“Just ate and shopped here for the 1st time! Woohoo! 3 cheers for Armazém! Lina and the whole staff were so friendly and helpful. We are some salgadinhos (warm Brazilian snacks) and got a take out dinner too. The market is good- small, clean but has the important things like Brazilian cuts and smoked meats for feijoada and churrasco. I can’t wait to come back for feijoada on a Saturday. The bakery items look awesome too. Check it out. I found the prices quite reasonable for the quality and value in NY.“

“We woke up early on a snowy Sunday and changed our plans because of the weather, so we decided to look for a breakfast spot instead. We had passed this place many times, and since it had great reviews, we finally decided to give it a try. What a great decision.

Any review that says the food is bland must be biased, because this was one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. The whipped cream tasted like it was freshly made. The whiskey pancakes were incredibly flavorful, with perfectly spiced raisins and apple slices mixed right in. The Hungry Farmer’s plate—with eggs, cheese, bacon, and sausage all together—was like a circus in your mouth.

This will definitely be our new go-to breakfast place when we want to splurge a little. The prices are basically the same as a diner, so why go to a crappy diner when you can eat at such a pretty, spacious restaurant?“

“Friends recommended this neighborhood gem and we were not disappointed! We really enjoy restaurants that have a variety of Tapas and Speak Easy's selection of Tapas is great. Lots a different choices to try. We had the Chorizos, Meatballs and Potato Croquettes which were all delish. Tapas portions were hearty to share for 2 so no disappointments on our end. We'll be back to enjoy some of the other Tapas for a relaxed friendly dinner vibe. We're adding Speak Easy to our favorite restaurants dining rotation!“

“Went here for the first time, here are my thoughts:

Customer service: Great! Very welcoming and kind.

Food: The breakfast was AMAZING! I purchased the P.O.A.M and hazelnut latte with a beef stick. The presentation for everything was gorgeous! It tasted just as good as it looked.

Price: It was a bit on the pricey side but not to expensive. I spent roughly $40 for everything.

Parking: I went around 9am and there was plenty of free parking on the side street.

Atmosphere: I sat inside to eat and read a book. Very nice inside. Good amount of sunlight and cozy!

I HIGHLY recommend! I found this place while driving one day and no regrets.“

“The boba is insanely delicious and way more affordable than other boba shops I’ve been to, the workers are so kind and welcoming and they even gave me some of the extra slushy from the boba I ordered which was insanely kind because it was basically a free boba ! “Ordered for the first time last night, they were super accommodating since we called at 8:45 and they close at 9:00…. They made us 5 pies and I’m was so appreciative. They were so nice and even recommended one which I absolutely loved (with potatoes!) we can’t wait to go back but to eat there so we get the Pizza Hut out of the oven! “Have ordered many times from Ole’s. The food is delicious and service friendly and warm. Today, decided to eat in so we could try the nachos crispy and warm in the store. They were amazing!!! The other items were also great, my kids loved all of it. At the end, we had a chance to meet one of the owners, Manny. He was very friendly and warm, chatted with my boys and then surprised them with a warm churro. Needless to say, we’ll be coming back even more frequently now. Yum yum yum.“

The staff is so attentive and friendly. Last week, add to that list my interaction with Stella, who is fairly new to the Farm. So friendly and sweet. “I’ve been ordering from Orale for months now, but as soon as I crack open the container, the food hypnotizes me and makes me forget to take a picture. Every dang time. Not sure how I broke the spell this time, but let me tell you, still amazing.

I live on Long Island, so in my opinion, our average Mexican food is terrible. It’s either because too fancy and expensive trying to be more than it needs to, or it’s gone commercialized that’s overpriced and inconsistent quality-wise (looking at you tacombi). In steps Orale. Food is always amazing, fresh, consistent. Best chicken quesadilla I’ve had anywhere, hands down. Their carnitas burrito is also so savory and indulgent. My wife can never finish it in one serving.

Bonus: their red and green homemade sauces are so special. Really incredible balance of heat and flavor. I never have enough of it. I’m considering applying to an unpaid internship there just to learn how to make it myself. Or maybe I can get paid in sauce. Still working through the details here.

Double bonus: their staff is personable and attentive. Feels more like getting food from a friend.

Triple bonus: I walked in one time to get a pickup order and there was a 70th birthday party there and everyone was drinking tequila. Atmosphere was electric. Fired me up. I will now plan my next birthday there.“

Randy the owner is not only the nicest guy but a fantastic chef! He and his wife run the business. I had his brisket (at his insistence!) Delicious! Sweet potatoes and collard greens. Customer next to me raved about the banana pudfing so I added that too. All 5 star!!! Very happy I took the chance on a place in a gas station!!“

“Noodumpling in Hicksville is an absolute gem! I stopped in recently and was blown away by how fresh and flavorful everything was. The dumplings are some of the best I’ve had—juicy, well-seasoned, and clearly made with care.
The staff was super friendly and patient when explaining the menu, and the food came out quickly even though the place was busy. The portions are generous, the prices are reasonable, and the whole restaurant feels clean and welcoming.

“Hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner here and we are SO glad did - everything was perfect! Everyone could not get over how delicious all the food was. Danny worked with us to create a menu that was tailored to us and our guests and we got SO much food included in the package we did. He also worked with us to create table arrangements that worked best for our event. I was worried at first that the space only being partially private and not a true private room would be an issue but it was not at all! We really didn’t need it and were happy to still get to enjoy the Sinatra singer that plays for the restaurant that night. He even came over and sang for our party and had us dance which was not expected but a fun surprise that we loved! Overall we had a great event here and I am so happy we chose them to host it!“

The broth is made in house, they have my favorite style of noodles with are straight noodles

The chashu is by far the best i have had, it was so tender that it fell apart in my chop sticks

And unlike most ramen restaurants, their chashu is made in house

The look of the chashu is unique compared to any other ramen place I have eaten at

I had to drive 50 mintues to get here

But I am coming back because I really want to try their Tsukemen ramen
