“First time at Dave’s with my nephews. They have spoken so highly of your food. I just want to shout out Madeline. She let me know that you actually have a cauliflower slider. What? Oh my goodness… she walked me through your menu, asked all the right questions to insure my first experience at Dave’s was exceptional. All this with a smile. I’m grateful to Madeline for going above and beyond. I’ll be back!“

“I had a great experience with the chicken wings. Each wing was perfectly crisp and flavorful. I chose the level 2 spice sauce, which had just the right amount of heat without overpowering the taste.
By the time I finished the last wing, I was full and completely satisfied. The price was more than fair for the quality and portion size. The only minor downside was the Cajun fries. They were cooked well, but the seasoning lacked the punch and depth I was hoping for. A bit more boldness in flavor could have made them match the wings’ power.“

“This is my second time coming here. The food is excellent, but my issue is the bathroom being out of order. I can’t wash my hands. Can’t use the bathroom. I gotta go outside to use the bathroom. I don’t think that’s cool. So now I can’t wash my hands now I have to find a place to use bathroom.“

“This is my go to spot when I’m craving fried chicken and ribs.
The chicken n rib combo never disappoints when it’s freshly made. The fried chicken is crispy on the outside and juicy inside, the ribs are saucy and tender, and the cornbread is one of my favorite parts of the meal (soft, slightly sweet, and freshly made).
Whether you order inside or through the drive-thru, the customer service has always been friendly and welcoming. They move pretty quickly too, which I appreciate.
If you’re in the Hempstead area and in the mood for good comfort food this spot is definitely worth checking out.“

“Tried the classic chicken sandwich, a little messy, tasted pretty good and was a decent portion but the price was outrageous. I know being inside any sports arena the prices are steep but it still hurts, especially when quality, portion size and flavor is outside is so much better. Worth a try but be prepared for a shock“
“Recently opened in Bethpage after a long wait. I had the 2 piece white combo but the wings weren't ready. Instead they gave me 2 tenders. The breast was moist inside, crispy outside. The tenders as good as any establishment. The potato wedges also crispy outside and moist potato flavor inside. The biscuit was good. The fried apple pie reminiscent of McDonald's back in the day. BBQ sauce tasty but not needed. The owner was kind and guided me through the first time. Some minor glitches but I will be back!“

“This location has been around for a very long time, about 40-50 years & the food is good & prices are reasonable. I've been eating here since I was a kid! The place is neat & clean & the staff is friendly & accommodating. The chicken or shrimp dishes are pretty good & I think they serve beer (plz verify). I definitely recommend them.
