“What a great experience. My wife and I stopped at 2 wineries while in Niagara. When we pulled in we were not expecting much. Wow were we wrong. We were greeted by Jim who sat down at our table and started talking. He was the wine maker. He gave us great info and the wine was amazing. We like dry and these wines were fantastic. We loved the tasting, the info and we left with 6 bottles of wine! Thank you“
“ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! I bring all my friends and family to experience it!!!“
“Not your average winery. I have been to wineries all over the world from Bordeaux to southern Spain, Western Cape, South Africa and Australia. For a New World vineyard you are getting something special here.
Kevin, the winemaker along with his daughter, verbose knowledge and passion persists in every bottle. The back story of this place is as interesting as the wines themselves. If you can try only one in the Niagara AVA I recommend Long Cliff. Blaufränkish and Sauvignon Blanc are definitely worth trying!“
“Freedom Run is hands down our favorite winery! Kurt and the entire staff are very friendly and are extremely knowledgeable! They make you feel right at home too! I definitely recommend Freedom Run!!!“
“Stopped in for the first time today and had a fantastic experience! Scott was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming. He really knows the wines and made the entire tasting enjoyable and informative. We felt right at home and will definitely be back!“
“They are a family-run business that strives to put quality products before profit. They are a great venue for smaller events with an open-door policy. I highly recommend.“
“An excellent winery in every regard! The facility was gorgeous and very well appointed. Lots of nice outside seating. Service was personable and the wines were excellent. Surprised at the 4.5 rating bit looking at the 1 ratings they were all over 4 years ago. You need to add them to your Niagara Wine Trail list!“

“Has all the makings of the place it used to be, unfortunately time is kind of passed by a bit and I know this kind of happens when you have something that’s close to the lake. Nothing a little cleaning and gardening wouldn’t fix. On a scale of 1-5 the wine with red about a three, still a nice place to visit and see, and they were very nice.“
