“I was so excited to discover that our airbnb was only 8 minutes from Portage Pie while we were visiting NY for the solar eclipse. I've been a fan of owner Connie's posts in a pie baking community on Facebook for many years, so it was serendipitous that I was so close to her shop without even knowing it. We arrived on Sunday morning right at 11 when they opened. I was worried the selection would be limited since we did not pre-order, but they had many extra fruit pies and cream pies for us to choose from. We got an apple crumb and a cherry pie. The crust is so crispy, and the fruit fillings taste fresh and just like homemade. Our cherry pie was still warm when we got it. I highly recommend Portage Pie for quality that is so hard to find in modern-day bakeries!“
