, you will get a 5% discount. It can be said that the price/performance ratio is quite high. “This place is pretty good for a hot bar food court. There were a good number of people seated eating the food, so I knew the food wasn't just sitting there all day. The food was tasty and cooked nicely. I was a little surprised that they used a longer grain rice instead of a shorter grain, but it was good with the entrees. I got the lunch combo special with 3 entree choices and soup. I would go back again for the ease and convienence, as well as for the flavors. I want to try the other offerings at the food court, since they looked pretty yummy. Next time I hope to explore the supermarket itself.“
