“Always allow second chances. Sadly, it's been years since I've had the food here. I was greatly surprised at the quality! Where can you get a fish fry on a Monday?! Right here and it was good! We had a steak and cheese sub over all delicious! Thinking fresh baked roll as well. Lastly, a calzone. All and and all it was delicious, yeah, a bit pricy, but tastey 😀“

“I dined here by myself this morning. I came at a good time. There were 2 booths left as they were very busy and just 10min after I arrived there was a small wait. The restaurant is small but cozy. They also have stools at the counter you can dine at. My waitress greeted me with a smile. She was friendly and provided me with great service. The owner kept my coffee topped off and warm. He seems to be a very happy owner. I don't think they have air conditioning because it was a tad warm. I ordered 2 eggs, rye toast, and bacon. Everything was cooked fresh. My breakfast came with a slice of watermelon which was a nice refresher after my meal. The prices are more than fair. I'm so happy that I stopped by and will definitely visit again.“

“Michelle and her team are wonderful, and they go out of their way to ensure that diners enjoy their experience with Avas table. The food for my wedding that they provided, was fantastic, and the coffee rubbed steak is simply out of this world. Whether it is to enjoy dinner or brunch on the weekends provided by them at Freedom Run Winery, or to have your event catered by Avas, you cannot go wrong!“

“We went over for dinner and the entire experience was AMAZING! We were 20 plus and all of our drinks and food came out quickly and was great. We had the best service from Samantha that I have ever had in my 6 years of hockey seasons. She was organized, friendly, and a pure pleasure. If you are near here it is a must go!“

“Breakfast lunch or dinner there's always something on the menu to appease your taste buds... and it's all homemade!! N did I mention deserts.... fresh cinnamon rolls n muffins, or I dare you to try a slice of homemade pie soo many choices I bet you can't have just one... it's cozy little family restaurant right in the heart of lockport you can dine in or takeout or give them a call because YES They deliver too
Kid-friendliness: Children's menu, and they have highchairs and booster seats with plenty of coloring books n crayons to keep impatient little ones occupied don't forget the cute little kids plates n sippy cups... I always got excited for laports as a little girl growing up“
“We were recently disappointed with food at Sunday brunch at an upscale place. Today we stopped on a lark here en route to a nearby farm market for their fresh apples and cider. Oilcloth table covering as I had growing up. Menu paper resting in plastic sheet covers with circle metal holders. Candy store & bakery in another room. One might say homey, others perhaps a dive. We wondered what we had done being there. Our breakfasts far exceeded our expectations. Both meals were hot on arrival. Perfectly prepared. Eggs over easy and the 1/2 omelet was among the best ever. Sausage links and home fries were wonderful. Chef did not presume to know our tastes as we added our condiments as we desired. Toast was homemade bread. Several types available. Coffee was hot and freshly brewed. Refills were offered on a timely basis. Server was friendly and efficient.“
