“I had such a perfect dinner at Sikgaek! The owners, waiter and waitress were so nice and friendly. Every dish was made with great care. Absolutely loved their meat quality (forgot to take photos!) and enjoyed the fried mini crabs, and fried rice, and the pistachio Gelato! Strongly recommend for anyone who wants to try authentic Korean food!“

“Well known kbbq spot near ktown offering pricey, but delicious marinated meats, casseroles and more. Started with half a dozen banchan, there is a variety of meat set options for the table to choose from or a la carte.

The items are cooked by staff so the usual designated kbbq chef can relax and eat😆. Seating is a bit cramped, and can be an issue for people with accessibility problems. Blue handball is used to hold the burner controls, very random.“

The service was great all the staff was super nice (our waiter Joseph was super kind!) the power went out due to a snow storm mid meal & we still felt well taken care of (plenty of candles and servers around). “I came here with family on the night of the snowstorm so I made an early dinner reservation to beat the storm. Love was recommended by a friend as I wanted some real good Korean BBQ. It was such a great experience. I wish I remembered my waiters name because he answered a lot of questions my brother had because he and my niece are new to Korean BBQ. It did not disappoint. Everything was great. I like that they give you each a tray with different sauces. They were polite in asking when could they cook other meats we ordered. Some places don’t talk and just do it. We ordered a lot of food so I like when they pace themselves. It was a really good experience and I will definitely be back!“

This was my first time trying Korean BBQ, and **Cast Iron Pot** did not disappoint!

The food was absolutely great, and the menu offers a ton of variety, so there is truly something for everyone to enjoy.
We went with a party of four on a Friday night and were thrilled to be seated with no wait at all. The service was good, attentive, and kept everything moving smoothly.

We had an amazing time and will definitely be coming back for more. Highly recommend checking this place out!“

He made sure that the meat was prepared just the way we liked and pacing everything so we never felt rushed. “By far my fave kbbq spot. The meats are high quality and the servers are always very friendly. Their marinated short ribs and house special spicy pork are my absolute faves. Love how the charcoal flavor gets into the meat. Their mool nengmyun (buckwheat noodles in a cold broth) compliments their bbq meats really well, and their broth is the real deal. The Korean-style beef tartare (over seasoned sushi rice) is phenomenal and my must-eat every time I go.“

“Been coming here since I was a kid. Authentic korean restaurant with all the dishes you can think of and bbq if you like. The only thing that was a letdown was their rule when ordering bbq. Minimum is two orders of meat. I never knew about this rule because we usually go with larger groups and order a lot. It was only me and my girl this time and we both wanted our own main dish with a little bbq meat but unfortunately had to go without the bbq this time.

No fuss. We ordered a seafood pancake for appetizer and seafood soon dooboo and dolsot bibimbap for our main dishes. Came out to about $60 before tip so very affordable as always.

Place used to be 24 hours but I see they've cut their hours to midnight. Anyways. Always a good place to go for a guaranteed good time. Come early or book a reservation otherwise there will be a wait. During peak times on the weekends, you might be waiting awhile.

They coned off two metered spots for customers so it was nice to pull up and park right in front.“

We did lunch specials with a dumpling appetizer. The dumplings were so light and fresh. The portions were huge. I came away with enough leftovers for at least two more meals. “I am very familiar with the korean restaurants in the flushing area and not sure how I missed this place but have to say the food was AMAZING. Everything from the banchan (side dishes) to the meat marinade quality was excellent! Jeolla flavors came on strong (known for their deliciousness). Definitely a hidden gem! Also, recommend their dakdoritang. Probably top 3 I’ve ever had in my life. And definitely ask them to do the finisher with rice at the end for this.“

“Went there for lunch so was not too busy. Food (kalbi) was excellent. Meat was extremely tender and their side dishes were tasty and plentiful. Their selection of food was good and was impressed by the selection of aged meats they had. Would definitely recommend this place to others. Parking is easy in their lot and price is comparable to other KBBQ restaurants. Only negative is their bathroom which appear very outdated.“

“Came here over the holidays with my family and it was pleasant surprise. I tried many Korean barbecue spots, but this one was fantastic especially if you get the sirloin. I would highly recommend the duck as well.

They do a great job cooking it for you on the table.
