“Pretty good food. Looks like a family owned business. I loved the vibe of the restaurant, walking in to what seems like a bodega in Mexico. The lady (might be the mom) was very attentive to all of the customers, she came by our table almost every 5 minutes asking us if we needed anything at all. The free salsa was pretty good. I would def come back when I’m in the area. We ordered a lot of tacos. The carnitas was OK but the spicy pork, al pastor and the sausage tacos was really good. Good food for a very decent price!!!“

We started with a large order of guacamole that was really good followed by many tacos, two bowls, street corn, a side of beans and a side of fried plantains. We loved everything that we ordered and look forward to returning soon. Also, I wish that I could remember our servers name because she was just that good! “This has to be one of the best restaurants in Highland falls if you’re looking for some good soul or Caribbean food! Everything is flavorful and my food is always hot. I personally love the fried chicken, Mac n cheese, collards and the yams. I work at West Point and I was 1 of the 1st customers when it opened. I met Chef C the owner whom was very personable, polite and professional. I went in today to order food only too see his obituary on the wall, I had no idea he passed away 2 months ago…this has been heavy on my heart all day which prompted me to leave a review. I will truly miss his wonderful convos and attentiveness when ordering food. I am glad to see that his brother has stepped in to keep the place going. Chef C was passionate about his business, he started something good for the town as there is many food options around so I’m glad the brother didn’t let it go. The food still had the same wonderful taste/quality and for the price you pay it’s worth it! Keep up the good work“

“This place is incredible! The menu has a lot of variety and everything was very clean. Our waitress was an absolute legend!
The food... I just cannot believe how good it is! The creamed spinach is so fresh!! This was the best I have ever had! Mom had the quesadilla which had a perfect cheese blending with chicken and such wonderful guacamole. And the creme brulee was so creamy and balanced, it really knocked me out. I will be back many more times!!“

The food was fantastic as always, our server, Rafael treated us like royalty, the margaritas with sugar rims were fabulous (added plus we arrived for happy hour), and the entertainment was so much fun!
