“I absolutely love going to this Jamaican spot for lunch, the atmosphere is fresh the staff are friendly , they always have good music playing, some days they’ll even play gospel music which I find to be very soothing . My favorite thing to order is their chicken soup which they will serve throughout the week and on Fridays they’ll bring out the fish soup which is AMAZING!!! Both soups are just bursting with flavor definitely 10/10 will always recommend!!!“

“Its rare to go to a jamaican restaurant and they have a full comprehensive menu with all items available 7 days a week. In most places they only serve certain items on certain days. Everything is available everyday here. And the taste is top notch. From now on, I will come here everytime I'm in NYC.“

“We recently had them cater food for a large house party and Cravin Jamaican was a hit! We've ordered from here many times and love the food but we were impressed with how much everyone at the party were huge fans. My husband was actually not even able to get any jerk chicken because people devoured it so quickly! I'm very glad that we catered from Cravin. The prices here are quite reasonable, making it easy on the wallet. The portions are generous and satisfying, truly making every bite worthwhile. “I can still and will always remember November 13th. This was one of the most important day of my life my wedding day. I went to the restaurant to speak with Mr. McKnight of this my special day about 2 weeks f before the due date, this is so because the first time I ate his meal I felt as I was floating on dry land the food was off the chain. From then I told him that whenever I am getting married he have to do the catering for me. He was excited and happy for me. All he said was write what I wanted on the menu and he would do the rest. Wow wow wow what can I say the food was one in a million. The guests enjoy ever bit of what was provided and wanted to know more about his business. “Very good food, drinks (descent) and atmosphere. The owners are friendly and will accommodate you as much as possible. I remember my very first time going there it was my 2018 2nd Masters Graduation celebration. The owner surprised me with a nice setting with tables and covered chairs, great lighting and the aviance was breathtaking. My guest, family and I thought it was quite impressive. The prices are reasonable as well.“

“I’ve worked near, passed by, and wanted to try the food here for years. It was also rumored that a former coworker was part owner of this restaurant/bar. I finally got a chance to stop by today and experience Jamaican food at its best. I ordered a pound of jerk chicken and a large curry chicken dinner to take home to the family. It took 90 minutes to get home and warm up the dinner and we were not disappointed. Authentic and flavorful is all I have to say. The staff was friendly and I hope they remember to tell Mike I said hello.“

“I can't get enough of the Brown Stew Chicken. The Rice and Peas with the gravy is always fresh and flavourful. Yummy patties are a must try. Great prices and knowledgeable staff. No long waiting on lines and large portions. I'll be back for more soon.“

“The food was delicious. I used to go all the time (2021) and get fried chicken, but they didn't have it. So I got curry chicken and... IT TASTED LIKE CRACK (super delicious). There was only 1 worker and she was nice (my dad knows people there) and it's was kinda dark but the atmosphere was okay overall.“

“There are many foods options to choose from, such as authentic Jamaican curry goat, tripe with beans and fried chicken are my faves - good portions with great taste. I swear someone's grandmother is in the kitchen putting in that work. I recommend this establishment and have gone back way over several times!!!“
