I then went to get my food and Isiah, Mike B, and Chichi greeted me with open arms and big smiles. My food came within minutes and I got to enjoy it with my friends. I love it here i definitely recommend.“

A male employee who appeared to be the manager even lent my friends a private area and let them do their Isha(Islamic evening prayer). Definitely my new favorite burger joint.“

“Good chicken that doesn't quite get to great chicken. That doesn't mean don't eat here, just set your expectations appropriately. The name? That's great.

The grilled chicken was fine. It might have been slightly over-roasted, and wasn't exploding with Maillard flavor the way a great fire-roasted chicken is. It comes with two sauces, one a bbq sauce and the other buffalo sauce. Both had very heavy vinegar notes. The mac and cheese could have been cheesier.

Service was fast and pleasant.

Would I eat here again? Yes. Would I go out of my way to do so? Probably not.“

“This small spot would be bustling with street traffic from the local Mount Vernon government staff at lunch to the barrage of kids getting out of school needing a snack if it were not for COVID. According to local long timers, this place has been around for a while. On recommendation I tried the grilled chicken and rice platter. The chicken was fresh, hot, juicy and tender with fluffy seasoned rice underneath and a cool basic lettuce and tomato salad off to the side. All packed neatly in a styrofoam carry out box. The cucumber sauce is worth requesting extra on the side. You'll thank me later. The owner seems to always be there and is quite personable. There's also a little Jamaican booth right inside the store. They seem to stay having business. I hope both spots can withstand the effects of the city shutdown and lack of customers. I'd hate to see them close like many of their neighbors.“

“I have been to many Chic’s and this is my first crispy nugget experience. Mia my cashier ensured crispness and she did not lie . This was the best Dang chic Fil A I’ve ever had. Thank you for a delicious experience. It was so good I ate my whole box of 30 on the car I shared with no one and ate every nugget. I love the original chic Fil A sauce and the other options are ok but the original is the best and it’s best for my sophisticated chic fil A pallet. However, for the past 6 years now it has been exceptional. things have drastically changed at this place. Delicious quickly made fresh food served by absolute professionals! Hassim and the team he leads day in and day out are nothing short of amazing. Thank you for the top tier service.“

“They have THE BEST chicken tenders in town! The quality of the meat and the size is definitely on point. I only purchase from here if I'm craving some. I haven't had the chance to purchase anything else yet, but so far so good. The only thing that I wish can improve are their business hours. They are closed Saturday and Sunday which sucks.“
